I was barely able to see it but this is the one with “Hengst” on the filter housing. The one with “UFI” takes a different filter and your parts store is likely to get it wrong. Even the owner’s manual gets it wrong where it specifies filter type by engine. The same engine can have either type in different Encores of the same year model (I assume it’s related to differing emissions requirements between states).
I believe it takes exactly 5 quarts of oil sorry I don't have the car anymore so that's my best idea off the top of my head. With the old oil you should pour it in the container that the new oil came in and go to a car parts store because most of them take used oil. Take care and g'luck with the mechanic work.
don't like talking much in videos, helps me concentrate to make sure the job is done correctly along with recording it as well. sorry, can't please everyone👍👍
yes, the orange band is the seal for the oil filter housing and i believe all of the new oil filters should come qith a new o-ring which is what the orange band is called.@@godswill7484

What oil filter did u use
it was a wix oil filter, would have bought a k and n filter but didn't have the extra money at the time.
When you removed the orange band on the filter do you need to replace it everytime you have and oil change?
