I have no idea who any one of these I was just looking for a phone game I played on my dads phone when was a kid, but this Jason guy looks like he's constantly getting interrogated on LA Noire easy mode.
I used to have a phone with the old mobile port of Rock Band 2. However, I wasn't fond of the sounds, so often I would play with the volume on mute, and I would play by humming the song in my head. I recall one or two songs which I didn't even know the melody for, so I would have to make up a melody based on the notes seen.
I am so happy you brought up the backstage pass mobile game; I was looking for footage from that other day and was shocked once I remembered that no guitar hero/rb game ever capitalized on adding mechanics like that to a full console game; that unironically would have been awesome additions Also trying to explain it to my freinds with hypercompressed midi sounds was hilarious; I remember playing the demo/lite version of gh3 backstage pass in 2008 or something in a movie theatre on my sony ericson
I still haven't beaten Guitar Hero III: Backstage Pass beyond the tutorial tasks but I should get back into that sometime. I documented whole walkthrough guides for the Backstage Pass on the WikiHero last year, which took me at least two or three months due to how complex they were but Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile: Backstage Pass was more linear and shorter that it was easier to document everything about Guitar Hero World Tour Mobile: Backstage Pass. I sadly never had a regular cellphone to play Guitar Hero Mobile games back in the day so I started playing them for the first time ever a few years ago on emulators.
@@ThunderDragonRandy Thats impressive! Like I mentioned I never had the full game; being a 12 or 13 year old doesnt net much in the world of buying cell phone games in 2008 😅
Guitar Hero iOS on my 4th gen iPod touch was my entry into the Guitar Hero series. It may or may not be one of the worst GH games but I'm still thankful for it being released back then as I wouldn't write this comment if they hadn't.
The iOS games will only run on devices that support 32-bit apps. The iPhone 5S was the first 64-bit iPhone. 64-bit iPhones running iOS earlier than 11.0 can run 32-bit apps, those updated to 11.0 or newer cannot run them. 64-bit iPhones that shipped with iOS 11 or newer will never run 32-bit apps. I *think* if you previously bought the games, and you're using a compatible device, I'd *think* the servers would let you download them (at least the base games, DLC content probably not so much). iOS 11 or newer will refuse to let you download them.
For some reason I could get the ios rock band game to work on a 6.1.6 Ipod Touch 4 but not guitar hero, no matter which I installed it's crash eventually (and the cracked one was scuffed graphically haha)
@@JoshwantsmaccasCharts the Guitar Hero game is probably crashing due to connecting to a server that no longer exists, airplane mode should fix that. RB Reloaded real vocals also crashes on too new of an iOS version due to a difference in microphone access permissions.
@@aWiseMoose get it jailbroken and the meats does indeed have everything you need (if there's DLC not there it's because we don't have it preserved and I would like to ensure we have all of it eventually)
@@LocalAitch I ended up adding some extra files with the DLC and it fixed it so idk what was causing it originally 🤣 haven't tried vocals yet so we'll see if that happens tho being on 6.1.6 I doubt it'll be an issue
where is the ini file for what they are talking about around 1:06:30? and what is that file called? i checked my install directory and AppDate/Local but coudnt find that option in any of the ini files i found there.
I just started playing Festival on Monday night now that the school year is over. Don’t have a Riffmaster or compatible guitar playing on PS4 (because I’m planning to buy a pc soon ™️) so I’ve been playing the standard charts. And I’m really enjoying it! I’ve been listening to the pod since the beginning, so I’ve been aware to how it plays and all that. I got my first FC last night on Come & Go Lead chart. I can’t believe Harmonix got me to install Fortnite 😅 I don’t really care for BR so I never had a reason to play it until you guys talked about Festival. Tomorrow’s song drop is gonna kick ass!
The only games on my phone nowadays are just choice of games lol. I used to have fun, silly games but yeah those kinds of games aren't made anymore and long incompatible with modern phone OSs
You Don't Know Me is the worst grinding experience ever. I'm still mad. 😂 Thanks for the shoutouts this episode!

I will say, the game started feeling better once input numbers were figured out.

8:25 Can you explain how to do this? I’ve been meaning try this for awhile with my controllers but I didn’t think it was possible
The only guitar you can do this on is a GH5 guitar. Every other model is incompatible with Wii necks.
The meats doesn’t have the iOS games anymore :(
they're under Guitar Hero Games or Rock Band Games under the iOS folder
