Stressful may not be the word in retrospect. Painful is adulting but it gets easier for sure.
One tree Hill isnt just a show. It gave us all someplace safe. Someplace we can go back to everytime something goes wrong, or everytime something good happens . Someplace called Home. Someplace that we call "Ours". And that's how it will be. I cant thank them all enough for giving me the single most thing that was important for my survival. My home.

Show went so downhill when she left the show. Obviously Lucas also left but Lucas at that point already lost a lot of his interesting parts because at that point he was a writer and a basketball coach it wasn't a great storyline for him imo. But losing Peyton who had the best acting on that show, especially in terms of drama and totally lose such an important character they didn't really have much left to tell at that point.

I found an old email from 2009. I would've been 17. I'm 29 now and in that email this song was in it. Listening to this decades later. Just is so peaceful and precious. My young soul knew what good music was haha

I wish i kept my emails from boarding school and the back n forth love letters i would send to my crush while listening to Jack's mannequin and just feeling those powerful fluttering butterflies of euphoria that explode inside you when you experience your first love that loves you back.

I kept my old laptop hardrive from 2007-2009 as a sort of time capsule and just went into it this year and one of the best things I found was all my old MSN chat lots and old iTunes music library. Will there ever be a time to feel like that again

I did too, but after a while I ran out of shit to watch on Netflix so I decided to watch seasons 7-9. It wasn't the same, and I never liked Julian (I always saw him as a wannabe Lucas) but they were at least watchable. I do think you should rewatch he series in it entirety. Lucas comes back in season 9.

Hard to believe that 10 years gone by like this! I was turning 18, high school, teen years was practically in the end and Peyton Sawyer was (and still is) one of my favourite characters. This was the last year in the series before the 5 years leap, and soon the series would say goodbye to P. Sawyer. Also the year that Marissa died on The OC.
So emblematic year! Now with 28 years old, it's funny to remember all this, and what was to be a teenager a decade ago near to my 20's, not to mention know how to make mixtapes!
Miss those times!

This couldn't be more true! This song just symbolises every feeling of anger, and pain, and betrayal people can feel after a break up. It's the perfect "I miss you and I hate you because of that."
There just isn't as much music of this quality left anymore... and that is a real shame.

I must say when i was younger i was more for Brooke's character because she was fun and bubbly ( and i always wanted Brooke and Lucas to end up together) but as i have grown up and my love for music has grown alot into Peyton's style, now when i watch OTH i find i am so much more for team Sawyer... she connects alot to my life and i have noticed that i am much like her, listening to music depending on my mood, drawing to get my emotions out and locking myself in my room when i feel alone. Peyton is a beautiful character and just recently watched OTH seasons for about the 100th time and i am all for Team Leyton, and i feel i will always connect to Peytons character alot more now. Also THANK YOU ONE TREE HILL FOR INTRODUCING ME TO AMAZING MUSIC THAT I WILL FOREVER LOVE by far the best soundtrack of any tv series
Jeri Lane Hilarie is bomb and she's cute but Peyton not so much. She was a terrible friend, she didn't care about Brooke at all. And her and Lucas didn't belong together, she only wanted him unavailable and when he was with other people, and I didn't believe that he wanted her he was all for her and Jake. They didn't belong together her and Jake did. Lucas was an asshole but he belonged with Brooke. That's my opinion anyway.

I just heard that Andrew is leaving JM, so I thought I'd come here to pay hommage. I fell in love with this song, and this band, a few years ago. I remember having The Mixed Tape on repeat every single day for it was my absolute favourite song. It's incredible how attached I was, it meant so much to me. Then there was Dark Blue and The Resolution which I also adored.
