They have a Alabai head boerboel body 😂 I keep my dogs on a diet from puppies, a large dog or oversized dog is a dead dog. My first mastiff was a English he passed at 81/2, way to short. Many may not think about lifespans but with large dogs you have to keep that in mind and do what you can to keep them fit and health
I met my first American Mastiff today, his name is Duke. He's HUGE. Usually I'd go up to a dog to pet it but this was a big damn dog. Turns out Duke was a big ol' push over. Even tried to zoom around the bar. Beautiful dogs, they get really big though lol
I’m a working dog fan, regardless of breed or mix. Making your own breed/line is not as easy as some would think. Definitely flashy looking dogs that would appeal to many pet owners. If they are health tested and don’t have crappy mastiff nerves then its actually a good thing for pet homes. So they stop buying dogs they can’t manage
i dont think they're properly health testing the one year old female she showed had hanging enlarged nipples so she has already been bred before you should heath test dogs after 3 years to safely breed them :(
Because it's some made up bullshit to make a quick buck. "breeders" will call it a rare breed and charge 5k for it but don't know anything about genetics. You can tell when plthey start describing coat types instead of what it's actually supposed to do, or what are some inherited genetic traits. There's no breed standard. I wont blindly support someone creating dogs with no consideration to health and ethics. I don't care if its pretty. These are living things. We shouldn't act like they are nothing but business and dollar signs to us. The animal wellbeing and health should ALWAYS come first. Don't you understand these actions have an effect on other living things, including people? What happens when someone's piebald merle has mdr1 deformity and dies from common medication? What happens when dogs are mated before they are tested for health problems, and you buy a puppy for it to die of a heart defect in a couple weeks? She's running a get-rich-quick on these dogs, and people don't nor should respect that.

I agree Chris. Will absolutely take a CC over this. Working dogs should be functional and since she didn't mention what exactly they do, it is not for me!
@@candacehood9864 yeah weird. They could have sold dogs with this video but I gotta say it was a turn off for me.
100 % these dogs structure is too short and stumpy to be a true working dog..CC allday
But tell me this. Why would I want this breed when I have a Kane Corso? I have speed, agility, strength and the 2nd strongest bite force in the canine kingdom. And with all due respect, you said a whole bunch of nothing.
This woman is to busy sounding her own horn 🎺
Not a big fan. Seems like a mixed breed to me and that’s all.
Bro she said they created it.
Help me out. Does every breed start out mixed?
@@TonyNFG0 obviously. But this sounds like a grab a Pitbull, chihuahua, and retriever and then I call it a breed after a few times I did it. Nothing else, nothing more.
@@agentmartagentmart9122 🤣🤣🤣😂😂 lmao. Ok I gotcha 😂😂😂
@@kidslovesatan34 Not really in this case.
I love Dogumentary .....but this imo sounds wrong. Not sure it should be promoted.
May I ask why creating a new breed is bad? You know pretty much all dogs that we know today have been created right?
Looks like fancy coloured XL American Bully's to me, although not as structurally correct.
XXL bully
its basically just bully and cane corso mix
Not sure when the term "designer dog" was coined, but we use to call mixed breed dogs mutts. Guess "designer dog" is a way of getting people to pay big money for experimental breeding.
IKR; everything old is new again.
Lol. You are so right. Nice looking dogs but they are mutts.
🤔 I’m seeing an American xxl Bully and a Catahoula Bulldog crossed to a Neo Mastiff.
I really appreciate all the hard work and love that these people have put into this breed. I am thoroughly impressed. Great job!!!
You are beautiful.
I mean this respectfully. So... just pretty colored mastiff type dogs/Bandogs... Although can't even call it a bandog if it doesn't work.
As always though, lovely video!
The way they focused on colors is cringeworthy. Already a massive love letter to backyard get-rich-quick breeders.
@@TheBurrito171 Yes! That dog that was a red merle, bridle, piebald something something I was like... lady.... really?
@Snoozer Vine it looks exactly that, pretty mastiffs
that is 100% not a bandog
@@chrispretty7398 it’s not a mastiff either
Love that video ❤
Hellhound, one third Irish Wolfhound, one third hunting bred Airedale terrier and one third game Pitbull terrier
i like how dog snobs call every new breed a mutt.....as if all your favourite so called pure breds aren't some kind of mutt that got "standardised"
I know all that hate they put out
I believe the foundation stock for these is the Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldog, American Bully, Bulldog, Cane Corso, Neapolitan Mastiff, Olde English Bulldogge, and Shar-Pei.
Sounds right but what is the breed 's job?
@@mikemcmanus3918 likely the same jobs mastiffs held historically. Guard dogs, war dogs, or hunting dogs.
To clarify; Mostly Mastiff. The Bull-Type Terrier (American Bully) could be used as a blood sport dog.
American bulldog in it for sure
Great dane for sure because the harlequin/merle gene
Another example of some breeders thinking "bigger is better.". I'll pass and get a rottie. Big and strong enough.
Exactly. Just get a rottie. High intelligence, loyal, family dog.
You mean fatter*...
So a consistent look thats always evolving 🤣 got it. I respect what you do to the utmost...but these folks sound kinda clownish
Looks like a shorter thicker version of a cane Corso with exotic colors and less drive
In Italy we usually call this "anothere american thing..."
The bigger they are the shorter the lifespan, unfortunately.
If the color description is longer than the breedname ....im good ✌️
Your Verizon of a Rottweiler might not be mine
A Rottweiler is a Rottweiler 😂
I met my first American Mastiff today, his name is Duke. He's HUGE. Usually I'd go up to a dog to pet it but this was a big damn dog. Turns out Duke was a big ol' push over. Even tried to zoom around the bar. Beautiful dogs, they get really big though lol
I wish the captions worked for this video because this is something new to me I've never heard of this breed before.
Cane corso proud family member here!
Cane corso x American bully
Look like a mashup of mastiffs and bully type dogs. I see cane corso, maybe XL bully, boerboel, Neopolitan mastiff, and some more
I’m a working dog fan, regardless of breed or mix. Making your own breed/line is not as easy as some would think. Definitely flashy looking dogs that would appeal to many pet owners. If they are health tested and don’t have crappy mastiff nerves then its actually a good thing for pet homes. So they stop buying dogs they can’t manage
i dont think they're properly health testing the one year old female she showed had hanging enlarged nipples so she has already been bred before you should heath test dogs after 3 years to safely breed them :(
Exactly 🙌🏻
Definitely alot of neopolitian mastiff.
Never heard of these …..
Me either! Looks like Corso and Neos. With the Merle coloring I’m guessing Dane is in there, too.
Notice how often she says "get a consistent look", but also "they can do anything that any other dog can do". That's nonsense.
@@AAJ90 definitely what you said. ^ 16 years is nothing. No type at all, bred for color and size. Not saying she’s a bad person but come on. There are lots of breeds who already fit this. Like the Neo.
@@cjd5235 this is an extension of the American Bully/Presa/Cane Corso craze. Which is basically a tough looking version of the doodle craze. I don't get it.
Whatever you're looking for in a breed already exists. Except fancy made up coat types. "Tawny Harlequin Piebald Merle" get outta here with that.
@@AAJ90 😂 you’re killing me with the tough doodle. I’m using that for my groomers , and trainers friends. Doodles are the worst. Paying 5K for a mutt is crazy. Even if it has a fancy name. I’ll pay it for a health tested purebred but not for a designer “breed”. I complete in rally, scentwork, FastCat with my dogs.
I like this breed, it looks beautiful
Great video , but i wish if the music a little bit lower
The dog’s muzzle is a bit short but nothing like a Boxer, Bullmastiff or a Bulldog. Does the NAM have trouble with heat and humidity like the three dogs I mentioned?
Definitely have Great Dane in it... How else would you explain the Merle and Harlequin? Definitely see corso Napolitan too
high set curled tail is a bordeaux trait....i look at it everyday....this looks like a bordeaux with a dane head and coloring
Alapaha Blue Bulldog
@@mcprillaman yes some have french mastiff and alapaha in them hence my dog in the pic
@@mrstl3000 I have a 9 month old male DDB so I recognized that backend and tale
@@mcprillaman u were spot on
Napolitan Mastin and a American Bulldog and pum you have a new breed
My guess is Anatolian kangal or alabai, South African mastif, maybe bull or English mastif. I missing a breed maybe one or two more, I see blue, box and wrinkled heads, Neapolitan maybe, either way great work truly. I need to do more research, but I am thinking of getting one or pair. Maybe in a year or two, they look magnificent.
Brings out the first dog because of his color and then tells me they can work
AKC shaking their head right now
I believe these dogs also have Catahoula in them based off of the Merle and Eye colors
Could be Dane
I would bet it comes from the Alapha blue blood bulldog which gets it from the catahoula, just a guess though
@@kyanbuchanan3897 correct it's the alpha blue blood bulldog my dog in the pic is from them

Since I was 5 years old
That dog has Dane and corso in it 100%
I'd take an alabai, kangal or mix or a presa.
Basically a Banddog
Dogo is the ultimate dog. These dogs are nice.
I like Dogo.. I think Amstafs . But I like your opinion
I interested. Where can I get one?
What’s up with all the hate? Why can’t we just support one another? One of my goals in breeding is to create a beautiful new breed for everyone to love. I hope I don’t get scolded the way this woman has smh

@@rileyrenee9916 Bringing in genes that import blindness, deafness, eye deformities, autoimmune issues, and lower lifespan because they come with profitable colors is not how you create a healthier mastiff. And looking at the awful structure on those dogs, they will also have serious musculoskeletal problems. Excess skin for more skin problems and cherry eye is the cherry on top.
