Another great informational video streamside. I like the way you explain your setups and techniques. You do it in a way we all can understand no matter our experience. Thanks again Jay. You’re a good guy! Keep doing what you’re doing! Would love to see you catch some spring Steelies in a future video maybe. Take care and tightlines , knots and flies!
I just bought some raven gloats in 2.2gram i maybe shoulda went atleast 3gram but they should work for lighter presentations. Always appreciate your breakdowns streamside! Your a good man and fly fisherman/guide! Fish on Jay!
Thanks, Question: With a 36” tippet off the shot , don’t you floss fish? I found that I did floss too many, I shortened my tippet to range from 12” to a max of 24” just to minimize flossed fish. Tight lines
Great info thanks. Have a question. I just started Skagit Casting. Opst is great. What do you think about a moderate price rod. I have a 5 wt and 7 wt. Once again thanks.

Never the problem, However it all depends on the type for water you are fishing

Forgot to tell you single hand rods.
Depends
One piece rods can be a bit clumsy for travel. The salt water guys that Lehman devotes love them, For the durability
What's your take on hand made furled leaders?
Furled work very well. They can turn over a surprisingly Amount of inventory. Plus some rods cast them and turned them over very well
