Luigi's Mansion Characters: Good to Evil 👻
Luigi has been put through the ringer during his adventures in the Mario franchise. From the King Koopa, to the Beanish Lord Fawful, to even his own goofy alter ego (Waluigi), the second brother seems to always have trouble on the horizon. However, despite his valiant efforts, he can never seem to escape the shadow of the more heroic and successful Mario. That is, until he receives a strange notice detailing a mansion he won through a contest he didn’t enter…
Since then, Luigi has faced his fair share of ghosts in attempts to rescue his family and friends. But are all of these characters truly evil, or do they forsake their goulish namesake?

Morty truly belongs on the Good Side of the list. Out of all the Boss Ghosts in Luigi's Mansion 3, he's the only one who never wanted to cause trouble or scare anyone.
Oh no doubt about that! I would give him even a silver or bronze medal of good. He serves no threat to Luigi or anybody else, he just wants to make some movies. I agree he should be put in the good category

You forgot to mention that King Boo has managed to successfully capture both Mario and Peach, something which Bowser has never been able to do, at least to my knowledge.
He did capture mario in mario is missing, he also captured him in mario 64 ds, and finally captured him again in super princess peach but it's quite forgettable at times

@@TheMarionick that I can actually agree, bowser never caught both of them. If mario is caught, peach will do something about it but if peach gets caught, the toads will do something about it. Heck, even e.gadd was captured by king boo which just tells us a lot on his planning. Being honest here, during the chase scene if the game, pretty sure it was only luck that saved him from king boo.

I think Mario should have been on this list. He was a Major part in all 3 games, even helping Luigi find Peach and save her. Sure, he could probably have beaten all the ghosts, but it sure he was caught in his sleep or something. That at least deserves a place in the Top 10

Boolosus was controlling the place and that how the ghosts became evil and am pretty sure he was planning to help their King on controlling the world by attacking the world.
And for Bowser Jr what just happen in my opinion is the Bowser Jr with Bowser’s minions forced E. Gadd to invent the magic brush and when he did that they left him alone taking the brush with them and E. Gadd used that moment to invent F.L.U.D.D in order to help Mario to defeat Bowser and Bowser Jr for what they done, I mean if E. Gadd wouldn’t invent the machine Mario wouldn’t defeat Bowser and Bowser Jr. E. Gadd didn’t want to help Bowser Jr in the first place but he force him. That’s my opinion for what just happened

I would even consider King Boo THE most evil character in video game history. Think about it. He doesn't care about anything, or anybody. He will try to steal your belongings, intimidates his helpers, and straight up just try to kill you. He doesn't care about his family of boos, any of the ghosts, or whatever is given to him or what he creates. All he cares about is getting rid of the annoying ghost sucking green plumber mustache faced Luigi. He will straight up just try to completely kill Luigi any chance he gets.

I feel like Morty could have the silver medal of good for one reason:
Morty gave Luigi the floor 9 elevator button meaning that Luigi could save all his friends, so Morty technically saved all Luigi's friends (excluding E. Gadd). So maybe Madame Clairvoya and Morty could switch places. Besides that, I agree with most of the list.
Clem could have the silver medal of bad because he tried drowning Luigi twice and Luigi only survived because of a miracle only because of a duck floatie that saved his life not once but twice

Morty is not a bad ghost, he was friendly to Luigi and wanted to help him save his friends. What a nice guy.
Morty is probably the best, he's a nice guy who just wants to make movies. Melody is more Grey Area being that she's vain & in love with music, while her responses seem quite reasonable. Chauncey was spoiled & acted a lot worse & we can't forget that he dropped the chandelier on Luigi in the Foyer prior to being sucked up. Chauncey was worse than Bogmire with the shadow ghost seeming more like a force of nature than something sadistic.
You forgot to mention dr. Egad’s toad assistants in dark moon when explaining dr. Egad’s ranking in the evil section
Reasons morty is the best ghost (that is not polterpup)
1. Never actually attacks luigi
2. The 'monster' he does send is just a ghost in a costume
3. willingly hands over button after you finish the scene
4. he thanks you
Ngl King boo is really trying to catch bodies, Mate almost put an entire hotel in a painting just to Kill Luigi, He really had murder on his mind.
The reason Ug "decimates" the dinosaur fossils is because he got eaten by a t-rex while he was alive, and now has an eternal hatred for them.

Melody should probably be put on the gray area because she has a musical heart and it’s triggering for her to hear wrong notes when playing music and when her sheets get sucked up and plus the fact is true that first impressions are never right so she should have gotten a second chance with Luigi
To add onto to Chancey in the grey area, while dangerous, in his childmind, he thinks his method of playtime is harmless. Kids (including myself) used to love to rough house all the time, thinking more about the fun than the dangers, believing it to be nothing malicious at heart. When the fun is put to halt from a grown-up, it causes the child to have resent for them for their age and size, when in reality their doing it for their own good. This does not excuse Chancey's behavior but is also something to note when placing him in the grey area. He's spoiled and violent but definitely not pure evil or as villainous as one would like to think.
Great video! LM Dark Moon is so underrated in my opinion.
But I didn’t really like it. I’m glad that Luigi’s Mansion 3 fixed all its flaws.

Mat Pat stated that E. Gad is a resemblance of a war profiteer. meaning that he makes inventions that causes problems such as that paint brush from Super Mario: Sunshine where Bowser JR said and i quote a strange man in a white coat gave it to him meaning the E. Gad gave it to Junior. he also builds inventions to solve said problems such as in Sunshine builds the FLUDD for Mario. and his reason of giving inventions to both the heroes and the villains is for profit to make loads of money to fund his scientific pursuits.
The thing with Professor E Gadd is that... He's just another eccentric scientist character.
And I don't know if you've noticed but most scientist characters in fictional media usually tend to be very eccentric and don't care much for people. It makes sense as they find their comfort in the world of knowledge and science rather than other people.
And it's not that they are inherently evil it's just that they are more introverted
Missed out on a lot of Luigi's Mansion 3 boss ghosts here.

Another thing for egad: the pixelater (the device he uses to transport luigi in Dark Moon) Is completely untested on people, it could have killed luigi but egad used it anyway without luigi's consent. And it is unsafe enough for us to worry, in one of the variations of the transport in animation, luigi teleports in without his hat, notices it's gone then his hat materializes a few moments later. That lag could have happened to something more imported, live a liver or luigi's brain. Not cool egad, not cool.

•He only cares for his reputation about locking up as many prisoners as possible
•He threatens Henry in convict allies route that he is going to regret everything
•He pushes a sideway truck with Henry inside near a cliff with his foot and before that he said "Hmm... Well that's just too bad" like he doesn't care if Henry dies or not
•In completing the mission in PP/TR route if you select the wall Dimitri threatens Henry and Ellie that they will never see the light of day again and freezes them to death
•In TR route Dimitri punches Ellie on the head making her unconscious and doesn't give an f and tries to be Henry up
•He only wants to imprison or kill Henry and Ellie
•I do have a theory, I'm guessing he doesn't treat his employees too well, in the PD route we seen guards get run over with a truck and two more push off the road and presume that those guards are dead and can't be recovered and no-one will be there to save them, but that's just my theory
•He may look like a guy trying to do his job but if other convict/convicts escapes he won't hesitate to imprison or kill them
@@JC_720 I don’t see how that makes him evil, he takes care of the wall and his job is to make sure that the criminals stay there. Of course he wants to punish Henry for causing the giant escape, yeah duh he doesn’t care if Henry dies, he’s a criminal, and why do you think him locking Ellie and Henry up is evil, they’re the ones who escaped prison

Ok first, E. Gadd shouldn’t be in the category of bad to evil, and here is why. The portrait ghost all of them exception of Madame Clairvoya are evil even before King Boo free them from their portrait when E. Gadd capture them, because they were trying to capture Luigi so they attack him, and am pretty sure they did the same to E. Gadd but he was no just doing it only for his research but also to make sure they don’t abandon the forest or the mansion to attack innocent people, second he actually made a mistake on selling King Boo’s painting and that how he got free, I mean everyone makes mistakes without even notice it, third in Luigi’s Mansion Dark Moon, he asks Luigi to help him to find the pieces of Dark Moon to make the ghosts of Evershade Valley to be good again of course without Luigi’s permission but Luigi has to notice that he saving the future of Evershade Valley and also the world, fourth he even help Luigi to find his friends and family on Luigi’s mansion 3 by analyzing how to do it? and what did just happen? And passing through the adventure with Luigi, Gooigi and Polterpup, and at the end of the game the ghosts of The Last Resort a exception of the portrait ghosts discounting Morty (he was already good) ,became nice and they felt bad about for what just happen and E. Gadd ask their help to fix what King Boo just done and with the help of Luigi, Mario, Peach and the Toads all helping the ghosts to build a new home for them to live with E. Gadd. So Professor Elvin Gadd should be higher in Fairly Nice category. 👍🏻

I think the “creation” Van Gore referred to before becoming catchable was the Bowser painting that King Boo used as Mario’s prison.
His shocked and bothered reaction about acknowledging there’s still one painting somewhere in the mansion may indicate that King Boo (or one of his minions) may’ve taken it without him knowing, and King Boo may’ve done some sort of curse that linked him to the painting to bring it to life, and so the Bowser inside the painting could not be defeated by Mario while he’s trapped inside, and the only way to stop it was by defeating King Boo himself, hence why they’re put together in the same painting and why when King Boo gets caught, the Bowser simply falls off as if he ran out of power.
And Clairvoya stating Bowser got “soundly defeated by Mario” may’ve just being a rumor, something King Boo may’ve taken as advantage to scare both brothers with this Bowser in hell.
If only you knew what Luigi did to those poor Boos behind closed doors. That’s the real horror that keeps me awake at night. I have horrible flashbacks, the ectoplasm splattered everywhere, the reason the Boos can’t bear to face Luigi (or even Mario for that matter), the pained and over exerted screams.... I wake up screaming, often also crying. What did those Boos ever do to Luigi to deserve that? They’re already dead and now they suffer this? Horrific....

In my Opinion, Luigi is the Bravest Character in the Whole Mario Franchise, Sure Mario is Fearless but Luigi doesn't have to be Fearless to show how Brave he truly is, True Bravery isn't about being Fearless, True Bravery is doing the right thing no matter how scared you are 😊 Luigi always does what's right no matter how much he shakes, chatters and screams in fear. That's why Luigi will always be my Favourite Character in the Mario Franchise. 💖 Some People Only See him as a Coward but There is a lot more to Luigi that Some People don’t see or realise, Luigi will always go to great lengths to save the ones he cares about so much no matter how scared he is and that is what True Bravery is ❤️😊

About Asgore, he is not evil. He destroys the mercy button not because he doesn't want you to flee, but because he thinks he doesn't deserve mercy. He also fights in very easy and predictable patterns.

Mello would be in the bad area, but not that deep in there. He did really bad things like kidnapping and shooting people, but at least it was for the purpose of catching Kira. Light could also be arguably in the grey area. In my opinion (feel free to disagree) here's the list of core characters (ordered left to right good to evil):
Good: L, Ray Pimber, Near, Soichiro (Light's dad)
Grey: Kiyomi, Rem, Ryuk, Mikumi (DELETE!), Misa
Bad to Evil: Light, Mello
It might be a little weird putting Mello as the most evil rather than the main villain, but other than him and Light there aren't really any bad MAIN characters in the show.
Edit: I put Ray Pimber as more good that Near because Near didn't really inform his partners about his plans very much and therefore risked their lives a lot more than L, but they were aware of the risks and were warned about them. Near is still good, just not as much as Ray or L.

*One time I saw a video that completely changed my mind about Chara. I think it's called The true villain of Undertale. Nevertheless, this list is based on my knowledge from the actual game. Not the theories (or TH-cam for that matter). Chara suggests to "erase this pointless world" during the Genocide ending. Now it appears that you have a choice between erasing the world and not erasing it, but in reality, Chara erases it either way. Then if you try to play again, she says YOU destroyed that world when obviously it was her. It was especially obvious for me because I chose not to erase it. You may think that it doesn't matter because Frisk already Killed everyone, but Frisk didn't kill Alphys, or Monster Kid, or BurgerPants, or the annoying dog, or anyone in Snowdin other than Sans and Papyrus. It's possible that Flowey killed whoever Frisk didn't, but that's a theory and like I said, my list isn't based on theories.
