I don't have a P210, but some years ago, was invited to a German Pistol shoot and borrowed a P210 from a guy I never met before and won the competition with it. I was in shock, but the old German guy who lent me his P210, was not surprised. Thanks for your video sir.
Thank you Good Sir for another video on my favorite handgun. I was unaware that the Germans and Americans made these as well. My father had multiple Swiss Sig P210s growing up. The P210-5 (target) was my favorite. You brought back some great memories for me. Enjoy your day. God bless you.

@@CutandShoot5x5 Always depends what job it has to do. For target shooting it's one of the go to models. A lot of the long slide target models don't do that good with quick follow up shots based on the slide length. Shop for what you want to achieve with it and take your time cause if the ergonomics don't go well with your hands, it makes no sense to force things. Luckily there are lots of options around.
@@onpsxmember I agree! I’m trying to mitigate “flyers” which is me. I can blowout the bullseye 🎯 area @ 7yds with my economic ($300) Ruger SR9E! Only one stove pipe in 1,000 or so rounds. I’ve been thinking about the Glock 19 for 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲/SelfDefense because I love its 1911 like angle....it just fits nice in my hand. Ultimately it’s what’s best for the individual shooter and therefore I agree 💯%!!!! Thank you for your comment!
Of course there will always be a critic, again, this is my opinion. The name “target” is in the name of the gun, so target accuracy is the discussion. I own this pistol, I own a vp9 longslide, and I shoot them weekly. Of course the person behind the gun is the variable! Always some tactical hobo who has an opinion about everything is gonna sound off. Don’t take it from me, take it from Larry Vickers. He has the same opinion.
Larry, thanks for keeping up with the videos with everything you have going on personally. We love you man, sending strong prayers your way. Always stoked to see a new video come out.
The best thing about this comment section is that no one is even commenting on the gun - rather everyone is wishing LV well. It says quite a bit about (this segment) of the community, I think. We love our tools and toys, but we also automatically and as a group prioritize. Keep fighting, sir. From one former Ohioan to another.
This is probably the flattest-shooting and most accurate handgun I've shot to date. Excellent, excellent quality, certainly impressed. Best of luck and God bless you, Larry. We're all hoping and praying for your speedy recovery, and I'm looking forward to training with you some time in the near future.
Got my P210A standard for $999. Added the target grips for another $130. It feels like a $2500 gun. Every thing on this gun- the slide, trigger, mag release, safety, etc; feels like a piece of precision machinery.
I shot the Swiss made P210 about 20 years ago belonging to a friend who was a licensed firearms dealer, love that piece except for the capacity for combat carry compared to the FN Browning Hi-Power, Glock 17/17L/34...in magazine capacity.
The P210 is a nice gun, don’t get me wrong, but I think dollar for dollar, the CZ Shadow 2 is better for not only target, but also self defense handgun with its 17 round capacity. I myself have the shadow 2 Accushadow but it’s around 22-2400
Ok, because the M14 was was obsolescent by the 1950’s. It was forced onto the Army/Marine Corps by the Ordinance Department after fraudulent trials and was the wrong weapon for the Vietnam War.
@@Chiller01 it’s a great rifle I don’t know what you’re on but you need to stop , the rifle is a great platform still in use by the military today the only thing that should have been changed in Vietnam was the barrel length to a 16” for mobility in the jungle
I picked up the P-210A 5" Standard non target version the week after they were re released a few years ago, they also make a 4" carry version according to the owners manual as well as 5" Target, and a 6" target
A seriously beautiful firearm. I would love to see a future further review with some off the bag accuracy results. The 210 has a decades old reputation for extreme accuracy. Please show us what that baby will do.
