I love Kruk and Kuip, but they are both getting older. At some point one of them won't be able to be doing the TV side of the Giants. I'm sure they could add Brodie in somewhere. I mean, they just made Buster the president of Baseball Operations. I remember the times Brodie would fly his little plane out to Fresno to cover the Grizzlies (AAA Giants back then), so I very much would like him to stick around with some kind of a position with either Giants or A's (although the latter might be a little more a commute.)
I'm a Boston guy, regarding sports the Red Sox of course are my team. But concerning sports voices, Jon Miller and Brodie Brazil are my 2 favorites. There's something about the sound and articulation of words as well as content that pleases the imagination. I'm sure Brodie has a great future ahead of him.
It's been an honor to find your channel as a random East Coast sports fan who was looking for A's coverage during their stadium saga. So sorry to see that it ended this way for you and everyone. You've been a class act for the A's coverage and everything else you do. You've become someone I look to for balanced, measured and thought provoking sports coverage. Thanks for all that you have done for so many years and who you are as a person. The world and sports media could use a lot more Brodie Brazil's in it. Best of luck for all your future endeavors, personally and professionally. Take care
Thank you Brodie for all you have done to keep us updated on the A’s where ever they end up. Good luck my friend what ever you do going forward. Sad to think Oakland is no longer a major league sports city.
Take the time you need Brodie. We love you man. As for the 50K subs, a celebration live stream with phone calls would be pretty cool! (50K subs cake required)
Take all the time you need Brodie, you have dedicated an untold amount of emotional energy and effort to covering this whole slow motion train wreck. No one would blame you for wanting some family time and laying low for a bit
Thanks to Brodie, and Oakland A's fans everywhere. I am from Toronto Ontario and appreciate Brodie's ongoing coverage as I have been following this channel for only about a year or so now. I have been an A's fan since the late 1980s and the 1989 WS between SF and OAK when the Loma Prieta quake hit was one of the most enjoyable teams and seasons ever. In the early 1990s I saw the Oakland A's play the Toronto Blue Jays at SkyDome and it was the best game I have ever attended. Todd Stottlemeyer VS Bob Welch were the starting pitchers, lead-off hitter Rickey Henderson was pitched inside on the 2nd pitch of the game and the dugouts cleared. It was a Sunday afternoon game and it was the best in-person baseball experience of my life. I am so grateful to have seen that Athletics team. It is also the only time that I sat in the section behind homeplate, it is a vivid memory all around. Toronto lost that game. I am so grateful to have seen that A's team, even more so than witnessing KC's George Brett hit for the cycle at a night game the previous season. I have not followed MLB since 1995, and these days I am interested in stadium news and cases of relocation and retraction. Witnessing the end of the Oakland Athletics has been the most depressing bullshit I have ever experienced in terms of pro sports. This was once the most feared team in all of MLB. Mount Davis was the kiss of death, and the A's were sabotaged by wretched ownership and none of you lifetime Bay area natives deserved to see a once mighty team go out like this. I never thought I would see this happen to the Oakland A's, because a year ago there was still hope. All the best to Brodie Brazil, and I hope this is not the end of the line.
I, too, am from Toronto. Love your comments. My favourite A's squad was 1992, when the Jays beat them to reach the World Series. To achieve their greatness, Toronto had to beat greatness. What a story in Oakland. Injuries all over the lineup, yet the "Will to Win". Those A's players are just as beloved as our Jays. Watch and listen to the classic games. Enjoy!!! Thanks Brodie. You are our good buddy by the Bay. Keep up with great work!!!
The A's were once in Philadelphia and then in Kansas City before going to Oakland. Things change. Blaming greedy owners is easy to do but the fact is that Oakland has gone downhill, before the A's left, the football team and basketball team also hightailed it out of the city already. Maybe it's an Oakland problem? I'm stoked to go see a baseball game in Vegas one day.
Thanks all you do for real Brodie! Like I had posted on Twitter. I would love to make it out there next year for something that's going where you, Casey, LDB, 68's and anyone else. I couldn't get out and be there since I'm going through chemo after having surgery for colon cancer. Just to meet everyone would be awesome!
There should be double that number of subscribers, one of the best, if not the best sports focused channel on youtube. Personally I love the live streams, I just wish I had some heads up on when they are happening so I can take part in them more.
I'm not an A's fan, I've only heard of you via this TH-cam channel. But you've covered the whole A's move issue wonderfully and I also enjoy your baseball/sports-general content. Am really sorry to hear how this all went down for you, your fellow broadcasters and the A's fanbase. But as they say, when one door closes...Wishing you nothing but bigger and better things in the future. Hope ESPN or Fox Sports comes calling sooner than later. Even those streaming services are in dire need of quality broadcasting talent.
Yea I'm a guardians fan I started watching him because of the saga of new stadiums and sports venues and typically watch for the general sports content
I know these sentiments don't mean much in the moment, but as a former SAN DIEGO charger fan and love for Bip Roberts and Dave Stewart for their Padres ties, I wholeheartedly feel the pain anger and frustrations of losing a team due to greed. Salute to all you Oakland A's fans out there 🙏🏼🙏🏼 Love your content Brodie and will continue to stay subscribed here on your channel. Wishing you the best man.
I really do love these players. Butler, Rooker, Miller, Langeliers etc it's been fun watching them improve each week. Although the organization doesn't deserve our continued support and loyalty i will definitely follow these players and support them just like the countless others who got let go from team before.
Brodie international viewer here, hope for the best for you, one of the best sources for inflrmation about all of the US. Sports, and dont worrt with your talent i know you will find more succesfull work somewhere else, keep it up man
I found your podcasts here in conjunction with the A's situation. You always provide thoughtful content, exploring in a balanced way. Recharge and relax for a bit! Anxious to see the next phase. Ciao.
I’m from Philly, and my heart broke for the A’s. Brodie, your professionalism on your videos is outstanding. Take all the time you need - you have a tremendous future ahead of you! Much brotherly love to you from Philly.
You have been a constant for us Brodie. Fair, compassionate and informative. I will follow you wherever you land. The immediate future? Ditto. Many of us are just wiped in all phases. The day of the final home game and about 12 hours after the final game period is when the enormity hit me. That despondent weight that our beloved relative was gone forever. Just the weight of pure sadness. Everyone needs to take time to process the grief. Me? My father and I only agreed on baseball. He took me to see The Bash Brother A's. My father died three years ago, and I am relieved that he never saw any of this happen. I remember when The Colts left Baltimore. It's been forty years and "Indianapolis" will always be wrong. But I hold most of that in my heart. Thank you, Brodie.
I only got to know your work while watching that Oakland Coliseum postgame broadcast. You may have lost that job, but you gained a new fan. I would definitely enjoy hearing more about Oakland baseball history and the attempted move. With that said, I hope to hear your commentary on all things MLB in the future.
At first, it was hard to put myself in your shoes (being a Royals fan), but then it occurred to me: This had to have been exactly how it felt to the A's fans in Kansas City back in 1967, when Charlie Finley relocated them to Oakland and a new (at the time) Coliseum. The shock of losing an old friend (even if the A's were only in KC for 13 seasons) was tough. I was only a young boy of 7 years at the time, but my father used to speak of it. It's always about money in the end; it was then, and it is now. Thank goodness, due to expansion, we got a new team in the Royals two seasons later.
As a hockey fan up in Seattle (Go Kraken) but who watches other teams broadcasts as well, I am going to miss hearing you on Sharks broadcasts in addition to your videos on the A's. You were one of the biggest supporters of the Sharks & I really hope that the Sharks consider hiring you for a role. Keep telling your stories & making videos. As for the 50K celebration, a livestream would be awesome to attend along with possibly a video with THG (The Hockey Guy).
Love you Brodie. The A's leaving never really hit me until I watched the last game at the coliseum, with your pre and post game included. I actually got a little emotional which I didn't expect. I'm 31 and I've been going to games all my life. My grandpa who took me to every game I've been before he passed was a fan since day one and even watched some world series games in that stadium. I will forever miss the Oakland A's as many fans will. I'll definitely keep watching your videos though, you're a cool dude.
I remember watching you back in 2012 when I was still in the Marine Corps. You covered the Oakland Coliseum transitioning from football to baseball. I went to that game too. Sunday was Raiders and Monday night was A’s game. Thank you so much Brodie. I wish you nothing but the best and I’d love for you to stay local. I wouldn’t have any hard feelings if you covered the Giants.
Just want to say thank you for the amazing years you’ve had with the Sharks! Brodie and Brownie intermission and post-game segments made going through this rebuild so much more fun to watch!
Randomly stumbled upon your TH-cam stuff up here in Canada and continued to follow -- Love your views & takes on all of sport, love your delivery of your messages. Wishing you all the best in the next chapter of your life.
Brodie, whatever you do, us fans will support you in your decision. I wish it would be a better outcome for you and all that is involved, we will support you whether it’s TH-cam or other ventures that you go into.
I agree with that heaviness, Brodie. I am 40 years old and have gone to A's games for as long as I can remember. I've never even been to a Giants game unless they were playing the A's. The A's are a part of my family culture, I've shared so many memories with people I love at the games, who have passed on... We were at the game September 24th celebrating my brother's birthday with his family and his kids and it was so incredibly sad. It's so weird to feel such a deep sense of loss about something so indescribable. It hurts deep. I was trying so hard to enjoy the game and just be present but I shed quite a few tears this last week.
Broadie, through this and the Coyotes you've proven yourself with adaptive to reporting the business side. Continue this, and we need a series on the history team owned airplanes.
Against all odds, have been A's fan from western New York since the 70's glory years. As you might expect, the A's are all but ignored here and I get many quizzical looks when I wear the green and gold gear. I dont want to pretend I am suffering as much as native Oaklanders, I have only been to 2 games in my 55 years thanks to my bay area family who sparked my fandom as a child. That said, I feel terrible as I do feel an emotional connection to the city because of my fandom and family I had from the area ( sadly , no longer with us). I say all this just to say thank you and your colleagues for keeping me informed and entertained in my remote outpost in Athletics nation and for making me feel connected to my adopted city. I cherish the two games I have attended in my life all the more now that I know I wont add to that total. The Coliseum may be considered the worst stadium in MLB...but it was and is the most beautiful place I ever seen. Thanks for everything and look forward to your next act.
Brodie u have handled this the best way possible. I know u have some hard feelings towards the oakland a's right now like we all do. However i hope u still pull for our team and keep the hope of staying in oakland alive
As a Sonics fan, the wounds do not heal quickly. But the best thing you can do is just keep wearing the gear, keep the memories and the idea of them coming back alive, keep the conversation going with like-minded people and sharing with others. Here in Seattle even though it's been like 16 years since the Sonics left, you might not know it because of how alive people have kept their legacy. So I think a podcast would be a great idea. Now it looks like we may be very close to getting them back soon, hopefully the same sort of thing can happen in Oakland.
Brodie, I’m so proud of you for handling everything with grace and dignity. I’m honored to be a fan of yours, and I look forward to seeing many more excellent stuff from you on your TH-cam channel. Please keep up the great work.
Brodie, I will miss seeing you on the pre/post Oakland A's/Sharks games. You are authentic, genuine, great on the mic, a real talent. I am sure you will find work for another sports franchise, if that's still something you want to continue. If I never see you on TV in the bay area market again, I just want to say thank you for the last 15 years. I will miss Stew, Bip, and Shooty as well. I will follow you on your channel wherever you go. Good luck and success on all your future endeavors.
Would love to hear from Vince, Dave, Bip, Dallas if he’s been let go, all of them unfiltered. In addition to them, would love to hear from members of the 2012-2014 core team, particularly players that have since retired, Coco, Reddick, Cespedes, Moss, Lowrie, Balfour. Earlier from when you started, it’d be great to hear from Eric Chavez, Mark Ellis, Nick Swisher, Gio Gonzalez, Jerry Blevins, Brad Ziegler, Andrew Bailey, Justin Duchscherer, Kurt Suzuki, there’s honestly so many possibilities, I can’t wait to see where this goes!
Thanks for the memories Brodie. If you ever want some additional content, I worked for the A's '88 to '90. Fun times working in The Visiting Clubhouse.
I will say I came for A’s content but you now overall are one my of favorite content creators on here. Always quality work. Appreciate your work and consistency
Brodie, I too mourn the loss of community in all this. It's an on-going open wound, which won't ever heal completely. I too am interested in how Mark Kotsay and the players do next season, although I told myself I was totally done with the team no matter what. I agree they are primed to have a decent season next year and I wish them well despite my/our animosity towards the powers that be. Thank you for your continuing coverage, we all feel your pain. Take care, my friend.
Always appreciate your perspective Brodie. I hope you get the kind of job you want or if it’s just this channel that’s great too. You’ll still be able to follow the A’s if you choose.
I’m gonna miss seeing you during sharks games Brodie. I’ll never forget when you coined the term ZetterGod, my brothers and I still get a kick out of that to this day.
Sure love all your work. Plus love your emotions and passions in all this. Just love you Brodie. Thank you for telling and keeping stories alive, informing us all along the way in the A’s stadium saga and for all your content. Always interesting! Thank you!!
Congratulations on the subscribers. For the 50k subs, I think we would like something similar to this video. Somewhat of an itinerary of goals you hope to have with this channel and give us an indication of some collaborations you're interested in having throughout the year.
Started following your comments on TH-cam about 9 months ago, when you covered the potential move of the A’s. First, I applaud your coverage of the saga; it was thorough and while a bit prejudiced it was very informative. Because you have been so involved in the A’s for the past 16 years, I hope you will continue to bring your coverage of the team. When I moved to the Bay Area in 2000, I began following the team and became a fan. I retired in ‘06 and moved to Lincoln CA and continue to follow the team. Your insightful comments and honesty need to continue. I realize many diehard fans are heartbroken but the A’s are special and deserve your continued coverage. Thanks
I totally understand your feelings because I feel the same. For me however, they are dead to me. I can't support something that not only doesn't love you back but went out of their way to hurt you. Cheers Brodie
You already know that I’ll keep following your TH-cam channel … I still remember your chats with Ahmed Fareed. Those were always fun to watch. I also remember your early days with your simple podcast / video set up; no background lighting, techy staff was out of sight (I think?) and no big, amazing sounding mic 🎙️ yet. The lights always catch my attention when I’m watching! 😊
As always, thanks for your forthrightness. I really wish you were able to say goodbye on the Sharks side of the house. I know your heart is with the A's, but your teal audience will miss you as well.
I would love to see a podcast where you, Casey Pratt, and Damon Amendalara all team up and review this whole saga. Wishing you the best Brodie, you're a favorite!
Brodie, whatever job you get in the future, you will excel at it. Brodie you are a highly motivated and dedicated person with an awesome work ethic. (Me personally) I hope you can get a job with one of the Arizona pro sports teams. I’m hoping to move out to Arizona, sometime next year. Brodie, I really appreciate you and Casey Pratt, covering Oakland and the A’s. I haven’t seen Casey recently on his social media page. I don’t know if you know, did he move on? Thank you Brodie for everything
50K subscribers! That’s a testament to your perpetration and production. You are one of the most professional independent TH-camrs. This is your accomplishment and you deserve a break. Take a vacation to Hawaii or something.
You and now college student Kasey should have your own podcast together. Talk about the A's, Sharks, bay area teams, etc. Plus current events in all of the sports. Discuss topics like whether Pete Rose should now be in the Baseball Hall of Fame. ......You are a class act. Noone has a bad thing to say about you. .....The bay areas loss is Seattle, Salt Lake, etc. or some other Cities gain. ......Thanks for introducing us to "The Hockey Guy.' I still can't follow the rules of Hockey very well. It's my 4th favorite sport to watch on tv. However in person nothing beats going to the Shark Tank. ....All the best Brodie. I hope you and Kasey are still in touch.
Thanks bro! I know the wounds are fresh (as they are for all of us), but are you gonna address the final post-game show stuff? What was the conflict? I mean, I know we all "know," but is that one of those important things to put out there and document to show the shrewdness of the ownership?
Aloha Brodie! Thank you for all the excellent coverage and everything you do! I’m a former CA resident and I’ve been an A’s fan since 1988. I loved every game I was able to attend, so many great memories! My husband only recently became an A’s fan because of me! We’ve been flying from Hawaii to Oakland for every home game since August and we were there for the very last game. My husband was even interviewed by several tv stations. I couldn’t bring myself to be on tv because I was too heartbroken to speak. Again, mahalo for everything and hope to see you again soon!
There were some special 20th anniversary stuff this past weekend around the Expos two decade absence from Montreal that the media covered. Sickening how both the A's and Expos were sabotaged
It's heartbreaking in both instances. Both teams were forced to sink like crippled ships, and proactive intervention or rescue attempts were prohibited. It is disgusting to see teams such as the A's and Expos cease to exhist, especially when you factor in their legacy and rich alumni. Both teams were also stuck playing in unfavorable home stadiums which both aged like a dinosaur. Very unfair.
Thank you Brodie for so many great memories over the years, where ever you land next it's gonna be good, a class person you are in every way, much love and good wishes to a person that made all of Our lives Better, See you and follow you in the Future, Thank You for Who you are. Great things Coming Your Way. SF A's fan since 1970. It will never be forgotten, great Memories.😊
I'd also love to hear stories from the opposing players, especially the ones from the 80s and 90s who faced those tough A's teams. Getting a visitor's look into the organization, the players, the fans, and the Coliseum... that could be a great way to fold in other fanbases while telling the story of the Kelly Green and Gold.

Brodie international viewer here, hope for the best for you, one of the best sources for inflrmation about all of the US. Sports, and dont worrt with your talent i know you will find more succesfull work somewhere else, keep it up man
Thank you know Brodie, you are a Class Act, I will root for you, Giants, or wherever!
I can seeing you doing a sports radio show. You are not condescending, and a good listen. We all need to move on!
BTW you are a lot more genuine than these guys on the east coast!
ATAWAY BRODIE...50000 subscribers CONGRATULATIONS !! YOU are the reason for each od those Subs
Good for you to take a break, losing a job you’ve been at for years is never easy. RIP to the Oakland A’s
I only got to know your work while watching that Oakland Coliseum postgame broadcast. You may have lost that job, but you gained a new fan. I would definitely enjoy hearing more about Oakland baseball history and the attempted move. With that said, I hope to hear your commentary on all things MLB in the future.
more live chats! Appreciate you Brodie!
I may be new here for a few months, but I like your commentaries and breakdowns! Hang in there, Brodie.
Thank you Brodie! Can't wait to see what comes next for you. Congrats on 50K subs!
You’re awesome bud. Keep on trucking’. 👍🏼
you need an MD-11 in your avatar...!
You are SO appreciated Brodie ❤
Just want to say thank you for the amazing years you’ve had with the Sharks! Brodie and Brownie intermission and post-game segments made going through this rebuild so much more fun to watch!
Randomly stumbled upon your TH-cam stuff up here in Canada and continued to follow -- Love your views & takes on all of sport, love your delivery of your messages. Wishing you all the best in the next chapter of your life.
Fan of yours from NJ! Sorry about your A's leaving Oakland
You are too good at this to go away.
Thanks for helping us through this last year and a half Brodie.
Thanks for your dedication to this TH-cam channel, I know it’s been a tough year.
Get some rest Brodie, it’s very well deserved. I’ll be excited for any future project you do.🤙🏼
Would love to hear from Vince, Dave, Bip, Dallas if he’s been let go, all of them unfiltered.
Thanks for using your platform to share your thoughts and show your feelings and letting us to the same. It helps. ✨️
Take some time Brodie, whatever you decide to do we will all be watching and rooting for you. Here is to 50 000 more subscribers!
Thx Brodie for helping me get through the last year, one chapter at a time.
Thank you Brodie!
COME TO CHICAGO AND COVER THE CUBS!
Brodi stickn with us nice try😂😂😂
I would make a series highlighting some of the most classic Oakland A's games of all times. Maybe invite former players on to discuss the history.
Thanks for the memories Brodie. If you ever want some additional content, I worked for the A's '88 to '90. Fun times working in The Visiting Clubhouse.
I can’t wait to see your next step in your career.
I like the "Beers with Brodie" idea. Great job this year! I know it was tough.
Always appreciate your perspective Brodie. I hope you get the kind of job you want or if it’s just this channel that’s great too. You’ll still be able to follow the A’s if you choose.
yes Brodie! we all need to chill and enjoy life in order to move on!
Brodie you are a class act I wish more people were like you.
Here if you need anything brodie. Hugs, a video editor, whatever you need my guy.
Big Congrats on 50k Brodie, a well earned milestone!
💚💛💚💛 the constant professional BRODIE whatever the future holds please know I'll follow the great work you do 💚💛💚💛
Started following your comments on TH-cam about 9 months ago, when you covered the potential move of the A’s.
Love your podcast and your pre and post game show. Thank you, Brodie!
You need to do an interview with Vuc. 54 years of A’s history and ask him about the retirement gift Seattle gave him. Thanks Brodie
love it!
Thanks Brodie! We appreciate you and wish you the best with all your new adventures!!
Whatever you choose to do Brodie, we have your back.
Hey man, wishing you bigger and better things as you take the next steps in your journey.
Thank you Brodie, just thank you. We move onto a new chapter of our lives
50K subscribers! That’s a testament to your perpetration and production. You are one of the most professional independent TH-camrs. This is your accomplishment and you deserve a break. Take a vacation to Hawaii or something.
Thanks Brodie, you definitely need some time off it’s been a stressful journey the past 2 years.Love to hear a segment on 1978 A’s an interesting team
I am sorry man.
Thanks bro! I know the wounds are fresh (as they are for all of us), but are you gonna address the final post-game show stuff? What was the conflict? I mean, I know we all "know," but is that one of those important things to put out there and document to show the shrewdness of the ownership?
Hope you stay in the bay . You have been so good to us, you are one of us . Thanks again Brodie . 👊🏽
Thank you Brodie
