She mentioned that she’s happy because the cost of living in her country is affordable, allowing her to enjoy a good quality of life. In contrast, in Pakistan, many people find that most of their income goes toward paying essential expenses like electricity and gas bills, leaving limited resources for other needs or savings. This makes it challenging to live comfortably and enjoy a higher quality of life.

Understandable! You mean to say all this has brought down agriculture. And now the talented youth does not want to engage in agricultural ventures, or even invest in it.

I completely agree with you, Muzamil. To add to that, in the coming years, those who can identify people’s needs and create simple, effective solutions will lead the way. Just as property has been a major asset, eCommerce is set to become the next big frontier on a global scale. By 2030, we’re likely to see around 80% of businesses worldwide, including in Pakistan, moving to eCommerce. Personal branding and online marketing will become essential skills. Fast forward to 2035, many of those going abroad today may return as investors, creating a transformative impact on Pakistan’s economy. This shift has the potential to position Pakistan as a hub of productivity and innovation, filled with people full of hope and potential. (Insha’Allah)

However the turn around in economic indicators will depend upon two factors 1. how the government enforce the policies to discourage real estate busisness over manufacturing 2. banks start financing industry and SME 's with lower mark up . Govt must make efforts to generate cheaper electric power to the industry
Really liked this content. Hope is the most important element which you have given here. Special emphasis on ‘tameez’ and ‘khandani ‘ and values in behaviour which are vital elements too.
I'm curious, how do you plan out your research framework for economic-related videos? any specific articles or news outlets you follow to gain insight and make future projections?
Let's just agree to disagree. Somethings don't change, and fundamentals are one of them i.e. Roti, kapra, makaan, pani. With DOLLARIZATION of economy, the price of these commodities will have a proportional surge following the SUPPLY-DEMAND curve, thus the net social mobility will remain almost zero. That's just how economy works. Though DOLLAR EARNERS might have some edge, yet the elite class (atleast in a monetary sense) will be comprised of those who will learn the core principle --- BUILDING SYSTEMS, INSTEAD OF OFFERING SERVICES. It's more about mindset rather than technology. We should build systems that build products rather than offer services. Moreover, entring elite space (in true sense) is about having courage to fight the status quo. Its a negative-sum game with only 1 survivor. Its not about money. It never was. *** Posted by CEO and founder of a tech. Startup ***

Only good quality education could turn things around. Now, in current situation, at least one person from middle or upper middle class will manage to go abroad or work in freelancing and earn in dollars, while rest of the family chills, and follow social media trends showing off their vehicles, phone etc. Ethics and morals will not improve. Also don't forget that freelancing or working overseas takes years of education. I don't see things improving unless following steps take place. 1) Reduce government expense 2) Increase exports by creating new or running the existing industry. 3) Equal quality education 4) Control extremism

This is such a great, informative video, Jazak Allah khair for your efforts. I would like to add two things. 1. I haven't seen that many Pakistanis being grateful to Allah for whatever blessings they have. Everyone seems to be complaining about something, even though they are eating meat everyday while they house help struggle to get clean water. Showing gratitude will increase us in our blessings. 2. We need to do everything with a purpose. And that purpose should be something noble, with keeping Allah in mind. Ask yourself is my education, job, business, time helping anyone? Is it helping my neighbours and my fellow citizens? Or is it taking away jobs and resources from other. Or is this just for me and my family? If we're not thinking like that then we can't blame others for being inconsiderate.

Very well articulated thesis...
By importing products from China and reselling them in local markets, along with the focus of real estate elites on property investment, we've seen a significant decline in the value of our industrial and export sectors. That's why, until 90s people used to enjoy their earnings and were content with what they made, as they were educated and lived within their means.
Progress doesn’t just happen on its own - it takes skilled policymakers who are empowered to create policies that support export-focused manufacturing and software development. Pakistan needs the right people and policies to drive meaningful change. We must focus on creating systems that empower entrepreneurs (policies + loans + export support + mentoring + network with global companies & entrepreneurs) and tackling the issues of mafias and cartels that are present in EVERY SINGLE industry so that 'sharif and parhay likhay' people can become successful businessmen
