All I added to my Ascent 18 was Injora - 1" Grey, Steel Beadlock Wheels & used acetone to remove the stock tires off of the plastic rims & mounted the stock tires on the new beadlocks & added RCAWD - CR18P 43MM Aluminum Preload Adjustable Shocks to lower the chassis ruffly 10mm & made it far more stable.
This is about what i was thinking too. I want to drop it, and that servo definitely needs more upward space. Hey, do you know the gear ratio of this transmission/gearbox?
i ordered the red one today after my buddy brought his blue one. Stock they are monsters. All Im gonna do is portal covers and new wheels with little guy racing parts black labels and im guessing it will be close to unstoppable.

nice! just got one yesterday,. don't see the hex driver size and don't have anything this small at home. id like to order some tools for it

I also removed the chassis plate above the servo so it does not contact the steering servo when the shocks are fully collasped.

Doesn’t adding weight burn out the motor a lot quicker? more weight more resistance .
Yes, but the performance gains are well worth it, and the motor will probably be on the upgrade wish list anyway
