Iberian Lynx hydrating

A female Iberian Lynx (Lynx pardinus) is drinking from a pool during daytime. Nowadays Iberian Lynxes (also known as Spanish Lynx) are not as rare as they were 20 years ago, when the species was at the brink of extinction. The current population of wild animals is close to 2000 animals, making an encounter in suitable habitat not unlikely.
