Absolutely loved this flytying tutorial. I really like how you describe each and every step along with the exact materials you used and why. Not many flytying videos are this explanatory. Awesome job! I would love to see more and more videos like this and onstream stuff too. Also, thank you for going over and explaining the setup you like and use and also describing each component. All in all a great video. Tons of info. It’s a keeper to be watched over and over again in the future. Thanks Jay! Take care and keep those lines tight!

Great fly tying video, thank you for the rigging instructions also!!! I really appreciate the advice on the rigging and how you fish it. One question: on the weights, I couldn’t make out what you are using, can you forward the info?

Thanks for the vid. Have you played with Euro nymphing for steelhead Jay? I have had some good luck with jig hooked egg patterns.

I really like this stonefly. One question, why white and why so long in the front legs? This should be a good anchor fly for CZ nymph fshing. Thank you Jay.

Why white rubber legs, Ask the steelhead, they like it. The length of The leg,'s for a little extra action, Plus you can always Cut shorter when needed

That is one ugly cross dresser guide fly. But I am going to try it on some educated rainbows on the Henry’s Fork box Canyon
