Does the black motor cover with the red thing on the top, go on top of the top part of the motor which spins. Protect the motor from hair getting stuck and spun around the motor, slowing down the speed of it? Does it need to be cleaned?

My Gamma Boosted suddenly stopped working. I checked the battery voltage after charging. Less than 1V on the battery. Charging cable brings 5V. Is the cirquit board damaged or is it the battery that has to be replaced? I direct connected the cables without the switch for testing purposes to make sure it is not the switch. I use my clipper once a week and for less than half a year now. Any recommendations?

How to fix the first problem

Gamma's circuits does not get damaged usually, by a high chance changing the battery is a fix
