You should get some proline Baja pro x in 2.2 if you can fit them they are amazing and I think they would be some good competition for the trax

Yeah my trx4 didn’t make it far in deep snow either. Those trax definitely get it done in the snow.

I have the Traxx on my 2021 Bronco, stock electronics and suspension. It does really well. Tires just don’t work in the snow. I have some snow chains on order , curious to see how they do

How long do the tracks take to put on and take off? I think I’m going to get some eventually but if it takes an hour to swap and causes a headache… 🤷🏼‍♂️

That poor defender has been smoked the last few runs, do yall have another motor laying around for it? I’ve probably got a couple brushed motors laying around here if ya want or need. Also wouldn’t mind stopping by and hanging out for a few, it’s been a while. It’d be cool to see how those traxx compare to my High Trail on Fling Kings in the snow we’re getting tonight!

Did the Fusion pro fit or did you have to modify the Phoenix?

I have run a 1080 with a crawl master for ages now and have been looking to go brushless for a long while now. The Fusion SE has been in my eye for a bit and I think ill pull the trigger now. Im over killing brushed motors with ever water hole. I need a motor ever other run or so because dirt/sand gets in the brushes and commutator and destroy them.

I did a school project on this exact idea lol. Traxx are better for anything weather related. Snow, mud, loose gravel, etc. Tires are much better for technical rocks, or for asphalt/asphalt slopes.

the Traxx are for Low speed only and diffs locked. They a ton of drag on the drivetrain and even more when cold. A fusion pro will add some decent speed and has the torque to turn the Traxx on the factory pinion.

I wanna see the tracks with a brushless setup… those should be really hard to over-stress…. Dudes get their trx4 to go 30mph and then drive it in the grass on that gearing so… I’m sure it could handle the tracks at 5-7mph in the snow no problem!

Looks like fun ! Need to adjust those shocks on the Defender

Good video, first time I ran Traxx on my K10 stock motor it was a complete smoke show lol. HW pro works great though.

I’ve been loving snow crawls! I’ve been doing more… deep snow trail crawling… 2nd gear plowing through with my 8lb trx4 on Baja pro X tires. They clear out amazingly with the fusion pro motor on 2nd gear. Y’all should try zipties or tire chains for more traction.

Awsome video! Yes, Traxxas did make this a great platform. At some point, I would still like Traxxas to come out with a straight axle. However, I do like mine, first Bronco, Sport Kit, and the 2 6x6s I have.
