I had a 2020 limited and I know have 2023 limited and 2023 and 2024 super duty work trucks. It seems like every year you’re getting less and having less ability to customize options on the higher end trims and paying more. They’re starting to look and feel like Rams. Nice seats but all kinds of chintzy plastic. And the headlights and grills my goodness. GMC ultimate or high end trim AT4 are looking better and better. Let’s see what 2025 brings.

The B&O is extremely clear with slight bass but nothing rattling. I’d truly like a slight more bass. Other than that it’s great
@@americandream_89 you may have already tried it, but if it’s similar to my 13 with the B&O (I doubt it with the decade difference in tech) you should be able to manually adjust the bass/treble/etc. via touchscreen display.
@@lakerat9785 you are correct. This system sounds great I’m not saying it has no bass. It has bass and subs great but even with bass up it’s very light bass.
I have a new Wagoneer in the Soundsystem and it is nuts for a factory system.
How about the steering wheel on the XLT? I think that one is all plastic!!! 😮😮😮

It kills me that you can't get a tremor with the long bed. And I went gas (diesel is complete overkill for my needs, and too expensive) so that 48 gal tank is a must-have for me.
I do love the tremor look though.
A tremor long bed would look so sweet!
Especially with the new bedside step, making the bed, not look near as long of a sheet of metal.
I am opposite I like the 23+ king ranch better than the older ones 😂 The platinum is great but I love that western look. The projector headlights and led taillights are a win for the platinum but the wheels on a non tremor platinum are awful. 2 great trucks either way!
It’s truly opinion and mine is nothing greater than any other. I still love the King ranch just blown away they won’t offer a projector on it. Along with halogen tail lights.
Great video, but folks need to know that the availability of the limited and platinum trim levels for the Ford Super Duty trucks is still very limited. I can get a lariat built in 6-8 weeks, but it will take months (4-6) to get the higher trim level trucks. If you are willing to wait for a softer steering wheel and projector lights, then that's fine. But if you need your truck sooner, you may want to consider a lower trim level.
That’s true it took me 6-7 months to get mine. You do get much more than a softer wheel and projecting lights though.
This actually makes more sense. Now you have 3 sets of trim levels to upgrade to.
XL - XLT
LARIAT - KING RANCH
PLATINUM - LIMITED
It helps people move up in trim lol

I'm at almost 2 years since I originally ordered a 2022 King Ranch. Finally have a build date for March.

I had a Tuxedo black 2015 F350 with a tan interior and loved it. I then got a 2020 7.3 Iconic silver Lariat with the black interior and black out appearance package. I will get a 2025 Platinum with the same color interior as you. I always preferred the Platinum interior vs the KR. The design and material feel 5-10% better and looks more modern. Good content subscribed

I think in either 25 or 26 the platinum will have the same interior as the limited but tan. As in diamond stitched

I use to love the KR also. I just don’t like the current leather color. I miss the aniline tan “saddle leather”. To me the platinum with the Carmelo leather is closer to the original king ranch.
I remember the first time I seen a King Ranch truck, thinking this thing is special!

Thanks for this useful comparison. Fully agree with pinevalleyfarm4941. My F-150 is a Platinum. Great interior and superb leather. But, for my 2024 I chose the King Ranch trim. Love this western look, too. Ok, I miss the projector head lights. But, I will save a lot of money if anytime my halogen taillights break. These LED taillights I had to bereplaced at my F-150. You can't fix them because inner and outer shell are glued and/or supersonic welded. No chance to separate them. And finally the price for them. 🙄 Oh my gosh.

I think your carpet delete floor will be much easier to keep clean than that carpet!
In my opinion the vinyl floor is the only way to go.

I like the color of the king ranch, but is it me or does the bed look like the same as the duramax with the step on the side.
That’s the new glacier grey for 24 it’s cool looking in person. Yes they copied the bed side steps I’m thankful they did. I truly like the look and function.

I have a 23 lariat ultimate 350 dually HO…the it has the speaker headrest but I don’t hear music or anything come out of headrest I think it’s empty inside
I’ve seen many say this. Several people have said you have to turn surround sound on. Have you tried that?

For as much as Ford charges these trucks, LED projector headlights should be standard instead of Ford cheaping out and only install LED reflector headlights!!!

American headlight technology and standards by the DOT is 10 years behind Europe! Audi came out with their digital matrix LED headlights in 2003! TH-cam channel 1001cars has a great video on it! The headlights is on full high beam 100% of the time! It has digital sensors that detect on coming traffic and blacks out the area of on coming traffic so the other driver is not blinded by this high intensity lights! This blacked out area follows the on coming traffic until it passes you and then it is back to full 100% light output!
Once you see this, you will definitely want it on all your vehicles!!!
But at least Ford has headlights that turn which is at least 20 years old by Euro standards!

They’re not exactly straight up and down, but they have zero movement I think ram is only one that lets the backseat recline.
Why a $98k KR does not come with LED taillights?

im on my 4th ram 2500 limited and considering making a brand change.. How do you think the ford compares?
I used to run ram before I switched to ford. The only thing better on ram is the exhaust break. I had a Ram mega cab. They visibility in the ford is much better. For instance seeing over your hood and looking out rear and rear side glass simultaneously. The mega cab has big blind spots.
Next would be power and transmission it’s not even close. I found the ram to be very sluggish and cumbersome finding gears. Say your costing 50-60 down hill towing then you hit a hill the ram gear input just wasn’t smooth like a ford. Fuel mileage is better on ford also. I’m planning to make a full video on why I chose ford over Ram and Chevy/gmc.
@@americandream_89 I bought a 22 Duramax to use for work in addition to the ram and it stomps the ram power wise
but the ram auto leveling rear suspension is very very useful the way I use the truck and no aftermarket system on a GM or ford that I’ve seen can make up for that.

My ram in the same scenarios would average 1-2mpg less. The 10 speed is leaps ahead and gives you much proper gearing at any time.
Go test drive one. Everyone is different you may like the Ram better. If Ford was the best for everyone Ram wouldn’t exist. From what I’ve seen 99% of people I know buying Ram is because you can buy them much cheaper.
Both are nice but the Plati is better it one of sucks I thought the king ranch would stay at the same level

Before the Titan, had a 2018 frontier. No complaints with it. Only reason for trading it in, we bought a travel trailer that I felt, was too much for the frontier.
The Titan comes with a 5 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.
It’s a shame Americans are stuck on the big three, and Nissan is discontinuing the Titan. It’s a very underrated vehicle. Features wise and bang for the buck, it wins.

@americandream_89 Yeah, it's nice material, but that king ranch interior is far greater, and just tougher. Something that goes very well with a truck. The headlight thing is a bummer but it shows how people order and like the king ranch better demand, they trying to get people to order the platinum

The undeniable truth is all of these new diesels with all this junk on them are ticking timebombs…I’ve owned them they are complete garbage but when you get rid of it they are epic. If you plan to keep it. Do it right away, if you are terrible with money and upgrade every three years leave it be I guess lol
