I wish I could write music as sweet as this delightful and all-too-short Prelude by Gustav Merkel! You play the piece beautifully on the gorgeous Steinmeyer Organ sample set, Rien: bravo!
Thanks! I have no idea. I found it in “Short pieces for the organ part 6” from Ernest Dicks. It's called "Introduction Voluntary" which of course can't be the right title . I renamed it in "Prelude" which suits the German heritage better. Drop me a email if you can’t find it then I send you the pdf.
A gentle start for a Monday morning
That was the idea! Thanks! :-)
Yes -- very sweet harmonies! Your registration is just perfect for this!
Thank you so much!
Another awesomely gorgeous performance. You always find such good songs to cover
Thanks a lot! I like this one myself too!
I had not heard this wonderful prelude before. As a lover of Merkel's works I shall get it. What a warm rich tone this organ possesses.
Thanks Colin! The piece is in your email.
Wonderful dear Rien, you have recorded another fantastic piece by G. Merkel, fantastically beautiful!
Thanks! I like this one too! :-)

Haha! I suppose if Merkel had listened to your compositions, he would have felt embarrassed by his own writings. Thanks for listening!
Dear Graham, you have composed equally beautiful music, all in your own way, and that is a good thing. Best wishes to you! Roland
@@nakorganist fully agree!
Lovely playing of this beautiful piece, bravo Rien !
Thanks Rémi! Have a nice day!
A very beautiful composition by Graham Merkel or Gustav Twist.. I don't know. Thank you.
Hahaha. Thanks Philippe!
Beautiful lyrical prelude!
Thanks!
Mooi rustig stuk, inderdaad helemaal in de stijl van Graham (of is het net andersom 🙂)
Thanks! All music starts with Bach and ends with a Twist!
