Getting doctors to take yu seriously is a challenge these days. We have to really advocate for ourselves but that’s challenging too when they don’t listen. It’s no fun
i had a lot of the symptoms you mentioned, i put it all down to menopause etc, when i eventually went to see my doctor and they ran blood tests i was diagnosed with type 2 diabetis . Now i feel much better and most things i thought was menopause was all down to my blood sugars, so definatly get checked out
Thank you for doing this topic. I have experienced it a lot. I have been tested. Everything is fine. My husband is diabetic so he could see the symptoms before I did. I take cinnamon. It really helps me.
Well that has made my health anxiety even worse this morning. I dont have all these symptoms and they seem to come and go based on my stare of mind . If my anxiety is bad , yes some of them , then if I am occupied, no.
Hi Eileen! I am really struggling with this. I recently started getting the intense hunger with sweats and nausea. Do you think vegan overnight oats recipes would also not be good for the morning? The source of sugar in the recipe is a fruit jam (ingredients are rolled oats, unsweetened soy milk, ground flax, almond butter, cocoa powder, almond extract, cherry jam, and greek yogurt). I was originally planning to eating this as a healthy breakfast alternative--but what do you think?
Sounds yummy! This has got a good mix of protein, healthy fats and carbs so should be fine. Maybe just very little jam. Try it for a few days and see how you get on! Best Wishes Eileen
Thank you so much for taking the time to address my question, Eileen! I always appreciate your advice. Things are a lot easier to manage thanks to your informative videos and advice! Hope you had a great holiday!@@AvogelCoUk
I kept getting constipated and the elimination process was really painful, like wind and bloating and really slow movements so i have increased the fibre and so on, im seeing a difference no more constipation but, the same process of sluggish bowels is still happening. Im in year 7 post menopause and wondering when on earth if ever this will improve? The bloating i cant understand as i eat cleNly, eat twice or 3 times a day and all real foods, drink just over the right amounts of water and no alcohol drugs etc etc really simple diet. I do the abdominal soft massaging too and it helps a bit. Thank you 🙏
Digestion issues are really common and often caused by falling oestrogen slowing down digestion and elimination and this in turn can result in bloating. You seem to be doing everything right but you may find drinking a bit more water helpful and reducing carbohydrates such as bread, pasta, rice etc. as these are often the main culprits for bloating! Best Wishes Eileen
I take vitamin d magnesium tablets and turmeric with black pepper tablets and optibic every day probiotics plus b twelve tablets l drink ginger tea and plenty of water and cranberry juice thank you eillieen thank you ♥️🌹
I used to get angry before I ate and then after I ate I was fine, but now it seems like it comes after I eat. So I will write down my food list I will try those.

They absolutely do not listen. There's no way they can make an accurate diagnosis if they do NOT listen !
Yup. I had to literally BEG for blood work to be done.
@@ArtisticMysticSoul me too! I have to keep asking for tests
Us women go through alot! Protein has bc my best friend bc since starting perimenopause, i've been more hungry. Trust me, u need it! Thanx Eileen. ❤

That's great advice, thank you! Diabetes developing is quite common in the menopause so a health check can be a valuable tool
