I hear you Muzamil Bachay. Been a citizen of Pakistan much longer than you. Seen how our best talent had to leave the country due to perverse incentives. Pakistan's problem is more moral than economic. It is the hypocracy which breaks my heart. I hear that in your words as well.
All we can do is say what's right, do our own job well and pray to Allah Almighty.
You are definitely doing that. I am trying to do that too. Some other genuine people as you call them are trying their best.
So Baita on basis of that.... I don't think we are heading towards doom.
    Trust in Allah Almighty.
    Keep up your good work

This is probably the first time I’m going to comment on a video in years. This level of understanding of monetary systems and understanding ‘’Value’’ in video is priceless. Not only in Pakistan but in the whole world people have lost the sense of creating wealth by means of creating/adding value and everyone is focused on pumping and dumping fiat currencies. People need to gear up start focusing on productivity, otherwise these bubbles are going to keep bursting and at large everyone is going to end up being enslaved.
I would really pray for you to keep raising awareness on these subjects.
    JazakAllah ❤

Hi Muzamil, One key issue is that scaammy individuals often possess great charisma and excellent communication skills, particularly in sales, which makes them very successful in attracting people. On the other hand, many successful businesses that genuinely add value tend to be more technical and focus on building systems, making it harder for them to gain attention. This also ties into basic human psychology, where people often prefer to conserve energy and take the easier route.
Those who aim to create genuine value will undoubtedly benefit greatly from your discussions, so keep up the fantastic work! I was inspired by your insights and started my own startup in Estonia as a result.

I created a feasibility report a few months ago on producing rice husk plates. After calculating the costs, I realized that Chinese manufacturers are able to produce the same product at a cost that is ten times lower than ours. The cost of making one plate is around 3 rupees in China, while in Pakistan, just the labor cost alone is 10 rupees per plate. This highlights how much more cost-efficient manufacturing is in countries like China and India compared to ours. Given the rising inflation and the challenges we face, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for us to compete with these lower production costs. How can we, as a nation, cope with these economic challenges?

First challenge is to make your mind that you can do it
Second, don't try to play the same game, we cannot compete with China and India at this time, what you can do is Quality and Taste, our people love to purchase iPhone, imported food product just for their quality.
Then it is not only the product, you will have many crocodile in the market, internal and external (big industry giants) , you also need a strategy to save and sale your product

I am not an expert but from the recent videos of muzammil i can refer is that:
take into account the current world politics, trump announced a couple of tariffs on countries with whom there is a trade deficit. These countries included China, India, Canada etc. and taking into account the billions of dollars of goods that would be cut off from directly going from e.g china to america you could redirect those goods from china to america. As in you could be a middle man between china and america because there are no such tariffs imposed on Pakistan because Pakistan doesn't export much to america anyway.
Source: Muzammil's recent video about why CPEC is more important to china than it is to Pakistan
      i hope this helps.

I found it very logical and ethical, and I can’t agree with you more on just about every topic you discussed. So glad I watched till the very end because it gives me some hope in the youth and future of Pakistan. One of the best if not, the best video from a Pakistani content creator that I’ve seen in years. I agree with you on earning genuinely, both ethically and morally. When I was younger and heard about Double Shah in my area, my first question was the same: if he's paying double, he must be earning at least triple. Since they never explained the business model, my analysis at the time was that it was a scam-which was later proven true, but regarding Islamic banking, I watched your other podcast. In my opinion, I would take a similar approach to what people say about democracy: 'Let it continue for at least 10-15 years to show results.' Once Islamic banking is fully implemented, people will delve into the finer details, and I hope, InshaAllah, it will steer in the right direction.

Your questioning with the guest is remarkable, to the point and extracting deep thoughts. I am a retired guy living currently abroad with about 42 years experience of oil and petrochemical industry. So I guess my lenses of seeing performance of a promising young guy like you cannot be in absolute error. Please ignore negative comments, our last 75 years as a Pakistani was a tragedy and pray that it end soonest but sadly I witnessed it. The negative comments are because so many people have not seen good. Keep up the good work and we wish you best of luck, good life and good health. Ameen

Muzamil bhai, In an age where attention spans are fleeting, creating a 49-minute video that captivates viewers is truly remarkable. I have a question regarding the current trend of encouraging people to start e-commerce businesses-where the formula seems as simple as selecting a product, running Facebook ads, and selling in the Pakistani market. Do you believe this model is sustainable in the long term? Can it be considered a valuable, future-proof skill, or does it risk being perceived as just another get-rich-quick scheme? How do you see the future of e-commerce in such a dynamic landscape?

Great video. Wish I had watched this before yesterdays baithak, where we touched on long term investing strategies . Im seeing a lot of people around me losing their moral compass and values by getting sucked into the glitz and glamour lifestyle they are being over exposed to through social media. Also, our shortened attention spans & general hopelessness in the political/economic environment has reduced our ability as a nation to think both critically & communally. Given the part of the global economic cycle we’re in, this is the time to sit patiently, strategize and place our chips according to the changing world order

Okay wow. I was totally hooked throughout these 48 minutes. This is the kind of information no one would give you for free. Too bad we don't have these types of conversations going on. I'll talk about myself. I'm a freelance medical writer - a WFH mom. I don't, in fact, almost never, come across people who talk about these things at all. Either they're least bothered about what's right vs. what's wrong or they keep looking for get-rich-quick schemes or just "get-rich" schemes. Nothing wrong in yearning for more money/wealth but like you said, it should come in exchange for some value. Some 3-4 years back I started investing in crypto, and I faced both losses and gains, but quickly realized it was not right. The fact that you've to keep an eye on the pump-dump cycle so "you" make money at the cost of others losing their money didn't seem right to me. Like you said, we need to critically analyze things and not cross the line. May Allah keep us steadfast and away from any gains that don't come in exchange for genuine value or impact.

Muzammil bhai I definitely agree with you. These Young Millenials and Gen Z people are influenced more by this gitz and glam and the money. People actually forget the true value lies in being humble. I hope that we realise this and make ourselves better first, because then we only we would only interact or engage with content that we think is worthy. It all lies in the mind, you can meet and see everyone, but you should only get influenced by people that hold actual substance.

I have very similiar stance on what you shared, what's more unfortunate is that even our highly educated class is trapped into this mindset, and not adding any value for years of education they garnered, i have been doing freelance and there is tons of shady practices involved and people will go below the belt all the time to just cash it out for least amount of time and become talk of the town, there is literally no wealth generation mindset, nothing valuable discussion comes out any binance ,real estate gurus selling online.
Alhumdulilah, these things made less impact on me and I already know its going to take around 5-10 years of work, ambition to actually become a decent individual that provides value to the society, and that's what I am doing, The year is 3rd :)

Mortality is at an all time low in Pakistan at this moment. Because of the worsening economic situation ponzi schemes are at an all time high I agree. Unfortunately the leaders we seek improvement to our life from are themselves low in morality. Be it influencers, Religious leaders, Politicians, Technocrats, Businessmen...
