It does recognize the ROM either on the cartridge or SD slot and presents it by the name associated with it. For the Roms on the SD, it just displays the name of the ROM title.
I think you are having a brain fart 😅 you can change the aspect in a/v settings, what you was doing was going on game settings. Tbf i dont know how anyone can play retro games stretched @@WickedGamerCollector
Nope, the only other way is to flash roms through a microSD card via the microSD port and just load em from there. Also flash cartridge won't be recognize cause they contain no rom datas. An emulation console used emulators to read the rom data from a cartridge game and dump it into the system then allows for that rom to run on the system. A flash cartridge replace rom data with a card reader and that card reader won't be recognize by the emulator. On a regular clone console or native system, the card reader on a multicart or flash cartridge could easily trick those systems into thinking it's a multi cartridge game but on emulation that can't be done. It's the same reason why the Super Game Boy will only work on native or clone consoles but not on an emulation console cause the Super Game Boy doesn't had rom data for the GB game in it but instead feature a cartridge slot reader and that cartridge slot reader won't be recognize on emulator. If you insert a Super Game Boy with a GB game on this thing, only the Super Game Boy bio screen will load but not the actual GB game in it.
