Very nice Jay! Thank you.
Thank you too!
I love fishing shanks!! I have adopted the school of Jerry French’s Ultra Rig. I always get the longest shanks as they are the same cost and cut/file the end. The shank helps with weight and if I need more, simple to add some eyes. Love the fly
That is awesome!
Looks good Jay...thanks!
You bet
Thank you, copy on :)
Enjoy!
Another awesome video and love how you explain everything I've tied a few of your patterning and have did well here in Michigan on them hoping one day to be able to come fish with you for steelhead or browns..
You are so welcome!
Jay, great fly tying video. Question: when fishing this fly do you use any weight above the fly or a weighted leader?
Generally went fishing these flies,I'm using either a sinking lead or Sink tips. If you're using a traditional dryline, Definitely an liter above the flight we weight. When I swing these flies,I want a clean wing. Just off the bottom but not making contact with bottom
Good lookin tube fly jay!! Im sure its a getter!! Large flies workin yet.? Or is it still a little early? Thank you sir! Fish on!
