Thank you so much for all these videos...without this, i wouldn't have a clue about what is going on...love all your advice, such a big help so thank you 🥰🥰
I have hyper feeling but yet drop things like my brain doesn't know to hold on, no connection between the two, but yet I can feel a hair on the inside of my shirt against my skin.
I’m 58 now, but when I was around 45/6 I started to get dreadful body ache. The only way I could describe it to my doctor, family and friends was that it’s like the pain of flu. I’m on codeine and have been for years, because I can’t handle how bad it gets. I’m hypothyroid too which also gives the flu type body ache. I feel ill most of the time.
I use cotton buds & oil them with olive oil and Chinese bamboo ear pick from amazon or etsy or Chinatown (it’s heaven scratching the walls of the ear and that clean feeling is so nice too)
@@giselsilva I’m Asian so I’ve been using it since I was a kid. I use it everyday or every so often I have very clean ears never had wax 😄 It is most satisfying when you have the itch. Start by doing like a gentle scraping action around the opening of the ear and when you get familiar with your ear canal you can go deeper inside. The sensation will let you know how far you can go. Start outside by the opening and work your way in scraping action. You’ll get what I mean when you start to do it.

I love and look forward to my Monday mornings with Ms. Eileen. Always great info ❤ I have had so many symptoms that I forget some of them and I love this cause I hear you and I’m like “yes! I remember that one too” 😂😂 there are so many we forget so these are great reminders!! One question, so I haven’t had a period in one full year and one month now, so this makes me post menopausal correct? It’s all so confusing I’m not sure what’s what 🤷🏻♀️ Have a wonderful week ladies ❤
Hi Janet Great to hear that you find the vlogs helpful, thank you! If you are over 50 years, you are considered post menopause after one year. If under 50, then we say 2 years as it's more common to get a period/periods back after a year or more. Best Wishes Eileen
My main issue with perimenopause is the brain. What is the difference between forgetness in the menopause stages snd eatly demencia ? How could we not freakout ? Any advice. My doctor doesnt even listen yo me. I am45. Thank you!
This is a really difficult question to answer as it can be hard to differentiate between the two, however menopause brain fog/forgetfulness often comes and goes rather than being present all the time. Some areas have memory clinics which you can pop along to and get a basic test so that might put your mind at rest. Best Wishes Eileen.
I started to notice I’ve gripping issue early this year. Sometimes, it gets worsen but sometimes it’s fine. My fingers are painful when I am trying to squeeze towels or doing tasks with my fingers 😮
Thank you so much! Very important information on these strange symptoms. I’ve felt those breast pains and chest pains too. Is b complex better than b12?
Hi Aideen As long as you have not been diagnoses with a B12 deficiency, then a complex is better, a good level would be a B50mg Complex. Best Wishes Eileen
Hi I have been taking a vogel sage tablets for years they are great...extreme stress related to family stuff felt as bad as when I first took menopause I was very despairing so have also started a vogel menopause support after a month really feel benefit. ..hot flushes only one a day...mood is better ...feel calmer and coping better so pleased..due to bad migraines couldn't be perscribec hrt
Hi Alysia Have you tried a magnesium supplement? This can often help ease aches and pains, approx 200mg twice a day, 2nd dose with your evening meal. Also check that you're drinking plenty of plain water every day to avoid dehydration Best Wishes Eileen
I'm always surprised that you only say to drink 1.5 litres a day. I drink 3.5-4 litres a day and would feel really dehydrated if I didn't. I drink 1 litre before I even get out of bed in the morning.
Hi For most people, 1.5 litres seems a lot so we don't want to make it sound an impossible task! It does sound as if your body needs this amount but, too much for some people could cause excess loss of water soluble vitamins through urine Best Wishes Eileen
Hi Lauren You may find seeing a Chiropractor helpful. They can check to see if anything is out of line and offer a treatment plan for you. Acupuncture can often be helpful for pain management as well Best Wishes Eileen
Could be a frozen shoulder developing. I had this a couple of years ago, and the pain was excruciating. I think it's linked to low estrogen levels. This was before I started on hrt patches. I found that a gel with ibuprofen helped. The chiro helped but only up to a point and was expensive. I then went for physio through my work and it got better.
Hi Julie Medical intervention would be where the doctor advises either prescribed medications or medical treatment of some kind rather than going down the natural remedy route Best Wishes Eileen
@@AvogelCoUk Oh, very curious indeed! (I just looked up "nonenol", and Wikipedia puts it under the heading entry of "Old person's smell"!) (I've previously seen documentaries on people who smell like fish.)
Yes the spatial thing is real. I am dropping everything. My big one is hitting everything, including people with my shopping cart. I have knocked over displays. :)
I've not heard of this as a specific menopause symptom but we do know that changes to posture due to bone weakness could affect the spine which could have a knock on effect right through the body. You may find seeing a Chiropractor to be of benefit. Changes to nerve strength could also be a factor. Best Wishes Eileen
Breast pains are really common at the start of the menopause but if this has been going on for a long time or is constant then it is important to check with your doctor as well Best Wishes Eileen

Can you still have periods every 28 days an be in perimenopause?
Yes, many women find that their periods stay exactly the same but they then start to experience other menopause symptoms alongside.

Can this just be stopped by hrt
It really depends on what exactly is causing the symptoms as to the best treatment
