    I have bad flat feet. Despite orthotics I had knee pain while working out. This taping made a huge difference. I am able to lift weights knowing that I am not straining any ligaments. This is a life saver if you lift weights, HIIT workout, walking stairs etc. Thanks for this.

    If patella is medially tracked, and has lesser pain with lateral glide, we can do the same technique , but apply a lateral glide, isn't it?

    • @usamamuhammad2356
      @usamamuhammad2356 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Of course with every treatment, it is case by case scenario. What is important is we first rule out any serious injuries or conditions. If we have ruled them out and there is patellar pain then this could be applied for pain relief, as an adjunct especially in early injury as Andreas had stated in the video. From what you have described, if the patella is tracking medially but there is less pain when glided laterally, this taping technique could help. If you watch how it is done, you can see the tape and skin is pulling laterally, so it could also be moving the muscles or at least the fascia in a lateral direction, which could help to relieve pain, in your case stated above.

    Thank you for sharing. This is great. Should I be trying this if my knees are forward facing with hypermobility & catching painfully when trying to bend?

    What is an equivalent stretch tape as the one you linked to is not available

    Hi, Great video 👍I see that fixomull stretch is a type of hypoallergenic adhesive non woven fabric tape. Can I use other names like hypafix to be use the base tape? This is because fixomull stretch is not available to buy from my country.
