I've yet to meet a person who listens to Deftones, which is crazy to me. But when I do, I hope they'll know songs like "Mein", "Cherry Waves" , "smile" etc. Then I'll be really happy.

When this first came out. I was upset they weren't screaming. But overtime and even then I got the essence of the song and I agree. Serj is clutch in a specific way.

This song was one of the most underrated Deftones songs ever. The song failed to chart and the critics call it "boring." I love this song, because SOAD singer Serj Tankian is in that song. I give it a 👍.
I can’t believe I ever felt this song was a skip. A lotta Deftones songs get saved by second chances, they really warm up on you if you let them. Once you find the groove, usually it’s game-on. A lot of appreciation for Deftones songs can come from playing them, even Teenager. Mein’s chords and strumming patterns are really fun to play, far from boring.
I've said before and by christ i'll say it again...one of the only bands that haven't changed their style yet have remained FUCKING splendid. What a band.

I think I officially fell in love with Deftones watching this video. It showed me more about their musical diversity than anything else, and I LOVE IT!
My daughter recently passed away, about 1 month ago. She was just 8 months of age but she was not an ordinary baby . She sang and danced anytime she could . This song helps me get through it all and makes me feel at peace . She’s resting well but it does hurt knowing I’m still here and not with her . I can not emphasize how much I literally cannot wait to meet her again . I’m struggling but fighting . I knows she’s happy up there , she was never ever sad , only when I didn’t let her grab things she wasn’t allowed to . Nothing else I could really say but I just seen people opening up in the comments so I thought it’d help . Love one another

Not exactly a fan of Deftones, but i always thought Mein was their best song or one of. Excellent drums arrangements by Cunningham, deep minimalistic lyrics, and those dissonant riffs combined with Moreno's unique interpretation.

Now most of the time, he resides in New Zeland with his family. Ive heard that when you are in the process of becoming a citizen of certain country you cant leave that country i guess thats why he couldnt be in this video.

This song is gravely underappreciated. Abe's grooves are TOP notch, and Stephs weird riff is so good. Also I love the Serj feature.
