I will just clear some misconception , jinns are sentient beings living in an alternate dimension , they aren't monsters or beasts , they can feel, think ,talk and choose .
just like us humans they can choose good or evil , they live in cities and towns ,have jobs, religion ,laws, wars ... and just like us they die.

Gin comes from the juniper berry which gives the gin its flavor and astringent quality.
"Spirit" when associated with alcohol comes from Islamic alchemy (we would call them chemists today, most likely.) As distilling liquors requires an alembic distilling apparatus which would have been limited to herbalists or alchemists.
There is no relationship between "djinn" and gin, or supernatural "spirits" with alcohol.

@@matiasdelgado7011 You have mixed up a few things here, mate.
      1. Jinns are not gods but one of the creations by the Almighty(swt). These entities are called by some as ghosts, sprits, ghouls, demons and even unwittingly as gods/goddesses by some who gets deceived by them as their wellwisher and worship them as local guardians or deties and then introduced in the folklore making it's way to their respective mythology.
      2. Jinns are of many types and reside in tribes and have inhabited the world from before the Mankind i.e. Adam/children of Adam(a.s). The satan is a jinn. The Evil one. Other Abrahamic people refer to the jinn simply as demons or sometimes as a Fallen Angel. But the difference between a jinn and angel is that Jinns have free will like Humans and can be both good or bad unlike the Angels who are ever obedient to Allah(swt).
      3. Acc. to Islam, the satan is a jinn who was a servant of God but disaobeyed God by refusing to pay respect to Adam(a.s), as a creation, as he believed that Adam(a.s) created from clay is much inferior to him who has been created from smokeless fire. So before facing the warth of the Almighty he asked for respite until the Day of Judgment and so that he can prove his case by leading Mankind astray. And God granted him permission except for those who seek refuge in the Almighty (swt).

    hey there, middle eastern here.
I wanna add few pieces of information about Jinn, my ancestors practiced witchcraft and dealt with Jinn to the point that they ran a business through it (we don't do it, plus it's so illegal that you'll immediately get executed. however I know how to in case you're curious). I know there is no reason to believe anything I say since I'm a random person in the comment section, so it's up to you lol.
it's true when you said that Jinn can't be physically killed, but there are ways to kill them.
the first method is by the Quran or the Christian and Jewish bible and this is only in extreme cases of possession when the Jinn refuses to leave the body. I know many people will disagree because those two changed over the course of time, but they're still holy books and do have an effect.
The second method is by another Jinn, usually when a Jinn breaks the Jinn law of possessing a human or showing themselves to a human (there are probably other reasons too since the Jinn all share different types of law based on tribes) they will be executed, which is why most stay inside the human body.
Now not all Jinn are evil, just like humans, some are good and some are bad, also many have different religions such as Islam, Christianity, and Jewdisim, among others.
There are more than 3 types of Jinn actually, first you have the fire, water, earth, and wind types (yes insert avatar joke).
Those are the most common types, and each type is very different than the other to the point that when you do a spell, you need to know which type to invoke in order for them to carry out the spell (i use the word spell loosely here but its mainly the jinn doing what you want, like harming someone, having them love you, etc. "spell" is just more specific).
As far as I know, only the earth type lives among us, as the wind Jinn lives in high mountains, and the water Jinn lives in the sea.
There is also a type that lives specifically in your house, those are called "the inhabiters", roughly translating the name lol. Those take the image of the people who live in the house, a perfect replica, except they are "mirrored", for example, if you're right-handed and have a mole on your right cheek, then the jinn that looks like you is left-handed and has a mole on their left cheek.
Those are good Jinn, they exist only to inhabit the space that overlaps where your house is so no other Jinn or demons would be able to live or even visit. They are so good that many witches need to force them out of the house in order to do a spell or summon a Jinn because "the inhabiters" would prevent the Jinn from visiting, thus nullifying the spell. And the only way to kick them out is by abusing the Quran and literally "burning them" so they can leave, once the spell is done, they are summoned back into the house (if you don't summon them then you are screwed lol)
I don't have a lot of knowledge about the other types because even Jinn fear and avoid them, my great-grandma worked as a "witch" (btw you are not born a witch, anyone can become one lol) said that the other types of Jinn act more like animals, they don't think, they just act out based on instinct and many don't even have a shape. Through all my research into my family's old "business", I couldn't find much information on them.
All Jinn can shapeshift into animals and humans btw, however not all can, it requires a lot of skill to do so, and only older and powerful Jinn can do it, and even then it's not a perfect shapeshift. due to the nature of jinn being born of smoke (or the tip of the flame as some might suggest), the shape they take almost always has a flaw.
most of them just possess animals since its less taxing than possessing a human (puts a lot of stress on them and the human, they feel like being suffocated)
As far as i know, there are three reasons why a jinn would possess a human, it's either that the human harmed the jinn willingly or unwillingly (going to their home and vandalizing it for example), the Jinn was summoned and was told to do so or the Jinn is in love with the person (those are a whole other story lol). Also, a Jinn can't say no to something when they are summoned, the whole "deal" thing between a human and a Jinn isn't actually all that true, while there are some extremely rare cases to why a Jinn would willingly want to help a witch out, almost all Jinn summoning is forced upon the Jinn and is basically a threat to them "do this for me or I'll burn you lol"
you might be asking "why doesn't the jinn fight back?"
If a witch protects itself properly, then they can't be harmed. The irony here is that all witches are condemned to an eternity in hell, all use the holy book to invoke and protect themselves from the Jinn.
There is a part that I really want to shed some light on, the reason why humans can't see Jinn is actually due to the king of Jinn asking god that he doesn't want his race to be seen by humans, there is no mention of a war between humans and Jinn actually. when I double-checked this fact, i was surprised to see that it was a very widespread rumor online, even in Arabic forums.
I really enjoyed your video and found it to be super fun and interesting, I really hope you don't take my comment as a negative thing, I just really wanted to share some info seeing how interested you are in stuff like this.
I can share more detailed information about them if you like, but It's a lot lol.

      a) When you use the term witch do you not mean sorcerer? A witch/warlock practices dark arts. There are various magic practices I'm pretty sure you mean something else. Maybe it's translation?
      b) From my knowledge the jinn kings are a bunch of demonic buggers so maybe you could specify the name? There are superhumans in various myths I'm pretty sure it was possible for us to go to war with them...

I grew up on djin stories my father used to tell me about the encounters he had and some of my uncles too. What is so scary about a djin is how they can shapeshift into anything really but there is always a flaw in their disguise so subtle and once you notice it you are done for, the only thing you have then is faith and the holy quran. My grand father allah rest his soul once told me a story about finding a sheep and he decided to carry it home and as he was walking with it, it started getting heavier till he heard it speak from the back of his ear asking if it's getting too heavy.... also once my dad was by the river side and saw a humanoid creature with no genitalia who quickly jumped in the river and never resurfaced. We also have a story about a djin that turns into a dog in this big vineyard who'd hunt you down with mighty speed and force foe years no one could walk through it at night.

@@Facetiously.Esoteric Religion teaches that Jinn are selfish and unpredictable. They can be of enormous use, but they believe in nothing but themselves so should be kept on a very short leash. The lamp is an analogy for a gilded cage; Genie equals Genius.
Exorcism was designed to cleanse people spiritually. You can look at it as an early form of mental health care if you must. The whole point was that a lesser-jinn (a shit stirring arse hole) had poisoned somebody's mind and created a demon within them. The spiritual cleansing addresses that through mental trauma and even a little pain if necessary; circumstances that promote the rewiring of the patients mental faculties.

    1. Angels (Malik) From Light
    - Magic (or miracles): Powerful
    - Free will: None (They are incapable of disobeying God)
    - Intelligence: Medium
    2. Jinn: From Fire
-Magic: Not as versatile as Angels

-Intelligence: Low (compared to the other 2 races)
    3. Humans: From Dust
    -Magic: None
    -Free will: Present
    -Intelligence: High
Also fun fact in Islam Satan is a jinn who refused to bow down to humans because of his pride.

as a sunni follower, we were taught that jins aren’t actually folklore/legend/myth. instead, they’re still relevant to this day and is referred as another dimensional being. they are different from syaitan/devil, but just like some humans some jins also decide to follow them and is lost from Islam. and just like humans, there’re variations of religions among them too. in Islam, humans were believed to deal with/recruiting them for personal priorities, usually not for good purposes as it is the same as recruiting syaitannirrajim.

Woah. That is cool info about the jinn. I find it amusing that the villain in the origional Aladdin story is the uncle of Aladdin. That really reminds of Scar. The Lion King was a movie inspired by Bambi and Hamlet. Scar is both the villain of the story and the uncle of the protagonist, Simba. So Scar is clearly based of of the Hamlet character Claudius. Yet I do find that Scar is also lion Jafar. There are strong parrelels. The Lion King is the Disney movie to be released right after Aladdin. Jafar and Scar are both villains. They both are cunning and ambitious. They both have the goal of becoming the monarch and usurping the current one. Both tried to murder the protagonist, because the protagonist had a good chance at becoming the new monarch instead. The two characters even look similar. Both are scrawny. Both have a red and black color scheme. Disney movies with shapeshifting tend to have different forms of the same character have the same color scheme. Maybe it makes the characters more recognizable. Sword and the Stone and Emperor's New Groove are two main examples. This also happens in the animated scene in the Xanadu movie. Aladdin has this trend. Genie can turn into a variety of wacky forms for the sake of his comedy. Yet he usually remains blue. Jafar turns to a cobra and a genie during the climax. He still keeps the red and black color scheme. If Jafar ever turned into a lion, he would look just like scar. There is already a lot of similarity between the two. I thought the uncle part in the video was amusing because that is another connection.

Thank you for this amazing video about the jinn lovely to see it on your channel
But for a person like me who know 80% about jinn I’d like to add a few things :-
Jinn can be summoned and do your evil work for a price that you need to offer it to them to harm the other ppl I have seen several moments in real life for story’s about there kind
So they can work with them for evil
But at the same time you can use jinn for good like healing the sick ppl i also know multiple people who are doing that
Also for the story of king Solomon who used the jinns for good building his palace in Jerusalem and the wall around his kingdom
Back that time king Solomon forbid using any source of magic he order to collect all of the dark magic book from the whole land and he put it under his golden throne and to prevent any jinn to steal because each jinn was tied with a book so he casted a spell on these books to prevent any jinn from taking it and any jinn try’s that it was burned to death many years later after king Solomon was gone all the jinn left without a ruler so the convinced the human to steal a book of the dark magic and they’ll pledge there loyalty to the owner of the dark magic book until no jinn left in Jerusalem from the one who was under king Solomon command

    • @husambader969
      @husambader969 2 ปีที่แล้ว

@@matiasdelgado7011 no jinn are “jinn” not evil fairies or falling angels….there’s no such thing as they’re creatures made by god for worshiping god and of course there’s good jinn’s and evil jinn created before the humans and lived in the earth but they committed so many sins so god ordered the angels to kill them so they were banished to the sea’s and the mountains and a lot of them living under the ground they have there own look but you can’t see them you may wonder why well because when god created them he asked there first king for any wishes and the king asked for the jinn kind to have invisibility so no one can see them in there original form BUT you can see them if they disguise to an or something else then you can see it
Actually for a normal human being you can CONTROL them if you follow a specific ritual you can summoned them and control them if it works but it’s very VERY dangerous and I honestly never NEVER recommend you to do it

Once a human dies his or her Soul enter purgatory. Jinns have different kinds, some important spices of them are shape shifters.
