I'm importing the full rom set. I now get to click import as archive over 4000 times. Should be a fun night.
You don't need several revisions of Pac-Man or Donkey Kong though. I forget what program I used but it took the best zip file of each game and tossed the duplicates. I was left with a full set which became 2036 games! Works great!!
Thank you for the refresher tutorials! I find that Arcade Games are some of the hardest ones to emulate on the Mini consoles due to knowing which version of the game works with which core.
Can u do a tutorial on how to update a already internal memory hacked mini console from the day 1 hack to install all roms on to a USB via OTG?

I remember adding X Men and the mini SNES couldn't play the sound correctly, it was static at times, ended up removing the game.
We truly need one for the turbo graphics 16 mini.
Are neo geo games used with the same mame core?
I have a nes that I hacked early in the nes hack scene. I am hesitant to modify for worry about newer updates in hackchi . Is this a valid concern. I don’t even have original files anymore

I got them working with mame 0.78 . You'll have to get mame 0.78 roms to work with it tho .
So I decided to reinstall hakchi on my SNES Classic, also reinstalling Retroarch/KMFD cores/mods in the process. I also flushed out the Arcade roms on my list so I'd know all ones installed from here would be from the 0.78 set.
Just one problem: MAME 2003 Xtreme, despite being downloaded and installed on my mini, isn't showing as a core option when selecting one for a game. Even when I go to the Show All Console list, it's not displaying. Why might this be?
How do you modify a save file?

@@atranfanatic also I hope there’s a easy way of doing it without having to go through buying that retropi 4 piece and buying whole new set of buttons to drill holes to add ‘em to it 😅 hopefully can be done just through with a micro usb cable to pc with retroarch program
@@NPAFORLIFE Yeah sorry you can't do anything unless you mod it with a pi, PC, or even a console. You have to get a controller board to convert the monitor to HDMI to help plug into whatever setup you choose as I mentioned earlier. The Arcade1up machines are not designed for a simple plug in a cable to the PCM. You have to change things in order to put other games on your machine.

I would pick the 2014 version... mame 2003 is like almost 20 years old.
I don't know about the speed of the emulation, maybe it runs like crap.
