I so agree with you. I am struggling a bit with stopping my HIIT workouts. I started doing yoga and walking every day, and then lifting weights twice a week in a calm way because I was really overexercising before. We all need to find the form of exercise that makes us feel good, rather than killing ourselves in our workouts!!

Most vegan youtubers spend so much of their days working out with a rigid routine, and I'm not saying that's bad, but I think it puts a message out there that in order to be your healthiest, that's what you need to do. It's all about organic potatoes, I'm gutted because tesco in uk have stopped selling them last month. Go for organic carrots too, they are second to none, I won't buy normal, amazing food :) you have inspired me a lot! Just what I've needed :) thank you x
Hi Caitlin! I was wondering what your thoughts on vegetarians are. I like to think of myself as a plant-based vegetarian. I try to eat limited amounts of animal products at home except for eggs and Greek yogurt. The most animal products I eat is when I eat with my non-vegetarian family. I want to be vegan and I tried it for a month and really liked it. But I figured I would wait until I moved out by myself so it wouldn't be quite as difficult. Thanks :)
I think vegetarianism is great compared to a standard American diet but it would never be an end "goal" for me as the dairy and egg industries are actually way crueler than the meat industry. Many people use it to transition though and if that's what you're currently doing I definitely think you are taking a step in the right direction :)

no caffeine because you like energy from "real sources like plants"? You do know what coffee beans are, right? yerba mate is another good plant-based source for caffeine
I'm sorry if you perceived this as aggressive. It certainly wasn't meant to sound that way. I absolutely agree with that point though. Caffeine dependency is as bad as any addiction.
Where did you get the bowl and spoon? I noticed you freeze your bananas whole and then cut them before blending. I peel and cut them and then put them in a freezer bag to freeze. Saves me a bit of time and frozen fingers😊
If I cut them smaller then the pieces get all stuck together and it's a lot easier to chisel out large banana pieces and cut them once they have melted a bit than to take a LOT of small pieces out for me :)

Hi Caitlin. I have a question about calories. Do you track your calories? I've been vegan for 12 years, but when I try to make my diet healthier, I tend to lose a little weight and then gain it all back a month later. I've heard other youtubers mention that that could be a symptom of not getting enough calories in until I eventually cave and end up binging on vegan junk. I wonder if I should track my calories but I absolutely hate the time it takes to write every little thing down as I make a meal. Thoughts?
