- [0.7] We took a trip down to the Big Pine Key Fishing Lodge with our RV and motorcycle for a few days in the Florida Keys. While there we explored Big Pine Key, as well as near-by Pigeon Key and Bahia Honda State Park. We also checked out a few local places to eat. We had a great time and highly recommend visiting this area of the Keys.

How are you getting the bike around? Is it on a trailer or on a bike rack on the back of your motor home?
What was the deal with the bacteria? I’m headed there in 3 weeks
It usually only occurs during the hottest months, this time of year you should be good. Even when it does occur, like in our video, you will still see plenty of people in the water with no issue. They don't close the beaches, they just warn people out of an abundance of caution. Infections are rare, but if they find it in the water, they have to warn people.
