- Watch the latest footage of what going on at the Gigafactory site and surrounding area. Plenty of Model Ys and Cybertrucks staged for loading on to carriers. Electrical switches at the Megapack showing they are not online yet. construction continues on the south end extension.

10:52 curved the concrete! The forms were square earlier this week. Still looks a bit weird with the vault in the middle of the curve though.

@@rtz549Ford seemed to have their act together with sign up for the free adapter and OTA updates going out. Too soon to tell if GM can match that enthusiasm.

Any idea what the 40ft blue containers with the yellow access stairs are? Two at the boring company site and five more at the main building at 10:30.
Water storage generally. Over the 3 years of construction these have been outside Paint for extended periods of time on 3 or 4 occasions (months). The earliest instance was when the Paint Shop water treatment plant first became operational.
Across the road at the New EOL building would be non-potable water for fire services. Water main over there not connected into the city supply yet. Potable water supply seems to be a separate small pipe connected into the housing estate.
Had a similar arrangement at Cathode for many months before that was connected to the city supply.
The trailers come and go all around the site. A couple at the temporary batch plant since that first became operational.
A white one at 9:47 to the right. Red one at 12:39 towards the top.
Someone once referred to the trailers as 'Frac tanks' as they are commonly used in the fracking industry.
Seen at the Berlin site also.

So much is coming together fast, and production capacity will explode as this year progresses. Imagine the following years.
Facilities for many more employees equate to a huge capacity as automation greatly amplifies each person's output.
Engineering evolves into maintenance.
6:38 I count 8 trapezoidal "robots?" stationed along rows 1 and three beside the cabinets..... What are they? What do they do? It looks like a camera on top of a pole on top of the trapezoidal body?

What if the Boring tunnel isn’t meant to transfer new cars to logistics lot?! The only reason for this tunnel to terminate inside the glass ‘welcome center’ is if it were meant to be a pedestrian moving tunnel between sites.🤔
That makes more sense than for cars, where cars can get to they other side by driving another 300yr south.
Sure seemed quiet there today.

@ 14:39 All 24 switches to the megapacks open. They have been open for the last 9 days. Since Joe's video 2/21/24 at the 22: 37 timestamp.
EDIT: Upon review, 6 out of the 24 switches are closed.

@ 11:23 (Left) Main power duct-bank..... A lot of cables need to be spliced. Some are new cables, pulled through from the Tesla Enclosure/Mega-vault south of the LCRA substation. The rest of the cables pulled out of the temporary routing through the old supercharger vault (Vault by the building, just south of the open vault). The temporary cable routing enabled the reconstruction of the duct-banks without interruption of power to the factory.

@3:05 I cannot believe we are yet to see a concrete pump doing one of the pours on the parking garage. They have done many of the lower floors but I have never seen them actually pumping concrete on either Joe or Brads videos
@@Dwayne.Shea.231 3:05. I haven't recorded one. Got one parked on the southside, some pump lines run across the ramp another time.
Lower floors probably done with a less noticeable line pump.
@@Dwayne.Shea.231 They definitely pump the concrete. Unfortunately, we've missed every one of them. On Joe's 2/12/24 video at the 14: 32 time stamp... You will see a pump hose on the left ramp.
I'm puzzled by their decision to install those monster glass panels so early in the construction of the south extension. It seems like there would be a danger of a crane operator accidentally bumping the wrong control lever and creating a very expensive pile of shattered glass.
