Some people are speculating this is kind of a prequel. If you've done everything in undertale, Sans mentioned one timeline, a long time past, he wished he could go back to, before everything fell apart (presumably, before Gaster blew up space time in some way). Maybe this is that timeline? Or maybe Chara trying to get revenge for things ending in Undertale by invading this timeline? So looking forward to seeing where this goes.
On the subject of the voices, I think her average voice in this video's time (4 years ago) would be perfect for Kris cause her average voice still variously sounds like a guy but mostly a girl, it'd be a perfect combination for Kris. Also Kris isn't so creepy after hearing/seeing a lot of theorys and watching enough playthroughs, I kinda like their character (I prefer Kris sounding slightly more like a girl than a boy) No one has to agree with me, just an opinion 🤷♂️ (Edit: I do sincerely hope that this is not in any way insulting, Penny! I tried my best not to be 🤗❤️ I strongly support LGBTQ)

Is it like an alternate dimension for if the war of humans and monsters never happened? Like if it doesn't exist here, is this what Undertale would have been like? And Frisk and Chara (and the 6 human souls) don't exist and instead it's Kris? That's my guess anyway, I may be wrong. Also I think the names Chara and Frisk merged turn into Chris 👀
I'm still astounded by your vocal range. It 's AMAZING! I hadn't watched the Undertale playthrough, so it caught me off guard when you did Sans' voice so well. Also, a lot of people are saying it's an alternative universe because Asriel's old enough to go to college
i just realize that throughout the playthrough, that up until the fight with King, they never once heal in battle and i'm impress (I could be wrong, I skim through most of the two vids)
If you have extra TP after the battle it turns into money, so if you have one enemy left it's good to defend with Kris to build TP then spare with Ralsei.

Coming back after playing the second chapter (no spoilers); anyone else notice how at some point through ch2 Susie's attack changes from Rude Buster to Red Buster? Almost feels like Toby got the name change from Penny's misreading of the attack.

It’s so weird seeing Penny skip the check command in practically every encounter. When I play games like this the first thing I do is always check the enemy’s info
I mean she was trying to speed through but also Checking just gives the enemies an extra turn to attack you, so unless you're doing a playthrough at a casual pace I guess you wouldn't really think to do it

It's a wagon and of course the bird cage is worn out Kris probably had a pet bird not really anything that has to do with us the players because you get no choice in Deltarune there is no genocide in this the monsters run it you do too much damage. Chara isn't an angel none of the characters from Undertale are good or evil.
what do you mean by you hate the idea of evil chara? i've never seen the full genocide route [because it makes me uncomfortable and i tried to watch it once and it made me actually sick] but i have seen bits and pieces, and from what i know chara possesses frisk's soul and forces them to murder everyone... unless i'm wrong? but i'm pretty sure chara is a murderer...
