- Haulover Inlet in Florida is a popular spot for experienced boaters seeking a thrill. Known for its challenging conditions and strong currents, the inlet connects the Atlantic Ocean to the Intracoastal Waterway and is famous for its rough waves and strong winds, which can make boating hazardous. Despite the risks, many boaters are drawn to the inlet's challenging conditions and the opportunity to navigate through it.

Best of the whole series ever, that little single outboard at 07:15 . These people have no fear at all.
Headed back to Cuba
It was my first time going through haulover lol, boat is a 1988 sea N sport 16 (getting painted this week)
That little bugger is a blast I will say
We are indeed fearless
@@1deceewe was on our way but coast guard stopped us
Guy looks exactly like the guy i would expect to rent a Jet Car....
The boat at 07:12 is beautiful, well played Skip . With regards to anyone hanging over the bow of one of the bigger vessels , they are idiots with a death wish.
Thank you! It is my first boat and will continue to improve over time.
Dangerous = Fun
there is so much money down there its crazy!
Why does that Lekker boat look so much like a bathtub lmfao
They are amazing boats and you tend to forget where you are as they are really stable and dont look like anything else you've been out in.
The hull form reminds me of a lifeboat. Not a bad thing, but definitely unique.
because it has the hull of a lifeboat, but the speed of a speedboot they are known for this in the netherlands
Those jet cars remind me too much of the little race car beds to take seriously. They are laughable and I'm amazed people buy or rent them.
They definitely have confidence issues
They definitely know their target customer.
I also can't get over the amount of wealth down in Miami. It's just dripping with money considering how expensive many of these yachts are. I wonder how often the owners actually take their vessels out. Or charter them and try and make some money back on such an expense. Just the cost of fuel alone must be mind boggling.
I saw a comment on one of these channels that 70% of the boats were hire boats. So people are hiring an image of wealth.
I agree. The amount of money floating thru this spot is crazy. Just the cost of 4 of those engines is greater than any boat I will ever own.
80% of it is most likely drug money .🤠
$350 per hour for a strap-on water car is not enough. I wouldn't do it for less than $500 per hour to compensate me for the humiliation.
Seeing that Mako captain not have a simple rubber holder for the antenna so that it doesn't bounce around hurts my brain. The first thing my dad and I did on his 21 foot deep V hull Trophy with a single mercury 150 was go through and try to impact proof the instruments/antennae. The impacts those boats take are kinda nuts if you mess up going over a wave.
Ever notice people in boats just want to wave to everyone. Then they get in a car , and flip everyone the bird.
Here is the secret: The camera operator waves first.
2:35 Yellow ski's unsafe antics are how people make the news
It's interesting seeing so many folks without life jackets. Going at those speeds, if you were knocked off the boat, hitting the water can be like hitting pavement. Easily knocking yourself out.
Hi there !!Is it common in Florida to see people boating without life jackets? It's not required by law. Is it where you live?
@@BoatZone In the EU it's a mishmash, generally you have an obligation to carry but not to wear, except for underage children, but there are places like Croatia where if your boat can exceed 20 knots (23 mph) you have to wear one, but going fast in an infamous inlet to opean sea, common sense should be the law that makes you wear it.
At least they are wearing their safety g-strings 🤔
Looks like a nice gathering of Darwin award contenders
Video so smooth; thought was there 🤙💪
Beautiful boats and yachts. Thank you for the video. I hope there was enough life jackets for all the people on board the boat with all the people partying.
The antennae should have been locked at least a foot above the t-top. Qualified Captain.
Nice
Also its crazy seeing how flat it can be out at Haulover when the tide isnt ripping in or out. Really highlights how stupid some of the people going through are.
The irony of asking if someone can get a fine for having their legs dangle over their boat, while watching the Government flying a chopper and a solider dangling his legs out of the aircraft how many feet in the air🤣
ColumbiaBeard in the red Renegade gets bitchslapped on camera. His parents must be proud!
Is bow riding legal there? It's illegal all over Australia because people get hurt & some fall off & go into the prop or hit by boat. 2:40 the fool PWC rider would have just lost his licence & got a massive fine for that.
I will say it again, I think its far more dangerous to speed through an inlet than riding on the bow.
If I knew you were filming I would spend the $350 and give ya a show !
jetcar looks like a 16 foot rowboat with a fiberglass car body laid on top of it
GYATT
Only if they could engineer it so it looked like the wheels were turning. lol 😎
Luckily it didn't happen. But if that guy hanging off the bow caught a good size wave and he got slapped down. He'd surely have some injuries or even fall into the water and go under the boat. So yeah i think it should be a fine just for reckless boating etiquette. I know we'd get one up where i live.
I was like "That's a fake thumbnail for sure!" 😆
totally real :)
1:22. No. 2:37. Some guy is facing jail time for doing this to his friend on a lake in Alabama. 2:50. Yes. 5:22. Rolling J's 😁. (6)450R's insane.
rolling j is better than cigarettes

sailing a rubber ducky in Haulover takes a special kind of bravery
Wow
I used to work on the Chinooks in Vietnam
If you want to look like a tool, rent a jet car. Plus $350 an hour!! What does a normal jet ski rent for….I would’ve thought $60hr $100max.
The stupidity of some of these “captains” and passengers never fails to impress me.
I’m absolutely flabbergasted at the blatant disregard for boat safety and etiquette shown here! That would not be tolerated up here in Alaskan waters(ps) you’d freeze your rear end for one thing🥶 Anyway because of our cold/dangerous waterways strict rules apply (ie) Life Jackets! It’s too bad that your warm weather rear around is taken for granted when it comes to safety (especially of children)
i would love to see approx values of these boats.
I swear i thought the image from the video was a click bait ahahahhah
1:23 just when you think you've seen everything ingnorant in this world...
3:51....did anyone else notice the similarities between the boat @ this time mark & the boat authorities identified & seized earlier today that was allegedly involved in the horrific tragedy that occurred on Mother's Day in Biscayne Bay? I'm going off memory and wasn't thinking about that tragedy until a few seconds later...stopped, replayed.... Anyway, I have no idea but did appear similar IMO... Truly a heart breaking story
That guy on the Zodiac needs to put a shirt on or sunscreen his back is lobster red
It looks like that guy strapped a motor to his toy racecar bed... It's gonna be a lot more than $350 if he sinks that thing in the inlet.
JetCar is a thing. Look 'em up!
We just saw it, we believe they exist
Only one specific type of person would own one of those boats that looks like a car.
6:00 Mr. Krabs 🌞🦞
9:29 bathtub
@2:24
Jet car…only in the US…I would be ashamed seen in it
He could try slowing down so his wife and toddler do not get theirs brains beat out. Also, on at least two videos you guys say that Yamaha started building boats in 1960 in TN. That can't be correct.
$350 an hour?? Too rich for my blood.😲
put the antenna UP
legs over the front is stupid. should there be a fine, yes, who gets the fine, captain or Mr Stupid is the only debate. I would say captain as they are responsible for all souls on board. His call.
So the boat at 4:16 is just a really big jet ski huh?!
the robalo obviously wins . Lady Nina is pretty tho.
I can say from a lifetime of boating experience 30% of the people behind the wheel of a boat have no clue of what they are doing..
Considering a brand new, 2024 fully loaded SeaDoo GTX Limited 300 is $20K, the water sports car is INSANELY OVER PRICED. Not to mention that the SeaDoo would smoke a water sports car in a race. No contest. It would leave it in the dust.
kids neck
Right! That's thing I noticed don't understand why people take their young kids in a boat when your going to be bouncing it like that, poor child. People can be so dumb honestly.! Really hope this child was ok after all that.
These young people have no common sense you get tossed out of the boat going that fast and hit your head. You’re done and not a one of them had a life vest on.
As a retired USCG Warrant Officer and former Boarding Officer, sitting on the bow with legs hanging over the side is referred to as “Bow Riding” not only is is stupid and dangerous it is a fineable infraction. The operator can be fined, depending on their attitude their voyage can also be “Terminated” requiring returning to the dock. It can carry a hefty fine as well.
I think if anyone gave resistance just show them pictures of those who have fallen forward and underneath a moving vessel.
Always reminds of that old Buffett song about manatees with prop scars
Wow, Sgt Maj Fun!
Guys like you are the reason the Coast Guard is loved by civilians and so respected by other branches of the armed services😂.
Too bad they are all to busy trying to secure there next batch of drugs to distribute to the military and other government officials. It is a fact the military uses methamphetamine, how else would you get young people to become psychopath killers
They have lots-o-balls at ebb tide, eh????
Where are all the women captains?
9:30 Designed after a bathtub 🤢
11:12 😂poor guy was down an outboard and didn’t want to be seen on video with it trimmed up so he slowed down to trim it down and…. 🤣😂🤣
6:08 You might want to put on a shirt or some sunscree... too late.
50% car 50% boat 100% useless
Could you receive a fine for having someone with their legs over the bow while entering the inlet? I don't know but entering or leaving the inlet with your legs over the bow is a great way to have them both broken if the bow drops and gets slammed with a wave while the boat's in motion.
Darwin award winner wannabe right there. Start with broken legs, then get knocked out and unable to swim ...
helicopter was cheating, didn't even touch the waves.
350/hr for an underpowered jet ski. The seadoo speedsters were much better
Not a car, lol. Boat named "car".
Why would someone wear a hoodie on a boat during the summer. Are people really this stupid.
hmm, well, I can think of about 20 things off the top but will keep it short...SKIN CANCER...MEDICATION(S) PERHAPS...Specific Disease states....these are just a few of the health related THERE ARE NUMEROUS LEGIT REASONS...DEFINITELY FAR FROM STUPID... but based on your comment seems some are close to ignorant...
ps. If curious, NO...I have never worn a hoodie while on a vessel during late spring...summer...or fall
$350 to be humiliated like a clown...😂😂😂😂
