This is such a cool and good idea!! Also off topic but a new game idea, Imagine if the next 3D Mario is Mario Galaxy 3. It's an open world space adventure. That would be so insanely awesome. I know they could just do something new where it's just a new open world taking place in one big land which would be just as awesome, but I can't help but imagine Super Mario Galaxy coming back some day!

I had this exact idea a year ago, and I had one other cool idea: gooigi 2.0. The idea is that you could switch gooigi to the four elements, for example fire to burn through an old wooden door. Also that Mario and Luigi opened up a pizzeria, which is why they’re in the mall in the first place
I honestly think of more like traveling the world like: Antarctica, North pole, volcano, carnival, school, space stations, or maybe travel through multiverse. But the mall , eh that works

I would love if you could save smaller characters like toads, goombas, et cetera, in the smaller rooms, that give you xp and an upgrade when brought to E-Gad. Then when you save the main characters you will receive a new attachment or ability for your poltergeist. I think this would add more depth, enhance gameplay and add a variety of combinations that would spice the game up. I love the idea and I would love to see more videos like this! ❤

The mall is great. It could have an arcade with real Nintendo arcade games. And a go kart track where you race the ghosts. Kinda like a mini Mario kart game.

My idea for Luigi’s mansion 4 was that he could enter a ring of different ghostly worlds with their own theme and with some upgrades to the poltergust and he has to take back the mushroom Kingdom.
maybe some ghosts you can befriend. they start out crying, and you talk to them. you have to find an item or person to win them over, but you can trigger a battle by dialogue or something.
I stand by this, but after Luigis Mansion 2’s multiple themed mansions and Luigi’s Mansion 3’s multiple themed floors, going back to just one theme for a whole game would feel like a downgrade and most likely smaller scale

My ideer is that the only the direktor of the mall and high ranking personel, something like the bosses of the shops are on the side of king boo and the normal employes and costomers are nutral.
Maybe the empleoyes only do that the boss say and if you beet the boss of a shop it could become nuteal teretory there you are only attacked if you attak the gost first and maybe you can interackt with the gosts there or saved toads do thing in nutreal areas while they wait that you rescue the rest.

Like Lily; a baby boss ghost who resides in a mall play area that may look sweet as you find her but becomes angry and aggressive when you don't play by her rules, Big Bert; a fat boss ghost who resides in the mall's food court as he wants all the foods to himself and will destroy you with food like weapons if you get rid of his food, Vector; An 8 bit boss ghost who resides in the mall's arcade that likes to be claimed the champion of arcades as he uses his powers to bring game characters to life, use toys as deadly weapons, and can turn the setting into many scenes of many genre of games as he will appear in many arcade or fun areas in the mall with each phase more crazier than the last, Veronica; a hairdresser/styler boss ghost who resides in the lady's hairdresser area as she tries to to attack you with hairdresser accessories, Vexy Ghoulrock; A heavy metal boss ghost who resides in the music stage of the mall as she and her band try to attack you with there loud death music from their instruments as the chairs fly at you while they play but after you defeat her band members she gets angry an tries to attack you herself, and Lyle Stonehenge; A beefcake ghost boss who resides in the gym area of the mall as he trys to attack you with workout equipment after you accidentally make him ruin his lifting weight record.

This is actually a pretty cool idea! I like how alot of the different rooms of the Mall have a Spooky Sci-Fi feel to them!
I love this idea. A room I made a concept for was the plant room cause a green house would be awesome, they could possess plants like Venus flytraps, Pitcher Plants, Foxgloves, Sundews, Lilies and more, also they could possess rodents and bugs, and maybe not all possess like a watering ghost, a gardener, a planter, a locksmith, and so much more
If this game were to be greenlit, i have a few design suggestions.
1. The story is e. Gadd attempting to give some of his old ghosts a new life of helping others. To do this he invests in an old mall which the ghosts refurbish to their liking.
2. Give the player the option to select what floor of the mall they want to explore first. Something like, having luigi use the fire escape to leave the mall, but he can go back inside through one of the doors. This allowing the player to change who they want to go for first.
3. Have the special ghosts you save appear in the hub area, and they will give challenges and rewards to the player for completing objectives. And if you complete all their objectives you can revisit their locations with only friendly ghosts.
imagine if there was a haunted amusement park or water park for Luigi’s Mansion. It kinda would be like the story of Luigi’s Mansion 3 that Luigi and friends would go on a vacation and it gets haunted but just imagine a haunted theme park, amusement park, or a water park.
Idea: Luigi's Mansion: Digital Landscare!
Lore: Luigi and Friends go to E. Gadd's house for a well-deserved vacation of all the crazy adventures, especially Luigi after all of King Boo's Shenanigans. Eventually, E. Gadd gives a tour to his laboratory for luigi's friends, And that was the perfect opportunity for King Boo to strike!
The King calls 1 of his lackeys to possess 1 of E. Gadd's Computers, and when everyone arrives to the room, The Computer screen sucks them all into a Digital Mansion, infested with Sites and ghosts. Luigi's friends all turn to ghost glitches, And it's once more Up to the Green Plumber to save everyone from this ghost apocalypse.
World: A Digitalized Mansion, where every floor is based around some sort of site.
Portrait Ghosts: An Dramatic Actress for Streaming Services.
An Smart Teacher for Search Tools.
An Brave Soldier for Minefield. ETC.

1. an island like spooky island from the scooby-doo movie
2. a church (highly unlikely)
3. cruise ship

6. an underground cave
7. a train/plane

I think the megamall is an excellent setting for Luigi’s Mansion. I would divide the “levels” into their own themed sections of the mall like arcade/play area, food court, jewelry, hot topic clothing, etc. For rescuing characters, I can envision Luigi saving Bowser Jr. in the play area so he can win Bowser over as an ally. I would limit the characters you need to rescue to only being Mario and friends plus Bowser and Bowser Jr. There will still be boss ghosts to beat and treasure to collect throughout your adventure.
I actually had an idea for making Hotel Last Resort 100 floors tall and a mega mall was the 70th floor's theme

Well my idea for the title is luigi’s mansion 4 the enormous amusement haunt where Luigi and his friends are invited yet again to a hotel except instead of last resort this hotel is located in an amusement park called scream park. (any name ideas please comment) a fun and wild and enormous amusement park with 7 sections divided equally with the middle being the main attraction where luigi has to go through all 7 sections of the park learning new ways he was use his new and improved poltergust SUCC

And uses the poltergust SUCC to beat the bosses and gain keys to not only put in one the seven key holes containing the final area but unlock other parts of the park but luigi isn’t gonna be alone because egad and gooigi are joining as well cause why not and (this may sound stupid) you can upgrade your poltergust SUCC to astronomical heights. You start out with normal damage and 1 bar (yep we are bringing back the charges form LM2) but you can upgrade to do more damage and have more bars all it takes are bolts and coins LOTS AND LOTS OF COINS.
New ability idea: luigi can turn into a ghost and back again. Maybe this can be used to talk to ghosts and learn secrets, sneak around and find hidden areas.

I think they need new things in Luigi mansion 4...many things that you mentioned are in Luigi mansion 3 so my idea would be that Luigi gets stranded on a big island...an on this island there are multiple different things like a haunted mansion/town, a volcano theme thing, private things, a Jungle, or also a cave (maybe underwater)

A few years ago, I had a dream about a Luigi's Mansion 4 that I think would be pretty interesting. Similar to Dark Moon, you could explore multiple areas, but this time you could travel from place to place in foot, exploring more locations and finding more secrets on the way. The place I dreamt up was a haunted kingdom with a murky swampland to the right of it. I remember Luigi walking up to a giant tree, discovering a unique species similar to the Piantas but wooden who are undergoing a ghost infestation and need Luigi to help
That's pretty much all I remember from it
Ok, this is probably going to sound dumb, but here me out. What if, at an indoor pool and spa area, you have to fight a lifeguard ghost? And the battle would have her shield herself by possessing pool toys, molding them into monsters (like a shark pooltoy that becomes a floating shark ghost). And the way to defeat the boss is to use your vacuum to pull open the nozzle of the toy. Then, you have to spray water into the nozzle to make her too heavy to float. Finally, you have to attach the nozzle to the vacuum, then blow up the toy untill it explodes. Which would then leave her vulnerable to the poltergust.
Also haunted dolls have always been a thing in horror games and movies so it wouldn't be that far of a stretch for this mall to have a toy store
I thought a haunted college campus with an outdoor overworks of sorts would be really fun.
I think it would be cool if in Luigi’s Mansion 4 it acted sort of like the boards from Mario Party 6 and it switch from night to day and depending on what time it was that changed the gameplay. Maybe Luigi becomes a ghost or something and you have to avoid the sun, that could make some interesting puzzles.

Luigi’s mansion that takes place in Peach’s Castle. Similar in layout to Mario 64. Also, a good reason for Mario characters to make an appearance.
If I were to change some things, I'd make the story about the subjects of Dasy being kidnapped by King Boo and a classic Scrooge who is promised infinite wealongside helps the King. This would leadfour-playerving to save them alongside Daisy which can open up some four-player fun in the main story.

I always though a ghost town would make the more sense for LM4. Because it could tie together the 3 previous games. With a ghost town you can have the multiple locations of LM2, but still with a proper main mansion like LM1. And all locations could be accessed through the down seamlessly.
I feel a mall would be a bit too similar to LM3. That tower hotel already looked really focused on entertainment and shopping.
4th game idea: Luigi is awoken by Pulterpup barking at and chasing out King Boo because he realized he should capture Luigi before Mario

Kinda wish they'd cone up with a new franchise for Luigi. Would love a RPG-style franchise centered around Luigi. Opposite Mario. Or maybe a Warriors Style game.
For a co-op it should be like Gooigi,you need to unlock him before you can play co-op but the second player can use anyone Luigi has previously saved and they all have unique abilities like yoshi can throw eggs and wario could throw stink bombs or something
here's my idea for a Luigi's Mansion 4
first we're back at multiple "mansions" like in 2, but each building has a similar role to a Mansion (large building with many rooms people can live in (eather permant or temporarily))
so something like a Mansion, a Cruise Ship, a Castle, a Hotel, maybe a normal house for the tutorial
each "mansions" is freely explorable like LM1 and LM3 floors
and inside each "mansion" 1 of Luigi's friends is trapped that you free by defeating the final boss of her "mansion"
What about a game where Luigi is actively pursuing King Boo to his kingdom and wants to put an end to the menace forever. And the whole game is centered around a dimensional rift where Luigi experiences all his enemies from the past (including a bowser mech fight). Maybe king boo turns Mario and friends into ghosts and Luigi has to pacify them based on the characters abilities and return them to the world of the living.
I'm so ready for a new Luigi's mansion been ready since I 100% 2 and 3 and a man can only replay the 1st one so many times

I feel like a new Luigi’s Mansion game being the 4th would have to be bigger and better then the hotel. It would have to have to be something raw original and brand new and even though all of your ideas seem cool and unique I don’t think those would live up to the hype of a bigger and better Luigi’s Mansion 4 game I mean the first one on the GameCube was classic. Dark Moon was good but I feel like they could have done a better job at perfecting it to be a awesome sequel but the third installment was just a masterpiece of creativity originality and wonder and if we did have a Luigi’s Mansion 4 it would have to be something bigger better and taller then the hotel in 3.
I hope Luigi's Mansion 4 game comes out in the switch next year in 2025 or maybe next 2 more years of 2026.

My idea is to make the mansion a haunted cruise ship and you explore 5 haunted mansions in an archipelago
Luigis Mansion 4 on a cruise ship idea: , luigi and his friends win a grand prize vacation on a huge luxury cruise ship. But they never entered any contest. One night while Luigi is sleeping on the open seas the ship is suddenly engulfed by an errie green fog. A huge ghost pirate ship appears and begins attacking the ship, the crew board the cruiser and its utter chaos. The pirate captain is the 2nd main villain and he turns everyone he can find into paintings. Including Mario. Luigi this time has the poltergust G00 at the start but a battle with the captain breaks it, and the leader takes off with his treasure. The cruise ship has completely been transformed into a Cursed Cruiser, the pirate crew ghosts roaming the ship. The interior would be an impossibly large scale, while there would still be areas you would find on a typical cruise ship. The gimic this time around. Spread throughout the huge ship are strange special doors that need special keys to open them, each door is a portal to a whole big themed world area. Luigi must progress through the ship finding the keys to unlock the doors, by doing so the door to the bridge can be opened at the end. Luigi would go to these themed dimensions and capture their bosses while also finding paintings of his friends along the way, except for mario. I propose that this iteration of the series would be the biggest yet and therefore luigi would have to find a bunch of characters in the mario series this time. 4 toads, peach, daisy, Yoshi, maybe DK?, toadsworth, Egadd and Mario. Once the bridge of the ship is unlocked, an event happens, now luigi has to find missing parts so that he can get the ship running again. Once its running theres a mini boss fight with a ghost gooper blooper type monster and the ship crashes onto a creepy mysterious island. The island contains the final area of the game. A lone castle/ or pirate fortress sits on a hill in a spooky forest or spooky swamp (call back to LM1) where King Boo waits for his archenemy Luigi. King boos crown has a new jewel given to him by the pirate captain, which glows green to match luigis green. ( i chose pirates because i like the way the pirate area was made in LM3.
I also really like the mega mall idea and haunted train.
