Omg. I literally watched one of your videos on queen ants back in August, and walked outside only to find elates swarming the skies! I found so many queens with and without wings. But I could only catch one without wings, as I had only one test tube, which I had made out of to little parts of a container turned around. It was not a very good setup, but I loved my queen so much. When I got some good, real test tubes later, I moved my queen into one, and went out side to find more. But there were no more ants outside. Just the dead bodies of the male elates who had mated. I was disappointed that I had not caught any other ants, but I was very lucky to catch one for my very first time ant keeping. I cared for her in her new setup, and found out she was a Lasius Neoniger. I later read that most queens caught at the end of the year tend to go into hibernation and lay eggs in the spring. I was conserned that she would not lay eggs soon enough, and that she might die. But once again, I was lucky when I came to check up on her and found that she had two eggs! I was so happy! I cared for her and read everything I could find on lasius neoniger ants. A few weeks later she had a larva. I was overjoyed that she had made it this far, and by the looks of how she cared for her eggs so tentatively, she seemed fertilized. Now, in November, three months after I caught her, she has three large larvae. They should be going into the pupa stage soon, and I’m so proud of my queen for how far she has come! If you read this to the end, thank you for listening to my queen’s story. 😊
One tip I didn't really see here is; Check slow moving water or your friends/public pools during mating season. I can tell you as a pool owner, I find hundreds of queens of many different species in my pool. Also, getting a queen from your friend's pool is like saving a life as pool are a death trap for ants.
OMG thank you i realized our pool has tons of queen ants 🐜. I have been wanting to keep some ants for some time. Will the Queen ant be okay if i take it out of the pool with it still alive?
Hmmmm so I just messed up a little thing so your talking about nuptial flight season so now I know now that queen ants so I ihave done some research what they are look like on my house there's a lot of kinda. Insects then I kill one those.ah. I so dum I literally kill queen ants because I don't know there were queen ants oh can queen fly through the a solar light is that true 🤔🤨
So guys, let's goal set! What species of ants are you hoping to catch this Nuptial Flight Season? GO!!! Alternatively (if you're from Australia), did you catch the queens you were hoping to this anting season? I'll start... I hope to catch queens of Paratrechina longicornis (I hope I didn't miss the nuptial flights and I'm not too late).
+AntsCanada I Agree, I Have Watched Many Video's On Them And Have Just Been Fascinated By Their Activities And Feeding Habits. When I Was Younger I Remember There Were Hundreds Of Them In My Garden But Haven't Seen Any Recently. Would They Move From An Area Entirely Or Have I Just Been UnLucky In Not Finding Any?
+AntsCanada A sidenote to one of your tips is that I would highly recommend keeping multiple queens in one test tube for Solenopsis Invicta. As long as the test tube is placed in an outworld and opened when the larva starts to pupate the colony should be safe. Yes the queens will bicker but the victorious queen will come out healthier and better off than she would of by herself. The nanatics will be better off too. The loser queen will leave the test tube which is why it must be open otherwise they will pretty much fight to the death. Alternatively you can have a bunch of opened test tubes in an outworld and setup an artificial brood raiding event. Eventually all the colonies will merge into one large one. This happens all the time in the wild and I managed to do this successfully in captivity. I, unfortunately, did not see it happen in person other than the fact that the colonies merged when I was away from them.
Decided to start antkeeping this year. I live in Europe and I'm super excited because the species I'd like to keep happens to have their mating season earlier than other ant species. Since it wasn't mentioned in the video - Manica Rubida (the only Manica species in Europe) has it's nuptial flights as early as April with the height in May. Depending on sources they either continue having flights till Fall or have a second season in September only. I found a research paper on the Spring flights for the species detailing the weather conditions required. Basically - they never flight during the days when the temperature is below 18 degree Celsius and preferably when it's around 25 degrees. It is usually a day before it rains. The height seems to occur between the 1st and the 10th of May but across the three years of research they noted a flight as early as the 20th of April. Make a diagram of temperatures day by day - when the temperature spikes just to drop the next day chances are the Manica alates were flying and you can go looking for them. Sorry but I couldn't find any data on the Manica species in America. Hope this info helps you guys!
As someone who is generally weirded out by bugs and only just clicked on one of your videos today, it's like watching some sort of Pokemon classification thing but it's strangely satisfying. Good on you.

+AntsCanada ohh i have a lot of diffrent ants however they are only workers can you do another video on how to find or the state like petalingjaya to find the queen
Can i ask how long does it take an odontomachus sp and formica, egg to hatch into a larvae, and aswell how long does it take to turn into pupae, and last of all to hatch into a worker. Please help me i got both of them last. Week during the begining of the our rainy season (April), Both of them have multiple eggs ( >5), and the odontomachus has been fed a diet of the recently fresh termites who also have their naptiul flights during the HEAVY rain, (around 2-4 different species of them). Hi! I'm from central México. Yesterday I found 2 Camonotus Queens and today 2 Pogonomyrmex Queens! I hope this time they make it, Camponotus are so slow!
Holy crap you may be right. Today when I walked into work I saw ants swarming the entrance and all around them were tons of queens. I followed them up the side of the building and there were at least dozens of queens.
+AntsCanada hey ugh i live in belgium i'd like to start a colony but idk where to start (wich species how to get ants and a palce for the colony to live) pls help me and give information if possible thx :D
I didn't even have to hunt for my queen ant. She managed to find my home perfectly fine on her own, and has now unleashed her armada of sisters into my kitchen from a crack in the kitchen floor.
New to the AC Family and I binged 100s of your videos. Decided I wanted to start a colony and found a queen in minutes. Walked over to just look at an ant hill and noticed a solenopsis queen wandering around a little bit away. Could t believe my beginners luck!
Attention all you ant lovers in North America, be sure to look out for Camponotus (carpenter ants) queens flying right now! Go catch them! People everywhere are getting lucky!
I'm in my 3rd year of trying to get an ant colony established, hopefully this is the year. Hard lessons learned, don't move the ants too soon or too often! I think ants Canada recommends waiting for at least 30 ants in the test tube before moving I didn't listen and killed 2 colonies last year moving too soon. Thank you for for all the advice!! Two weeks ago, out riding my bike, I stumbled upon a Tetramorium Queen. A block away, I found 3 more Tetramorium queens, and saw several dead male Alates. I feel very lucky to have collected this many Queens within an hour. We now have 4 queens, each in their own test tube! Hopefully, they will survive better this year, as I lost my Queen and her workers during hibernation last year.
Thank you so much for this video! I'm trying to start my very first colony, but I'm finding it hard to come across the information in this video (in particular Australia).
Izutsushi Same, I've seen them in my house(they were flying and trying to bite me!!) and I've seen them at school, now if only I was interested in ant keeping at that time I might've caught some but I mean black crazy ants literally live in my balcony since my mother keeps many plants so I can find them.
I remember those times when I was little I found huge ants and killing them now I live in a different state and thinking back I remember how they look and they where probably campounatus Uuuuhhh😠 If only I was educated when I was that young Now I can't find anycamponautus And that's like my dream come true Only solonopsis molesta Pogonomermyx And rarely tetramorium I've been really trying to get one for 2 years and couldn't yet I see workers everywhere all the time Anyway I know what you mean
At first I was like "ya I'm going to start an awesome colony in these cool out worlds" then I went to the antscanada store and said na I like having money
im so excited to start my collection and eventually join the GAN project. still got some more studying to do but i think im getting there. spent the past several months studying ants and reading about them. watched all of your videos now, even antsaus and now nortic ants - small channel but doing real well including watching all sorts of documentaries on it. so ready to start. been going to nests and messing around just to see them with my eyes. about to build my setup as im out of work and money is tight. im also a former IV heroin addict and this is the perfect hobby to get into. i had snakes and spiders but my addiction led me to sell all of them :( not this time tho
In North America, Bracymyrmex and Solenopsis fugax fly from Aug - Nov. This is also true for Asia and Australia. You can also find semi - culustural types of Tetramorium from July-Oct.
Coming back to this video after I just found a few camponotus queens in the end of October. I myself live in Australia and didn’t know they could fly this early.
I've been pretty squirmish around insects, but because of your videos it at least makes it easier for me to see any lil critter. It's actually gotten me thinking on starting up a colony of my own, but I'm still thinking on what to truly get myself started with. Though I'm not the most patient, I'd still love to have a colony of carpenters, maybe even winter ants since I live in Canada and I like being in a more colder temperature. I'm going to plan out everything before capturing a queen, so that way I know I have everything to keep the colony growing.
I was watching this and went outside with a container and was like “I AM GOING TO FIND A QUEEN ANT AND I WONT COME INSIDE TILL I DO” I went outside 2 minutes later I was freaking out bc I actually found one-
thank you so much!! I've been trying to know when queen ant do their nuptial flight and this really helped I just caught Pheidologeton queen ant I've searched but never saw when queen ants have their nuptial flight so seeing this really helped me I've been a fan for about 4 years! already i used to watch on my old phone now on my computer this really helped others and this helped me to thank you.
Hey ant keepers a good hint is if you have an outside pool during the flights i have seen hundreds of queens in my pool during spring summer and autumn. Never had enough tubes to catch them all!
I randomly found a MASSIVE super colony after watching this video of little black ants aka monomorium minimum, with at least a few hundred queens and males just walking around some with queens some without, and I managed to get 10 queens or maybe a few more, and now they have tunneled like crazy now they have thousands of workers and are thriving thank you!
Im new to ant keeping and today on my first day looking for queen ants (4/24/17, on my birthday :) ) I found two queen ants (They are red). I do not know what the Species is though so I should get on that. Thank you to AntsCanada for all the help your awesome my little brother and I couldn't do it without you. We order 50 test tubes but they come in two days. hopefully the ants don't get stressed out. We just have them in a small Tupperware container.
I finally got my mom to agree to my keeping a colony!!! I just have to wait for my setup and find a queen. This is gonna be a great quarantine project, I've wanted a colony for so long
I'm gonna be on Okinawa, Japan for a few years, and I just caught a few Pheidole queens in November-December. I'll be sure to keep my eyes open and take pics of any flights I see for species identification, and I'll list on the AC Forums. Hopefully this helps your data. I also want to join the GAN project but I think I'm the only person on this island interested in ant keeping.
Rhytidoponera sp. from September to November, Opthisthopsis sp. in December (around Christmas Day), Tapinoma sp. year-round (usually), Myrmecia sp. (bull ants) September to February in Australia
carpenter ants are always raging through my house and they have nuptial flights right around my birthday I'm gonna try to catch a queen. #antloveforever
im a year late from this video but im trying to find queen ants here in the philippines, i currently live in a village , and its hard to find queens or its either im just a noob. Any recommendations to where i would find queens?
easy you probably live near a forest go there at noon time and find some ants follow them to their nest and pour some lime mix with water solution into it and soon queen will come out soonly after 10 or 15 mins or so then voila! u have your own ant queen and it`s easy to find ants colonies at ur place its hard for me i live in a city i am from Pakistan and i am currently living in Karachi and it`s *d*ucking hard to find a ant colony near my place and even far from my place i can`t find any colonies so if u have some info help me please !!!! -____-
Yep I know in North America it’s around May/June especially after a heavy rain 🌧 you’ll maybe see Bats 🦇 too as they feast on the flying Ants, there’s so many of them. Early May/June insects like this will show even on Doppler weather radar. Crazy time for all insects.
Interesting. I think I have a pretty huge colony of either Formica spp. or Crematogaster spp. in my yard (Albuquerque, New Mexico). I've been feeding them the last two summers and the Colony has gotten quite large. But I noticed late summer last year, dozens of the winged ones coming out.
I found 3 queen ants recently, 2 different species both on my drive way and they were near an ant colony, all 3 have started to lay eggs some time in the 5 days since the capture. I may have to sell some in GAN, I will be the first GAN farmer in my area from what I can tell
Ang keeping is sorta like pokemon go, you catch the queens, then you train them or grow the colony, Habitats and nests are the pokeballs. Thats awesome
No, wait until the workers start trying to get out, she will surive until the workers hatch and while they grow up. In a month or something the workers will hatch, then you have to wait a little more until they try to get out, then you can feed them a little honey.
i'd love to keep a leafcutter's collony, but they seens to be especially huge and brutal here in brazil, if you stand in their area, dude... they will know your adress and come after you :O how in hell im suposed to catch their queen?
There are actually a lot of these ants. Where I lived last year, there was a huge nuptial flight in front of my house. I caught a lot so i let go about half but still had about 20 something queens. (Prenolepis Imparis)
For Singapore, Camponotus Psuedo Irritans are the most common species we can find (If i'm not wrong). I think the nuptial flight is around the end of the year.
My backyard would have probably been heaven for you guys earlier this year. A few months ago we had a heavy storm and a few days later my backyard and my neighbors up to a few houses down were swarmed with ants. I would say there was easily at least several thousand ants there for awhile.
I am an ant keeper in SA and I have Paratrechina Longicornis aswell as a couple unknown silver- backed ants to me i do not know what species they belong to but black crazy ants I know fly from the end of December to February-mid february
I've only ever seen 3 ant species in Europe. And all of them are super abundant. 1) Tiny black ones (that often live in houses as pests or near sidewalks); 2) Tiny red/brown ones, that look very similar to the black ones, but bite much more painfully; 3) Bigger (2-3 times larger in length than the other 2) ones that live in forests and build big mounds.
You should make another video for South America and Africa, i would apreciate that a lot! Is my first week into Ant Keeping Research and i'm a brasilian.
Thx for all ur help, ive been watching this channel for three yrs now and just yesterday and today I caught my first 4 queens! All iridomyrmex, they pop up everywhere in my yard. I am so hyped! I am 12, any advice (I understand most scientific terms)
my first colony was very easy to get because they built a nest in a plant pot and my mom wanted to kill them. so i took them and moved them in a terrarium. i think they are a monomorium pharaonis colony. i counted the queens and there were about 17 quens. now about 3 months later i saw 15 queens at the same time. i am just impressed how many queens there are.
Hi, I've wanted to tell you that Europe has ant species similar to Myrmica, which is living in North America and they are called Myrmica ruba (In my country they are called Myrmica laevinodis). (By the way, I never saw them having a nuptial flight in my country ;x ) What is interesting that these ants are growing aphids for themselves, collecting nectar that aphids produce. These ants sometimes catch fundatrices and brings them to the nests, cares of them and when Spring comes, ants put them on plants and starts collecting a nectar again....
I’m super impatient and I want to have an ant colony . I’ve never had one and it’s the end of May, but I *LOVE* winter ants. What should I do? Wait for the winter ants or try and get some pavement ants?
I actually just got off work 10 minutes ago only to discover that there is a nuptial flight taking place as we speak :-) my truck along with several other vehicles are covered in ants that are still Landing. I have no idea what the specie is they are about a quarter of an inch long, black with brown rings around the abdomen. I must admit it's definitely interesting to observe
my backyard has a small field full of plants and mostly dirt and big trees, it's humid (but dry sometimes), you think i have a chance of finding ants there?
Omg. I literally watched one of your videos on queen ants back in August, and walked outside only to find elates swarming the skies! I found so many queens with and without wings. Can i ask how long does it take an odontomachus sp and formica, egg to hatch into a larvae, and aswell how long does it take to turn into pupae, and last of all to hatch into a worker.
Please help me i got both of them last. Week during the begining of the our rainy season (April),
Both of them have multiple eggs ( >5), and the odontomachus has been fed a diet of the recently fresh termites who also have their naptiul flights during the HEAVY rain, (around 2-4 different species of them).

I remember when I first saw these vids I thought you fed them rice lmao
I found a campenatus any queen! So excited! Ant hype!🐜
Do you carry any products in the AC Shop big enough for Camponatus Gigas?
I heard that cephalotes ants live in my area. When do cephalotes queens fly? Please answer because cephalotes ants are my favorite. Ant love forever!
lucky
Cephalotes are one of my favs as well but I live in Canada so don’t have them
Just look any time during the year and you might find one
Lucas Storsley I found a colony near the coast on a coccoloba tree but their numbers are small. I plan to go back after it rains.
My mom: NO you cant keep ants
Me:heh, we'll see about that
😂😂😂😂
I was watching this and went outside with a container and was like “I AM GOING TO FIND A QUEEN ANT AND I WONT COME INSIDE TILL I DO” I went outside 2 minutes later I was freaking out bc I actually found one-
Lucky ass
Ur so lucky! All i see are workers
Wow
I come out and i have to use my bike to get to place where i see only workers but i found a male alate so surely its nuptual flight
i got 2 pavement ant queens lol
The session is just beginning again in North America / Southern U.S. I needed this video so much, as I'll be finding my first queen. Thanks!
thank you so much!!
Yeah right like I'm gonna get a permit to pick up an ant off the sidewalk lmao.
Saying that makes it so if on the off chance someone does get in trouble he isnt responsible
....you dont need one... dumbass. he said on private property or gov property... nice way to ruin the vibe.
Catz Gamez
He said public or government property actually. Dumbass.
Backwards he said private
but in here in Philippines you don't need permit and there's a lot of alates flying during night
Really nice guide, thank you for sharing the European Species :D
+AntManUK Hope it helps! :)
antkemon. i wanna be the very best!
Like no one ever was!
to catch them is my real test to raise them is my cause
Hey ant keepers a good hint is if you have an outside pool during the flights i have seen hundreds of queens in my pool during spring summer and autumn. Never had enough tubes to catch them all!
I randomly found a MASSIVE super colony after watching this video of little black ants aka monomorium minimum, with at least a few hundred queens and males just walking around some with queens some without, and I managed to get 10 queens or maybe a few more, and now they have tunneled like crazy now they have thousands of workers and are thriving thank you!
Who wants queen ants? there are tons in our house Flying!! hahaha
those may be termites
@@_chrisbuzz oh my go
thanks ant Canada now I can start my own ant farm...when I find a Queen and if my parents agree to it :D
A few minutes ago I caught a queen and it broke its wings of in my hand.
That must be awesome
Delightful Genius It depends on the species. Some will chew them, some will chew them off then eat them, some will rip them off with their legs.
Delightful Genius I’m not sure about Lasius Neoniger but it isn’t uncommon for a queen to keep her wings.
This is gonna be a great quarantine project, I've wanted a colony for so long
how’a it going?
bro i just get ants no asking get a large jar and keep it in your room no one is disturbed and you get ants
I live in Africa does anyone know when Tetramorium ants fly in the year
When it said take a screenshot I did
i wrote i down
Joe from prison school loves this channel
haha lol
prison school?
I think it's one of those chinese cartoons
he would kill if anyone touched his colony
LeoVillads its an anime
I'm gonna be on Okinawa, Japan for a few years, and I just caught a few Pheidole queens in November-December. I'll be sure to keep my eyes open and take pics of any flights I see for species identification, and I'll list on the AC Forums. Hopefully this helps your data.
I also want to join the GAN project but I think I'm the only person on this island interested in ant keeping.
+BleedingRaindrops Awesome! We would LOVE your help! Ant love forever!
Did you caught one?
Damn he sounds so depressed in his old vids
lmao yeah
im a year late from this video but im trying to find queen ants here in the philippines, i currently live in a village , and its hard to find queens or its either im just a noob.
@@HarmonicFusionEdits look on the sidewalk in the summer
I live in desert and I'm having hard time searching for one.
Is there Lasius in Kentucky?
DorianTM Everywhere in europe
This guy in 11:12 seems familiar!
Yeah I know it look like the one that I watch that is 😂😂😂
I found 3 queen ants recently, 2 different species both on my drive way and they were near an ant colony, all 3 have started to lay eggs some time in the 5 days since the capture. I may have to sell some in GAN, I will be the first GAN farmer in my area from what I can tell
Ang keeping is sorta like pokemon go, you catch the queens, then you train them or grow the colony,
Habitats and nests are the pokeballs.
Thats awesome
I just watched a lot of your videos.. I didnt know ants were so interesting. I was killing them all the time for no reason and I feel bad now lol
ants are just misunderstood its sad to think there being killed every day it makes me sad
I caught 2 queen today with now wings do they need male, I live in North America
First one was crawling around my parking lot ant the other one climb on my leg
Do not try to give them a male, just keep them until they either die or produce workers.
The shadow Lista aka Lucas ok thanks
The shadow Lista aka Lucas if she start laying egg should I start feeding her
No, wait until the workers start trying to get out, she will surive until the workers hatch and while they grow up.
In a month or something the workers will hatch, then you have to wait a little more until they try to get out, then you can feed them a little honey.
i'd love to keep a leafcutter's collony, but they seens to be especially huge and brutal here in brazil, if you stand in their area, dude... they will know your adress and come after you :O
how in hell im suposed to catch their queen?
Noone pse neh cara, ele precisa fzr um vídeo falando sobre a América do sul, pq daí a gnt talvez consiga pegar uma rainha ;-;
:P
Make a run for it.
Hey Pampers, i live here in Brazil too, it is not that ez ;-;
1. Identify if it is a leaf cutter queen
2. Make a guess if it has mated
3.????
4. Profit
This was extremely helpful. I didn't know when to look for ants that much, but now I do.
There are actually a lot of these ants. Where I lived last year, there was a huge nuptial flight in front of my house. I caught a lot so i let go about half but still had about 20 something queens. (Prenolepis Imparis)
I found 7 at first i saw 1 then i tried to catch it then soldiers atacked me
rip
ummmm you mean super majers
@@TheSBShow-s7q theyre the same
well super majers are ment for the same thing
Permit to catch an ant? :-D haha
lol yeah well its only on private and government property.
@@deduzz some are let in the place for a reason
some ants were set free there for a reason
For Singapore, Camponotus Psuedo Irritans are the most common species we can find (If i'm not wrong). I think the nuptial flight is around the end of the year.
My backyard would have probably been heaven for you guys earlier this year. A few months ago we had a heavy storm and a few days later my backyard and my neighbors up to a few houses down were swarmed with ants. I would say there was easily at least several thousand ants there for awhile.
+Mikel Kilcran YES!!!!
The rains in the center of South America, in the brasilian savana, starts in october/november and finishes in may.
This helped SO much.
Who's still watching this year
I am an ant keeper in SA and I have Paratrechina Longicornis aswell as a couple unknown silver- backed ants to me i do not know what species they belong to but black crazy ants I know fly from the end of December to February-mid february
I've only ever seen 3 ant species in Europe. And all of them are super abundant.
1) Tiny black ones (that often live in houses as pests or near sidewalks);
2) Tiny red/brown ones, that look very similar to the black ones, but bite much more painfully;
3) Bigger (2-3 times larger in length than the other 2) ones that live in forests and build big mounds.
You should make another video for South America and Africa, i would apreciate that a lot! Is my first week into Ant Keeping Research and i'm a brasilian.
This is great! I think we have Atta Texana in our backyard!
Thx for all ur help, ive been watching this channel for three yrs now and just yesterday and today I caught my first 4 queens! All iridomyrmex, they pop up everywhere in my yard. I am so hyped! I am 12, any advice (I understand most scientific terms)
So many of my friends recently caught O. Smaragdina and I’m still looking ..... even though I see several colonies everyday
my first colony was very easy to get because they built a nest in a plant pot and my mom wanted to kill them. so i took them and moved them in a terrarium. i think they are a monomorium pharaonis colony. i counted the queens and there were about 17 quens. now about 3 months later i saw 15 queens at the same time. i am just impressed how many queens there are.
i have also seen tetramorium and lasius neoniger in august-september along with crematogaster here in Ayr Ontario
Hi,
I've wanted to tell you that Europe has ant species similar to Myrmica, which is living in North America and they are called Myrmica ruba (In my country they are called Myrmica laevinodis).
4:48 Camponotus novaeboracensis is actually a species I see a lot where I live and is apparently native to where I live
I caught so many queens on my birthday!!! (February 5th) I found the prenolepis imparis, they look nice to me :)
Me too!!!!!!! I also found Tetramorium and Camponotus on my birthday! They flew early in March!
YEESSSSS WERE IN MAY AND I FINALLY CAUGHT A QUEEN THANK YOU ANTSCANADA I DONT KNOW WHAT TO SAY FROM HOW HAPPY I AM 😭😆😆😆
Thank you for making this video and all the others. I have always liked ants and now i have an idea of how to safely catch and raise them
Your channel is better then BBC planet Earth
WOW! I find prenolepis imparis, next to my house alot!! TODAY THEY ARE STORMING! One time I saw them making a trail!
I’m super impatient and I want to have an ant colony . I’ve never had one and it’s the end of May, but I *LOVE* winter ants. What should I do? Wait for the winter ants or try and get some pavement ants?
Hey i have a tip for you when you see a banana plant peel it and you well find egg and queen
Thanks I will be finding black crazy ants and solenopsis geminia tomorrow
I actually just got off work 10 minutes ago only to discover that there is a nuptial flight taking place as we speak :-) my truck along with several other vehicles are covered in ants that are still Landing. I have no idea what the specie is they are about a quarter of an inch long, black with brown rings around the abdomen. I must admit it's definitely interesting to observe
Oh, there's a lot of weaver ants nest in trees at granma house (i'm in indonesia). This is interesting hobby, gonna try soon
Never thought I would see any interest in ant farming
So lucky caught a Velvet Ant queen excited to raise the colony
I found two prenolepis imparis this year! I lucked out!
During the summer I saw a bunch of insects flying in the air. I always thought they were mosquitos until I saw a video of a nuptial flight.
I live In eastern texas and I have seen (and caught) many solenopsis ant queens already (February 24th)
Philippines here guys wow. Thanks 15 years old I'm hunting some ants
Hi I am from India. I like your chanel. And thanks for sharing those great information..☺
I will start finding queen ant next day.
my backyard has a small field full of plants and mostly dirt and big trees, it's humid (but dry sometimes), you think i have a chance of finding ants there?
