the anime didnt do well in japan so when the dub studio got it, the voice actors were told to do whatever to sell the show, the only stipulation was to stick the overall storyline but otherwise they could do whatever they wanted. the voice actors would race each other to get to the recording studio first to see who would be able to control the storyline for the episode

I'm loving how people are still talking about this dub, even after so many years went by, when it came out . The Japanese was boring and didn't sell, so they said keep the story plot the same then do whatever with the dub, as long as it sells and it sell all right. Lots of people laugh and still are laughing about it all today.
That is one of the 2 legitimate English dubs for the series. The first one was true to the original story completely. However, company got the license to do the series in a bundle of series. When they saw it was already done, they wanted to do something different so people would buy their version as well. Their version became more popular.
Even with context, this show is still all over the place
The rabbit 🐇 episode is the best thing I've ever seen form 2000 .
Hello?! Where are you?? Why this is only vid on this channel?? Hello??
We will be daily uploading new videos from 3rd Jan :)
The rabbit scenes are the best ones lol
Lol, N00bs. I watch this full dub every year.
I neeeed the rabbit scene
I love it with burning passion
I own it. And yes it is a legit dub. They were given pretty much free reign to do whatever they wanted so long as the story was kept the same. Teens fighting ghosts and that was about it for story.
Actually I think it gets even worse when it's in context 🙃
10/10 reactions, more pls
By far (the demon that is in kiba) ( the cat) is my favorite character by far 😂
Oh it's legit, and it's a masterpiece. You said it, the fuckin balls on them to say this shit. Out of 10...11, and not only because it's hilarious, but because it TURNS ANIME UP TO 11!
The dub is hilarious 😂🤣🤣🤣
Yes this was what I watched as a kid hahahahah
Legitimate dub in that a legitimate anime dubbing company did the official recording of the English Language version, giving us this strange gem
But not-so-legitimate in that virtually none of the English dialog has anything at all to do with the original Japanese dialog. Only the names and basic plot elements remained the same. Japan was basically hands off, like "this bombed so hard over here, just do what you want with it" LOL
Imagine a remake of this
It doesn't need
the anime didnt do well in japan so when the dub studio got it, the voice actors were told to do whatever to sell the show, the only stipulation was to stick the overall storyline but otherwise they could do whatever they wanted. the voice actors would race each other to get to the recording studio first to see who would be able to control the storyline for the episode
Bruh 4 unskippable ads is insane
