So true. She does a lot of restaurants, museums, festivals. But she digs into history, scenery. I can't stop subscribing. Yesterday I watched her in Tirana, Albania.
I totally get that! I’ve lived in different cities and it’s crazy how easy it is to overlook the cool spots in your own backyard. After watching this, I’m inspired to explore my local area more. Thanks for the reminder!
I was lucky enough to visit Calgary and Banff, etc. 7 years ago when Canada was celebrating her 150 years birthday. Regret I didn’t go up to the Calgary Tower to see the fantastic views of the city!I’m going to visit ZhangJiaJie in China next week, and I’ll be looking for your footprints there!😅😅😅 Again, good luck to your relocation in Bulgaria!🎉🎉🎉
Harriet and I been to Calgary many times. Always enjoy our time there. Thank you Alina for taking us on this beautiful tour, It's all an update for us. What an art scene. The Stampede is always a great take in. Love it. Sending you much love❤❤ and affection from Harriet, Jim and Yuki Richmond, Va.
"Alina Mcleod, your content is always refreshing and engaging! I love how you share your experiences and insights, making travel feel accessible and inspiring. Keep up the fantastic work; I’m excited to see what you have in store for us next!"
Is like a travel to Canada in just one video. I really enjoy the way you explain the Culture and traditions in Calgary. Problably I will consider to go on Vacations. 😊
Some really nice new additions to the city : library, stampede museum, etc. I always loved Stampede rodeo & grandstand show. Txs for showing the new stuff.
Yeah, you are right! People should take more of what I call "Near Home" vacations. Sometimes I go just 30-100 miles or so, from home, stay in a hotel, and check out the local sites.❤🙂
I'm a BC transplant living in Saskatoon. I still have more to check out in my city...not to mention the neighbouring Provinces. Looking forward to visiting Alberta.
@@agentm83 I'm an American obsessed with Montana and Alberta! Alina has a video on the Royal Tyrell Museum of Paleontology in Alberta. I still love dinosaurs even as a grown man.😆
Hi Alina! 😁🙏👋✨🌟 I hope your having a wonderful day! This is really a fantastic super magnificent video! The hat looks really marvelous Alina! 🤠👍❤️👏📹🇨🇦🥇💯💫✨🌟 The city of Calgary looks so amazing! Also the Sam Centre, the Confluence Historic Site & Parkland and the Contemporary Calgary Art Museum is really magnificent! The view of the city from Calgary tower and the concert at Studio Bell is so marvelous! Even the food at the Maisie Eatery, Little Chief, Major Tom Bar, and Caeser’s Steak House looks so very delicious! I would definitely like to visit the city of Calgary one day. It truly is a fantastic city! Thank you so much Alina to share with us this wonderful video. I have really enjoyed watching it! You are the best and greatest world traveler adventurer ever! 🙂👍👏🌎📹✈️🧳🗺🥇🏆💯💫🌟 I wish you Alina a marvelous excellent amazing blessed day. 😊🙏❤️👋🇨🇦👍💫✨🌟
Watching this as a Texan, I feel so deficient. The only line dance I can sort of remember is the achy breaky. Fantastic video, though. That quartet performance looked awesome.
Nice video, Calgary is pretty awesome actually, lots to do and see. And you’re right, you can be a tourist in your own city. There’s also a lot to do and see in the Calgary area.
i need someone to do those things with. my ex girlfriend was a home body when I want to just go out and see the state sites. very cool to see someone get out and enjoy life.
I'm watching you from Chile right now, and it seems to me your videos are terrific because it allows me to know new places from your perspective. Thanks.
Sounds like an interesting Canadian city to visit. I have been interested in the buildings there. Their made differently than most USA buildings. Never knew they had such good resteraurants. Definitely more interesting to me than Toronto. Winnipeg has also interested me as a Canadian city. Actually had a company contact me to apply for a job there several years back but decided to stay in the USA. ( especially after seeing how much it cost to live in Canada compared to the USA)
Alina, you should live in Calgary! You look happy there and Toronto is an overpriced tourist trap. Enjoyed the review of the city and to be honest the work you were asked to do suits you snd fits in with your nomadic lifestyle. More people should explore western Canada! It has charms and attractions worth checking out. See you in Toronto in your next video! 😊
Thanks, Alina! I am new to Calgary, and I will definitely use your advice! Also, your idea to move to Bulgaria seems quite exciting to me as well🤔 Wishing you all the best in your future endeavors 🙏🏻❣
In the last 12 months I ventured to Weyburn SK, I have to beg to differ that Calgary (which I also have been too) has nothing on Weyburn. It had everything and more that I could desire...The people in Weyburn were friendly (not on my trip to Calgary), No traffic jams, delicious food, 5 star lodging, etc. Do your viewers a huge favor and do a video on Weyburn SK..
As a Albertan, I have to say I look for reasons to make the trek to Calgary, as it is my favourite city in the country. Which coming from an Edmonton raised boy says a lot. The only downside is that after the great stay a home event all the accommodations raised their prices double or triple which makes it more expensive than it needs to be. As I can't live in a city anymore, and I hate mooching friends and relatives who live in cow town. Again as someone who lives in the hat, boots, and jeans it's a place that I feel at home. However, Calgary is not really a must dress western city for the most part. I've spent many a night at the Wranchmen's tipping a few. Being at the Stampede grounds both for the Stampede and horse and cutting shows that go year round. I will say you introduced me to some new things in Calgary that I haven't experienced and will have to find time to try on my trips to the city. Let me just say you wear the white hat well even though I know you won't make it a style staple. As a side note got your postcard yesterday, from that CN Tower place back east. Thanks.
i thought Calagary was very run down when i visited many years ago . well some parts anyway . it had lovely friendly people living in Calgary ps; love the white hat
Wow! Back in Calgary! I've been to the Maritimes, Vancouver, and Toronto many times. Never went to Alberta or Manitoba. Too bad. Winnepeg has a folklorama. Told my wife "we should go sometime". Never did. Still could go there in the future. To CALGARY, I mean, not Winnepeg.
Hello Alina. I am very sorry that I have not been able to watch and comment on your second live broadcast. Thank you for the video. I will try to watch your next live broadcast and I hope you will tell me my name there. Thanks again.❤👍🇺🇸
Hi Alina, Great video. I was wondering what you think about Curitiba Brazil as a place to retire or live? I know you visted and did a video from there and it looked like you enjoyed it. Have you been to Bansko Bulgaria and if so what did you think of it?
What happ Johnny Gaudreau is such a tragedy. He was Mr Flames for a few years, and he is from NJ like myself. We lose so many good ones but never the bad ones.
As a Canadian, I wonder why we don't visit other parts of Canada, besides where we live. I have visited MANY countries. I have yet to travel anywhere in Canada other than Ottawa or Toronto.
Calgary is horrible down by the river. It’s expensive with the influx of people moving in. The Stampede isn’t the same as the 70’s. I’m never going back. It’s like a few skyscrapers (from oil) and the rest is flat. Go cowboys 😂
calgary is okay not a bad place but when compared to vancouver where is the ocean. Where are the mountains where is nature. Its a brown city with no trees so bleak and not really a great place to go. Go to BC its a far better place to see

Caligary is a dream come true for many people and your video really proves it into bigger resolution in terms of online traveling experience.
Good to see you again Alina. Always thought Calgary would be a cool place to visit

Thanks from a native Calgarian. 🇨🇦😊
My pleasure :)
Breathtaking view from the tower. Calgary is gorgeous and beautiful too. Keep up the best work.
Hi Alina ! I went to the Olympics in 1988 in Calgary. They did a good job presenting a memorable experience.
That was winter, wasn't it? The great skateoff of "The Brians" Orser and Boitana" I was so into figure skating back then.
Yeah, you are right! People should take more of what I call "Near Home" vacations. Sometimes I go just 30-100 miles or so, from home, stay in a hotel, and check out the local sites.❤🙂
Absolutely! A lot of people just stay in their own neighbourhoods and don't fully explore what their own back yard has to offer!
@@AlinaMcleod Not true of me. I've "been around". But Alina's "around" is so much larger.

That's pretty much what I and my partner have done since 2018. The pandemic sorta sealed that as our thing.
