      What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver?

    Question for you. So I’ve been using mine for about two years already and crazy thing I have never ever been able to hear any sound on an incoming call through the speakers. Every time I attempt to make a call people say they can barely hear me and I can’t hear them whatsoever there is no sound at all. So I have had to use the speakerphone option on my phone if I need to make a call while I’m in the vehicle which is super inconvenient and pointless because I bought this because it was supposed to work for calls as well. So do you have any ideas what could be causing that problem? Bluetooth is paired fine, I can play music off of my iPhone just fine but for whatever reason it is useless for phone calls and I’ve been regretting it since I got it but maybe I’m missing something. Thanks

      When you are on a phone call, please be sure to raise the in-dash receiver volume to a listenable level and to raise the phone’s call volume. Please watch this video for information about phone calls on Pioneer AVH-110BT: th-cam.com/video/A6KVxci2RtQ/w-d-xo.html If you still don't hear the remote caller in your vehicle, you may have the receiver wired incorrectly. Pioneer in-dash receivers output Bluetooth Phone Call audio to the FRONT speaker outputs and FRONT RCA outputs only.
      Bluetooth Audio, or music played from your phone, will play through all outputs, both front and rear. Your in-dash receiver may be installed incorrectly. There is an easy way to test it. Using the Fader control, fade the audio output all the way to the front. You can see how to use the fader control in this video: th-cam.com/video/WfRawQnSPto/w-d-xo.html
      Can you hear music?
      Can you hear phone calls. If you fade the system all the way to the front and can not hear music, that means the in-dash receiver’s FRONT audio outputs are not connected in your system. What does the preout affect? What is the difference from rear to subwoofer?

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      The RCA pre-out is used to send the audio signal to an external amplifier. The audio signal can be filtered so that only selected audio frequencies are sent out to any give amplifier or speaker. I recommend to delete some previously connected Bluetooth devices from the in-dash receiver's memory. Take a look at this How To video from Pioneer: th-cam.com/video/Z9VTZHWPzkQ/w-d-xo.html

      What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? If you have the Pioneer AVH-110BT there is no HPF adjustment available.

    Can't access the Bluetooth settings at all even after I engaged parking break

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You’ll need to engage the vehicle’s Parking Brake in an ON-OFF-ON operation in order to access the Bluetooth setup menu. This might also be known as the Hand Brake or the Emergency Brake. If you engage the vehicle’s Parking Brake and still can’t access the Bluetooth menu, the in-dash receiver’s Green Parking Brake Wire may have an incorrect connection to vehicle. You can learn more about the Green Parking Brake Wire in this Pioneer How To video: th-cam.com/video/-bF3uzzaT30/w-d-xo.html

    Why on earth would it not have a minimum of 50hz for Subwoofers sorry but I find that wierd

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Please clarify your question. Are you referring to the Equalizer settings? Or the LPF crossover settings? Or some other setting? What is the model number of the Pioneer receiver to which you are referring?

      @@pioneerelectronics Model AVH G220BT the subwoofer settings can it be set to 50 Hz ?

    • @pioneerelectronics
      @pioneerelectronics  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@rashidharris197 The Pioneer AVH-G220BT is very similar in operation to the AVH-110BT seen in the video above. Here is the Pioneer How To video for the Subwoofer Settings for the Pioneer AVH-110BT: th-cam.com/video/THxQ-Mnb7JM/w-d-xo.html The available LPF, or crossover points are 80Hz, 120Hz, or 160HZ. The LPF, or Low Pass Filter, lets all frequencies below the selected point to pass through to the subwoofer amplifier. This means if you choose and LPF setting of 80 Hz, all frequencies below 80 HZ are going to the subwoofer. That would include 50 Hz. The slope is fixed at 12 dB per octave. The AVH-G220BT is one of Pioneer most entry level receivers. Other more advanced receivers offer a wider variety of crossover points to choose from. For example: SPH-DA160DAB seen here: www.pioneer-car.eu/eur/products/sph-da160dab/support has LPF crossover points of 25, 32, 40, 50, 63, 80, 100, 125, 160, 200, 250Hz. In addition a slope setting of 6, 12, 18, 24, or 30 dB per octave can be selected for any of the crossover points.

    But i get no sound on Bluetooth

      I recommend to use the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Audio Source to listen to music from your phone. First, connect your phone through Bluetooth. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/_GiEKfZMzs0/w-d-xo.html Next start playing some music on your phone. Then change the receiver to the Bluetooth Audio Source. You can see it here: th-cam.com/video/9LocR5cfswQ/w-d-xo.html You can find a full playlist of How To videos from Pioneer about the AVH-110BT here: th-cam.com/video/V_e_5GKE2xQ/w-d-xo.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's TH-cam Channel here: th-cam.com/users/pioneerelectronics
