    Some of the best bass fishing lures are soft plastics, one of the best soft plastics is a zoom trick worm.
    The zoom trick worm comes in a ton of different colors, so how do you sort through to see which ones to throw. In this video we will discuss just that!
    BassFishingHQ is dedicated to teaching people how to catch more and bigger bass. I will go over different bass fishing tips & techniques that will put more fish in the boat or on the shore. Whether you are just starting out or a seasoned tournament angler, my goal is to help you catch more bass.

    From Namibia:
    Junebug chartreuse tail… That trickworm works well here in the height of summer, when bass are very lethargic. Rigged on a 1/16oz light sliding Texas weight with a 1/0 or a 2/0 EWG hook… !

    Sup great tips on one of my favorite worms. I have most of my plastics custom made local. Can pick color, salt, glitter ECT.. When my worms get tail bit or becomes chewed up a bit, I cut tail end off and use on wacky rig like a sanco. One color I made up is watermelon with little red in it, no salt, and a hydrophilic? Glitter. Even have my craws made same way just works. Great advice. As you may remember I love a drop shot and these worms work well on it. And a curly tail worm. I'm sure will see more plastics in videos🤙 ty

    Have & like your color selection. The bulk of my worm's are zoom trick worms, my go to. The one worm that broke my heart was the Power Bait 4" ox blood finesse, which is no longer made. I've seen the 6" but doesn't perform as well as that 4".

    # 8 Trick Worm - California 420.. It's definitely a sleeper here in California.

  • @billyhill2488
    @billyhill2488 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    My 8th color would be green pumpkin/violet. That color just plain works for me. The trick worm is one of those soft plastic baits that I would choose to fish for a whole year if I could only pick one. And if you pinch a couple inches of the head off you can have both a Ned bait and a finesse worm from that one pinch if you're in a...PINCH. When I tear a trick worm up I save the two pieces for those situations because you never know. Wacky rig with a leader and big barrel swivel for the weight also works great with a trick worm and finesse worm too. I like a medium action spinning rod when weightless to lob it out there better and my hookset is more of a lean and reel anyway when doing that.

    Dude a Texas rig white trick worm has been crushing it lately in the pond I usually fish here in north Florida. I caught 4 bass yesterday, my brother got his first bass ever and my best friend got his first today (the biggest reason I’ve been fishing with him lately has been to get him to catch his first fish). It’s a pretty stained pond and I’m guessing the bass can just see it better. I saw a video of a guy taking a whole bunch of worms in different colors underwater in pretty stained water and the ones that stood out most from farther away were white and chartreuse so I decided to get some white trick worms and they absolutely crushed them. Totally recommend them, they almost work like a Ned rig or a shaky head underwater with a 3/16 oz weight and 3/0 thick wire Eagle Claw hook but weedless. They like it when I just slowly drag the worm and then bam they thump it, it works better than a Senko for me, just picked up Bubblegum and Merthiolate tonight so I’ll see how they do!

    I've really come to love this channel. Always good tips with no secret agenda. I can't stand the googan squad or the cheerleading ass slappers as I call them. Every fish is a frickin state record and I just get pissed off when someone weighs a lb and a half fish then cheers about it. I've seen u set the hook on a 22oz non keeper and damn near land the little fella from 20ft out but that's all good. I enjoy Bass Geek who got me on the floating worm this spring. 2nd cast, lime green trick worm and a 7 1" ML Avid X with 6lb test landed me a 5lb bass 6 inches off the bank. I never caught another 1. He's fun cause he sounds like a mix of Bill Dance and Hank Parker which takes me back to my youth! I think ur in Ohio? I'm outskirts of Chicago. If you run a fish with Tyler for a day let me know. I got a bass hat and a Finn hoody to cover the back of the boat in marketing merch. I looked into a day on Table Rock with Randy but it's $700. That's a steep charter to throw weightless wacky rigs all day shallow!! I kinda don't work anymore so given an hr of prep and drive time I can meet you at any ramp. If you replied to this with an address right now I'd be at ur launch with sandwiches and water at 4:30am. That's to show how flexible I am not just a gratuitous plug on taking me out. I think we're close tho and I'm a Marine Corps Vet with a Bass hat and Finn hoody! I also liked this video. Lol! You could say I'm ur guy? It is great content Ty and I look fwd to it. I never feel like ur selling me overstocked methiolate trick worms for TW like I do with the TBassin guys. They mention #2 owner O rings and TW sells out in 30 min. One last thing and I'll unstalk you. We go fishing, I got all the gas and snacks/ice. And if you can teach me to skip a baitcaster...that's an easy $250 extra or shirts/hats ur call. You make it look sick. Especially with something big like a Magdraft. Then u can name ur price!! Kinda long, sorry. Normal retired 53yr old. Marine Veteran that got into tournament fishing cause it all but cures PTSD. Figure I could learn a ton from you b4 we're both frozen out. Thx Ty and again, really great channel. Mark M

      I literally have only one box for each type of bait I use. One box of trick worms, one box of speed worms, one box of senkos . Green pumpkin, junebug, black and blue, watermelon red, blue. In soft plastics those colors will catch bass any season and in all water clarity. I spend all my efforts in locating bass not buying baits because if you can find them it’s rare you can’t get them to bite. However, when you’re not around fish it doesn’t matter what hot “TH-cam bait you’re throwing, you’ll never catch a fish …
