RV the Florida Panhandle: Holiday Campground on Ochlockonee Bay

- [0.6] We suddenly had to take an unexpected trip when Hurricane Dorian was projected to get uncomfortably close to where we were still deep in the renovation process of our RV on the Florida Space Coast. We decided to make the best of it and booked the only open lot (being Labor Day weekend) at Holiday Campground on Ochlockonee Bay in the Florida Panhandle. We stayed just outside of any affects from Dorian for a nice time at a great little campground with a wonderful view.

This series is more about us getting used to RV life and the process of documenting it all, and is not meant to be proper episodes, more like preseason--or pilot--episodes. However, we do try to make them a little informative and hopefully somewhat entertaining. We officially go live with real episodes based on travel in April of 2020.

Your renovations are sooo nice so far! Wow.. your camera gear is incredible! We just still use our ipad, iphone and imovie to do stuff and a 20$ plug in mic! You guys are soooo professional .

Thank you! I've been trying to keep things simple while we've been renovating, but since we were at a park with some extra time, I stepped it up a notch for this video. This is closer to what our videos will be like once we're on the road. I've always been into photography/videography as a hobby and made some videos while I was in the Army (they all use copyrighted music so I can't post them). Once I got out, I took some classes at a local college though the GI Bill where I learned a lot about audio and lighting. I'm excited to finally have a use for these skills! We've mostly been using a GoPro for our videos, but in this one and the flooring video I used a DSLR as the main camera. I was really happy to finally be able to work the drone into a video! -Dean
