Maybe I'm wrong, but it seems like our surprise at how powerful these consoles will be is for two big reasons. 1) Obviously, console manufacturers get discounts for buying in massive bulk. 2) PC part manufacturers have been overpricing parts for so long that we don't understand how console parts prices could be so cheap.
People also forget, that the prices on console games tend to be really high, drop slow and dont have a competitive sellers market / forced shops / stores/apps. So long term you pay a lot more for the software. (edit: i just dont know how we'll get nvidia to drop prices back to a realistic level since there isnt a intel-AMD battle)
A couple things to bear in mind: Economies of scale, and where the console money actually is. Console manufacturers can make massive orders and get considerable discounts. The end goal isn't breaking even on the console; its to sell enough games over the life of the console to make bank. Sony, MS's game division and Nintendo are all *very* much aware of that.
Not only that, but they are using BGA(Ball Grid Array) SMD(Surface Mount Device) versions of the tech here as well where everything is soldered onto the mainboards, so that further reduces cost as well in volume orders compared to PC. Far as Nintendo they have stated they don't sell their hardware at a loss, the make a profit even if it's only a small profit on each hardware unit sold, and they stretch their life cycles out so long that by the end of it they can reduce the prices because the hardware had become so cheap to make, plus they rarely use the latest, and greatest hardware either, which also helps reduce cost. Nintendo is more about the games, and the experience.
Also, they get money from selling games and other offers like PS memberships. It's like printer companies selling printers at a loss because they make money through selling ink. That's also why console games cost a lot more than PC games.
@@DimiS1978 I'm not talking just about the Switch/Switch Lite family of systems, but Nintendo over the years since the Famicom going forward, and how they operate as a company.
@@CommodoreFan64 plus you are paying for a dumb downed locked up "pc" with only one storage drive maximum, they are going all digital from what i heard as well but not likely. either way you can only use it for games and nothing more when a pc can do so much more plus emulate or pirate albeit for a demo or just outright yoink lol. and as you said everything is soldered so if something fail's on mainboard or cpu/gpu you pretty much need to buy another console especially since they like to lock in serial codes to everything so it can't be modified. i initially built a gaming rig for emulating and movies, used my ps4 for gaming.. long story short a cord snagged my ps4 causing it to fall a short amount but the hdmi yanked and damaged the port. been using my gaming rig since and havent looked back. if i cant swap the board myself if something is damaged i dont want it.
MS / Sony can afford to sell the console at a loss when they generate revenue from game sales through their respective stores and the monthly subscriptions.
How much do you think can afford $100, $200 or $300 I'm can't believe that next console could cost $500 I'm thinking more like $600, if all that specs are true. But what I know!
500 dollars seems like a massive gap to fill with game sales and ps+ I had a PS4 for like 4 years and bought ps+ all the way 60 dollars a year. That is 240 plus game sales on a console that wasn't anything special
$299 for the series S. It's powered down versus the X, but still, $299!! You literally can't build ANYTHING for that money. They are obviously going to be losing money on the hardware, but they just figure that if they sell 20 million units and a million people sign up for gamepass, they'll make it back in a few years.
"Phil and I cannot for the life of us figure out how the heck they can make this work for that price point." It has been the case in the past that the consoles were sold at a loss and the difference was more than made up for in licensing fees on the games.
Surely the effect of selling millions of exactly the same harware helps in price reduction. PC stuff, compared to it, is all very low volume and lots of variants - makes it a lot more expensive. I'm sure the business case for the consoles in total is far positive, the companies are there to earn money. Hardware might start a a slight loss for first couple months, then production gets more efficient and it turns to a small positive margin. Then on top all the earnings from games and service....
Conclusion: have fun, let the industries compete against each other, and get cheaper and better products. No matter the platform, as long as it does what you need it to do.
What about the controller price and the case price? Funny this guy conveniently didn't mention these prices and pick the crappiest power supply he could find and admitted he would never use in his systems...
I'm just glad we are seeing some technological leaps here. I hope that all this also translates into cheaper prices of PC hardware tho, since most of us are gonna play catch-up.
You and me both. Either AMD has done some voodoo black magic to make a 2080ti killer for 300 bucks or console fans are going to be shocked at the price tag this upcoming generation. Either way it should be interesting. I'm rooting for the black magic, even though PC will be playing second fiddle to consoles it still means we get a huge leap on the cheap. Or I guess a third option is that this is all marketing hype and we will see 2060 level performance from consoles.
@@Sophistry0001 uh as far as i know the series x is about as powerful as a 2060 or 2060super while the ps5 might be up to a 2080 which is still both insane. However we already know the pricing is gonna be around that 500$ mark for both consoles they cant take such a large loss going down below that. Even that price is pretty harsh for the specs. If you think about it alone the cost of a 2060 is around 300+$ new. Of course using oem parts from the oem themself is a bit different with special deals and buys they do get it a bit cheaper. However we already know there is a reason why they have horrible services and all this bullcrap you have to purchase which makes up the cost of losing hardware sales.
Yulfine idk what you’ve been hearing, but the Xbox series X is more powerful (on paper), BUT, the PS5’s ssd is significantly better than the XSX ssd (on paper).
That’s gonna be the only thing to separate pc from console. And the 3070 alone has the price point of a next gen console. In an economical sense console is way better. But if you have the money to upgrade to stay ahead of the game then pc would be the better choice.
@Supari Bhau more like 420$ per system lifetime. So 840$ if you get both. Not to mention they tend to come out with multiple versions of the same system costing you another 3 to 500$ per upgrade (depending on trade in values) so in a sense pc can be an economical choice if you choose to wait for the technology to become available at your price point.
@Supari Bhau I do believe pc is the better choice at “future proofing” but if you tend to be the type of person like I used to be that always wants the latest technology then pc can definitely be more costly. I have learned that most of the time it is best to just wait out the storm and be patient and build to the technology available at a good price point. Look at 4K it took 5 years since it was released to be actually be used to its potential without costing a ridiculous amount for content.
Not the games as much as the online services. They can easily make 300 dollars or more off of you over the lifetime of the console for just access to multi-player.
Thats why there's such a long gap between consoles generations. They launch in the red and have to wait years for game sales and online service prices to put them back in the green
Two points: 1. Building a PC yourself from Parts, the hardware will cost more since there are more materials involved (e.g. console has everything on one PCB) and more "steps" before the hardware reaches your hands (Wholesale markup, Retail markup....) 2. Console hardware is sold at a loss. The profit comes from game sales.
What about the controller price and the case price? Funny this guy conveniently didn't mention these prices and pick the crappiest power supply he could find and admitted he would never use in his systems...
Also: Games, especially new ones, are often 10-20% more expensive on console than on PC, multiplayer on PC does NOT require a subscription. ( and then: mods)
Why tho? the 2080ti is the equivalent of the new consoles so that means that the 3070 is now the equivalent but that's still $500! you basically just bought the console with that money. What he's literally talking about here is price-to-performance. you cannot build a PC under $500 that will give you the performance of those consoles.
@@oscarchavez4167 Just because it would be interesting to see. Those consoles are so incredibly priced that its impossible to complete. But if you're a mouse and keyboard guy then there's not much you can do about it
@@eldridgecoutinho2674 buy the console and plug in a mouse and keyboard theres support for some games now. Plus gaming performance is half of the story. if you're going to go to pc it's probably because you're going to do more than just gaming. I thought the console was capped at 120, wouldn't it make the equivalence of the 2080ti irrelevant? Yall should really get a pc if you care about performance this much.
Great video Jay. One other thing you missed. The whole I/O pipeline is optimised for speed and to remove bottlenecks in a way a PC and Windows don’t currently do. As you said It will be really interesting to see how the PC architecture responds to this, it’s really healthy that consoles are pushing forward the PC space. This is good for everyone.
Yea both consoles have dedicated decompression blocks to take load off the CPU not to mention kraken and the Velocity architecture. The way the I/O pipeline works being able to use around 100Gb of storage as a 'RAM' pool this will be very difficult for PC to replicate due to the nature of an open system.
Chris Moule Not really. He said “consoles are optimised. Games all run on the same hardware” this is addressing the fact that if you had an equivalent spec PC to console the console should usually run better because games can be and are optimised SPECIFICALLY for that exact hardware set up, whereas PC there are an infinite number of options of hard drive, GPU, cpu etc. This doesn’t mention the new I/O pipeline at all which is a HUGE bottleneck on PC and Windows and current gen consoles. The next-gen consoles have been built from the ground up to address this.
Sony and MS have always sold consoles at a loss and made up for the loss through licensing costs of games that run on said console. Nintendo though, they always make sure they make money on every single sale of their consoles.
that's actually a legit move. and obviously the devs would pay for the devkit on the newer console, more profit. i see a win win situation for both sony and consumer
They lose few tens of dollars per console sold, here Jay is saying few hundreds per console, it's not the same thing. Maybe that's why Sony wants to increase game price by $10 lol, selling hardware at a huge loss and getting it back in games
They also only pay a fraction of the parts prices for the consumer, because the buy millions. New consoles where always impressive, but the stay at that level for year's
Me. I bought a damn 2080ti in like June of 2020.... Had no idea nVidia was going to crippler it with a half-priced card with double the performance in less than 6 months.
AND it only works once there´s a few years after the console release, to allow the pc hardware to go down in price to a range were it makes sense because hitting that 500/600€ pricepoint with the same output right now might be impossible.
I don't think there will be a PS5 killer hardware option for PCs for a while though. We might be able to match the CPU and GPU, but the custom hardware there will enable gaming experiences that the PC and Xbox series X just can't match for a while yet... Although if we get GPUs that can address storage on its own and faster storage (more then PCI-e 4.0 as the PS5 is better at prioritizing the data and compressing/decompressing it then the standardized PC hardware on the market) we might be able to match it then. So PCI-e 5.0 and some extra CPU cores to take care of compression and decompression and extra memory and VRAM and perhaps we'll be able to match a PS5.
@@kurok1tenshi it's not might, it IS impossible. They've got backdoor deals and exclusive contracts that make their parts way cheaper to buy and use. We don't get that same luxury
@@Luredreier it will stay pretty expensive for a while but you can argue that the ps5 ssd can be matched by having 64 or 128gb of ram. @@syed2694 yes but there is only so much they can do. Sony is not getting parts for under production cost either so if there is fierce competition in the pc space we will see prices near the consoles for the same hardware.

Your Ifixit ad is one of the only ads I actually want to watch on youtube. 🤣 Also I wonder if the series X is gen4 compliant and just using a gen3 nvme for lower unit price? Might be worth opening it up to try.
More than likely to save on cost. As gen4 becomes more mainstream and is on all motherboards for a lower price, they will more than likely support gen4. It doesn’t affect gaming load times all that much now anyway, so there’s no point in spending extra on something built mainly for gaming.

And, I think it makes more sense because if there's using it in a console, then power consumption would be a factor to be considered, and the 35-45 watt configurable TDP of the chip makes it a reasonable contender. They could be using some custom BIOS and power delivery to keep it running at a sustained 3.7/3.8 GHz and it would still be cooler and consume less power. It is also a physically smaller die size than the 3700, which, again, is more suitable to a restricted form factor, like that of a console, where the CPU and GPU are pretty much stuck together.

I'm really glad you made this video. There's so much hyperbole out there during a console prelaunch. As a former game retail employee. Companies can ALWAYS lose tons of money on the consoles. It's all about the attach rate and the long term. Think like the distinction between a Quadro and a GeForce. We always think in the here and now, but there's so much B2B and contracts and long term deals that all end up making it hard to conceptualize a rational price prediction for consoles most of the time
Yup. That's what a lot of people don't realize. All the console companies put these consoles out at a loss. It's been that way for years now. They recoup that loss through ongoing sales, and partnerships with game companies. That's not to mention each company has a subscription service, etc... They can afford that loss because it gives them greater market capture. The console buying market is much larger than the PC gaming market, and ongoing sales are much greater.
Not to mention hes pricing PC parts at retail prices. I get the point but its not an apples to apples comparison. Consoles and PCs have their own unique cost advantages.
I am glad as well. Because a lot of tech youtubers are just making the "console killers" videos and using ignorance to make money off from them. Which it did made them dicks about it, although they do gain views and subscriptions. And Jayz2cents may have been the first tech youtuber to end the charade. A lot of PC gamers (PC master Race/PC Fanboys) either know it and blatantly come up with ways to disown the consoles, or they only think that the consoles is inferior to PC because the consoles doesn't give out ultra graphics at 1080p with ultra high refresh rate. Which it was completely unreasonable and couldn't be accomplished then (with the hardware at that time).

You have to remember that consoles are typically sold at a loss with the money being made back using Xbox live/ps+ or whatever these subscription services were called and the games with Sony/Microsoft getting a considerable cut of the money you pay for them.
No one cares. Once people hack the console you will be able to install some Linux distro with Wine and play PC games on it. Console is inferior because you don't have root access to the hardware and can't run your own software on it.
Both MS and Sony made $5 profit on the consoles at the beginning of the gen. They've not taken a loss on the consoles they've released since early last gen.
noone will truly know the cost of these units outside Sony and MS, we compare to pc components at rrp. Sony and MS will have a 8-10 yr deal for millions of units so no doubt it its sold way less than rrp, so a console at £500 seems too good to be true but if you are talking a deal for millions of units over time then i suspect the cost actually on the consoles are the rrp or slightly less. For me thats looking at buying a pc (previously prebuilt) this viseo highlights my issue. To build a pc comparable to ps5 i have to sink prob double the price, and before case, kbm combo etc. This makes xbox one x and ps5 so tempting and leaving pc gaming for a year or so until new hardware comes out cheaper and more affordable and making a pc down the line.
I don't know why all of these comments are saying that this video didn't age well. The xbox is $500, and the 3070 alone (a comparable graphics card) is also $500. Console killers, for the first time, now seem impossible, and this video aged like fine wine.

The only problem I have with the 3300x, is that it's simply too close to pricing to the 3600. 3300x is only 35 euros behind the 3600. Edit: If it's just for gaming I'd still go 3300x.
"You can't build a console killer this time" My god, what demons did they summon to do this. But as some one who's always had console while constantly watching and learning about stronger PC's it does bring a smile to my face.
You cant build a console killer cause prices are all over the place and the 3000 series gpus and 3rd ryzen hasnt launched yet. Once they launch [if the crisis is over as well] you will be able to build something MUCH better than a console for the same price. On top of that, the system jay speced out, would have a much better processor than a console.

Captain Essa Ain’t it all just preference? Can’t help but cringe at people who look too deep into phone specs. Like why do I need 12gb of ram on a phone??????
Definitely. It will cost way more money than it's worth trying to build a PC that will surpass these upcoming consoles. Cost vs performance will not make any sense when spending so much may possibly provide only a slight (and pretty much unnoticeable) difference in performance over what these consoles are capable of. Some people just like spending unnecessary money for nothing. I spent just shy under $500 for an RX 5700 XT that killed my M/B a month ago. Hell, neither of the new systems will cost as much as just that GPU costed alone. Good thing it did do what it did, because it happened in enough time for me to get a refund from it before sending my PC off for repairs. Now I'm super content going back to my 1660 super until the new consoles drop. I'm done messing around with upgrading PCs. My GPU and CPU was easily just under $1000 by themselves. Not to mention the cost for other necessary components. My set up is easily over $1600 and it definitely ain't killing anything in terms of these next gen consoles... so the question is, at (literally) what cost is one willing to go to to build a console killer that would only ultimately end up being comparable? I'm already willing to bet that both next gen systems are going to over shadow my (over) $1500 set up right now.

Jay, I remember following AMD's business strategy ~2017 when Ryzen was launched and there was a news article showing their business strategy. I can't find it now, but I remember they said for CPUs they would continue to focus on it (Ryzen and EPYC were doing great), but GPUs they were really planning to put all their R&D money into PS5/XBox. At the time, AMD's stock was ~$9 a share and the overall company value limited their R&D budget vs NVIDIA. They planned to focus on putting out awesome tech in the PS5/Xbox so it would be guaranteed sales (as you said). The big sales numbers and guaranteed revenue would allow a bigger R&D budget to focus on PCs. I just think at the time they didn't have money for R&D to compete with Nvidia and Intel at the time. Very similar to your theory. Wish I had that article still.
Switched to pc from console and honestly both are great, im glad the new consoles are gonna be beasts but ill probably stay on pc because 2 screens and multi tasking.
Well inorder to compete with theses consoles, amd and nvidia both will release competitive stuff which will be better than those consoles, if lion is silent doesn't mean he can't rip you off
I used IFixit to fix my life, I overclocked my brain to 500 GHz and overclocked my speed to 320 GHz and now, I can handle more tasks and endure a little bit more
I don't think they will release at $500. In the last few years we have seen 'high end' graphics cards go from $300-400 to $1200+. We've seen flagship mobile/cell phones go from $400-500 to $1000+. People are willing to spend money on tech and so they have the freedom to go for the higher performance hardware. The list price doesn't seem to put people off anymore. If they do not cover the cost of the hardware in the price of the console itself, they'll increase the price of games, peripherals (extra controllers etc. are a lot more expensive than they used to be) and online subscriptions instead.
I'm willing to bet both companies have marketing and sales teams collecting as much survey data as they can figuring out just how high a price the market will be willing to bear. Keep in mind that yes, people have been willing to spend more on high end electronics in the last few years but the global economy has taken one hell of a hit this year and there won't be terrific economic news coming for the rest of this year. We're looking at a very lean holiday buying season this year and both companies will desperately want to appear to move product during the initial months (bad sales on release can get your product tagged a failure and cause a death spiral). Both companies might well eat a loss on each console because they don't want to give up market share and expect to make it back later.
@@paranoidrodent Don't forget consoles require subscriptions to connect multiplayer and then the game library subscriptions over that so a small loss initially can lead to a profit in the mid to long term.
I don't know about Sony, but MS can easily sell it for a loss at $500 because of 1.) they opened up their library to be included on PC, which means more money on software sales and 2.) the revenue they get from their subscription, including XBL and all the different versions of Game Pass, is making them bank right now and 3.) As a company, the possess the capital to be able to take a hit like that from selling the console at a loss.
@NebuleR A "large audience" based on what metrics? Where is your data for that claim? The most recent stat I found for the average age of gamers, is 34 and although you can find demographics that show the percentage of gamers by age group, this is for ALL gamers, across PC and console. I have not seen an age stat that separates PC gamers from console gamers. . Furthermore, what do you even mean by "kids?" the lowest age group surveyed for stats is 18-24 year olds. And although they have the highest percentage of gamers at around 16%, do you consider them "kids?" Anybody younger than that, I've seen are no stats for them. Besides, age alone isn't even accurate for your claim - income is, and it doesn't even need to be their own income, as many people will receive new consoles (and PC's) as gifts from others. So largely I see your comment as baseless and irrelevant.
But a 3070 (even good as it is) is not a full machine like the series x and the usage of rtx3070 is different. It can be used for pro apps. Xbox is solely designed to gaming. The optimization of series x is better. But rtx3070 for a pc gaming and pro usage is very good
Barry MacDonald You are actually crazy, right? Look at the Rx 6800 with 60 CUs and a 1.815ghz clock speed which is 10-30+% faster than the 3070 in a variety of games, and now look at the Series X gpu which has just 8 CUs less and a slightly higher clock speed of 1.825ghz.. Dont forget that to play online you have to pay 60-80 euros per year. If you want to play online for the next 5 years that will be 300- 400 euros (on average 350 euro) so thats 850 euro if you want to have an xbox/ps5 with online support for the lifespan. On top of that add in the fact that you will need seperate accesoires (like headset, TV if you dont have a good one already, extra controllers etc) and you get realistically expect to pay around 1000 euros if you want to get most out of the console. remember that you can only play games/ multi media while the PC has windows with way more options ofcourse. Also consoles are barely upgradeable and dont support mods like the PC (with exceptions ofc). All these extras is the reason the pc is sometimes 2x as expensive, but its worth it IMO.
120 frames tops and destiny 2 plays at 60 on new consoles hahaha 220 frames easy pc plus get free online and all games lol
@fane babanu you can do get tha performance with a 500$ pc: You buy last gen amd GPU and this gen ryzen cpu and you are there
@fane babanu they always say that but never provide specs
People also forget, that the prices on console games tend to be really high, drop slow and dont have a competitive sellers market / forced shops / stores/apps.
So long term you pay a lot more for the software.
(edit: i just dont know how we'll get nvidia to drop prices back to a realistic level since there isnt a intel-AMD battle)
fane babanu not saying your wrong but the press release says 4K and up to 120fps those two will not be together I’m sure.
@@CommodoreFan64 Pretty sure they make an easy $100 on each console. The hardware is not that great. And a 720p screen costs next to nothing.

Surely the effect of selling millions of exactly the same harware helps in price reduction. PC stuff, compared to it, is all very low volume and lots of variants - makes it a lot more expensive.
@Supari Bhau I do believe pc is the better choice at “future proofing” but if you tend to be the type of person like I used to be that always wants the latest technology then pc can definitely be more costly.
16:59 - he said that.
Big Jus Exactly. It will be interesting to see what the PC space does to try and address this imbalance.
Consoles pushing what forward? Its still pc pushing things forward.
Sony and MS have always sold consoles at a loss and made up for the loss through licensing costs of games that run on said console.
Nintendo though, they always make sure they make money on every single sale of their consoles.
Nintendo also makes sure to make money off of content creators featuring games using their product.

More than likely to save on cost. As gen4 becomes more mainstream and is on all motherboards for a lower price, they will more than likely support gen4. It doesn’t affect gaming load times all that much now anyway, so there’s no point in spending extra on something built mainly for gaming.
It's amazing how I never get tired of that iFixit ad. I saw it in the video preview and immediately clicked!
Both Sony and MS will buy their parts in bulk we're talking millions of units with huge savings.
but discount won't be that much that it is 500 bucks to buy the parts
Actually... most companies lose money on consoles when they first release. Look at the ps3 600$ and they were still losing 200$ per unit.
I can't math, but i think they do expect a loss, but how many units would they have to sell to make up the loss?
@@patrickfitzwater5511 They usually make up that money through software sells and accessories. But it's going to take some time to get that cash back, all they want is marketshare during the first months of the console wars

@Ring-a-ding-ding baby even if the consoles can get close to matching the 2080ti (they don't. I don't know why people aren't talking about it, but there is another 8C/16T Zen 2 CPU that could hit those clock speeds. Those consoles could be using a heavily customized 4800H.

They rarely lose money on them, they usually just don’t make a profit on it
Not to mention hes pricing PC parts at retail prices. I get the point but its not an apples to apples comparison. Consoles and PCs have their own unique cost advantages.
They lost nothing on ps4 and xbox one because of how much they lost on 360 and ps3

At least at launch, yeah. This gen MS has sold all their consoles at a loss all gen, Sony sold them at a profit except for the first year.
@@kraenk12 No, they both sold them at a profit, after selling every console at a loss before that.

@ mine can see up to 5$ for a monitor. What now?
Ok idiots
I don't thinck it works like that games evolve as well yknow
60 frames
Scientists and researchers working on this topic believe that the human brain perceives reality at a rate somewhere between 24 - 48 fps. There is also a study that the human eye can see until 60 frames per second but we can only recognize 40 frames per second.
Fight me pleb
Jay’s battle cry can still be heard to this day...
iiiiii FIXXXX ITTTTT!!!🛠🛠
consoles have always had the advantage when it comes to price. The economics are straightforward. They also sell their own exclusive games for the systems and thats a big revenue stream
Not exactly...long term console is more expensive
That intro makes me want to buy the entire of ifixit

Wait for 2022 to build a console killer, in the meantime, just be glad consoles are helping push the medium forward.
Push the medium forward? Phil Spencer said older hardware doesn't hold games back.
Honestly I don’t think they will be $500 I’m thinking $699
Rebel XD rumor is the consoles will be 800
@@matrix9452 You actually listen to Phil Spencer? My condolences.
It's O.K. I'm late to the party too!
P.S. I had to stop the vid at 0:47 to give a thumbs up and write this. Loved your IFixIt add, it's hilarious in a fun way.
2:35 "has a Vega 64" - Man i have made many mistakes, but this purchase was the worst
I love my vega 56
Don't worry about it. It could be worst.
same here, switched it for a 1080 but now no one wants to buy the vega :D
Vega 56 for $190 was the best purchase I've made. Tweaked I'm getting around 1080/2070 performance.
Vega is still pretty good for compute tho.

DUDE BEST IFIXIT AD EVER (BEST TH-cam SPONSORSHIP PROMOTION EVEN!!!)
I see you offended a good amount of fanboys with this video. They hated him because he spoke the truth, Jay 2:Cents.
Switched to pc from console and honestly both are great, im glad the new consoles are gonna be beasts but ill probably stay on pc because 2 screens and multi tasking.
good.
makes sense
Ugh, dual screen peasant...
Only joking of course.
I still prefer the PC as a platform, but the next gen consoles are looking impressive.
Well inorder to compete with theses consoles, amd and nvidia both will release competitive stuff which will be better than those consoles, if lion is silent doesn't mean he can't rip you off
I used IFixit to fix my life, I overclocked my brain to 500 GHz and overclocked my speed to 320 GHz and now, I can handle more tasks and endure a little bit more
you'll have to replace parts sooner though
Can't wait for neurolink to go mainstream and that become a reality.
True now i can play cs go while im doing my homework, so much benefits
@Setzer K the temps are a little high so I use ice-cold liquid cooling and it consumes about 500V of power
the Ifixit ad was amazing. Thank you for the laugh. You got yourself a sub. Great video. Thank you.
@NebuleR where did you get this info ? Only 20% of console gamers are
@NebuleR
A "large audience" based on what metrics?
I was doing an online test and i brought out my ifixit kit and yo boy got an A+💪💪😁🤣

Jensen : hold my 3070 😂😂😂😂
But a 3070 (even good as it is) is not a full machine like the series x and the usage of rtx3070 is different. It can be used for pro apps. Xbox is solely designed to gaming. The optimization of series x is better. But rtx3070 for a pc gaming and pro usage is very good
Xbox series x gpu is roughly on par with the 3070 and it’s a FULL gaming machine + a 4k bluray player and has the controller and cables included.
@@basicallyiliketodosomestuf9641 you crazy right the xbox series x is nowhere near a 3070 lol
Now that should also be faster than the 3070, and that up to 17% or more..

Buying xbox has a sense when you buy Game Pass.
With GP you can play online + you have lots of games.
