2:19 THANK YOU for actually knowing how a clipper works. Too many barbers, on youtube specifically, do not know that speed is not power! The Rebels with 7,200 rpm is more powerful at debulking than the ergo (10,000 rpm) and it simply comes down to the rotary motor being better at debulking than magnetic motors. A slower rpm, I feel like, to me and many other barbers, is better at fading simply because it gives a softer approach to blends, while a faster rpm feels more precise. Essentially, it rlly comes down to preferences! That's why motors and rpm should taken into consideration when buying a clipper! Every clipper excels at different things.
Would you pick this over the Babyliss Pro FXone? I already have the trimmer, but was considering the clippers... Mostly just using it for beard trimming.
I just bought one x ergo, but the clippers motor is getting too hot after 10/15 munites( not the blade, clipper itself). Is that normal for that clippers? Or maybe because of magnetic motor?
@@tolhildan5023 yea that was happening to me too. I ended up changing the blade to a fade one because I kind of like them better and during the cut the body didn’t get hot. But I can’t say its because of the blade but for some reason it just didn’t heat up.
Is it more powerful than Diavel? As I know, Diavel has 10W motor and doesn't struggle with bulk removal as regular ergo does. Could you confirm this? How would you rank the power of those: x-ergo, regular ergo, diavel?
Great review. I have been using my Kiepe Fuels for the last month and really like them. Picked up my Wahl seniors on Saturday to use them on a client and they just felt like a dinosaur compared to the Wahl. Definitely going to get the x ergo
I received this machine today, but oil has spilled inside the box and the machine is getting very hot. Is this normal? Did you cut the oil can yourself or is it open? I think someone used it and returned it. Can you please help?
Just got mine ordered, can't wait to see how they compare to what I already use. Everyone in my shop swears that they're the best clipper out though so ig we'll see
@@eyelezflores757 it’s dope, I can notice a difference from these ergo and it except when I’ve cut really tangled Afro hair the x ergo eats through it a little easier but not by much.
I got my custom andis master tattooed on my forearm. With tha being said, the x ergo with a faker blade is the coldest setup i have ever used. The blends are nice! And you don’t have to put the stretch bracket on to take out the line with the x ergo.
Anyone else’s x ergos get hot on like 10-15 minutes of using them? Like not just the blade but the whole body of the clipper as well, just used mine for the second day today and seems to be a problem
@@giuseppecirignola8595 nah man havent had any ways of solving it,, thinking of contacting gamma. Love these clippers but sometimes they get hot af and sometimes they dont, i think it might be from charging on the stand all day
@@chico_0384 My favorite clipper to cut with because they cut clean, but my clippers i feel like the battery doesnt last 2 hhours and they charge slow af. Takes 105 mins to charge 120 mins worth. The issue with the heat is still a thing unfortunately i tihnk its when i leave it charging on the stand and continue to use it while setting it on the charger consistently but when I dont it doesnt heat up extremely like my previous commnets. BUT I have two pairs now and one doesnt heat up at all and the other one does, so one might hhave came out faulty/defective. I could have sent gamma the clippers to get them fixed/replaced but didnt want to deal with all thhat.
Have any of you guys had issues with the gammas being loud? I’ve taken mine apart twice now and cannot get them to be as quiet as they were right out the box.
Masters are still better all around clippers, followed by whal....I tryed Gamas and many other clippers and all those brands are trying to get those clippers to hit like masters or whals....they still fall a tab bit short...
Have to disagree with you 100% on that one. I have many products by both companies. I like what gamma is trying to do. But I think that wahl Delivers a much sturdier Product.
I would rather use the dubs any day. They feed hair much better. The zero guard is much better. And the 1.5 Guard is much better also. They have more teeth than the wahl premium guards. And the curve of the guards is much better. Dubs Force u to hold the guard flat to the head. A lot of times when people struggle with there fades, is because they are not holding the guard flat to the head. Plus they are magnetic, and I just prefer working with them
@@jasonmercurio1928 yeah i been hearing many positive things about them definitely gonna have to check them out and compare to the premium guards I just wish they give us more color options not just only one but that’s just me I guess the pros outweigh the cons🤷🏽♂️

Im not so convinced with the strech bracket. The screw of the lever has no Nut compare to Wahl. Its just screwed to a plastic. Let me know after using some time if its still holding the bracket. Just like most Clippers with Click lever. Once you removed the pin that locks in place in the notches. The blade gets crooked while opening the lever coz the screw is loosened already. Hope that make sense. But i still want to know. Tnx Bro🙌🏽

No biting or loud noises

Very bad for bulk
Does it come zero gapped out of the box?
No it doesn't. Check out my zero gap video.. th-cam.com/video/DgO7HNhiG8A/w-d-xo.html

Kiepe Diavel blade

What do you think of putting a taper blade and a ceramic blade on it?
Gamma x ergo or wahl senior??
Both! I use them for different purposes
What's the phat master blade saying on the style crafts?
The Phat blade on Ergos are Str8 fire!! Nothing compAres!!! Seriously
I am hesitant to choose between Gamma+ x-ergo and SC Ergo Magnetic Clipper. Which one is the smaller sound? Which horsepower is strong? Thank you!
X-ERGO has more power and is slightly louder and the SC/Gamma Ergo is quieter and great for fading and detailing
Is this better than wahl senior clipper??
Does the gamma-ergo clipper blade fit on the 50. Caliber clippers?
Yes I have a sc fusion blade on my 50 caland it works amazing
Bro help me , what do You preffer for fading , ergo x , Sc ergo ora Sc rebel ?
So far the ergo's are my favourite out of them

Seniors over masters lets be real
I hate how loud the click is on the lever, the babyliss lever has a smooth click
I'm accustomed to it now, not tried the babyliss clipper yet
