It was SO nice and SO funny to bump into you today Mariam! Thank you so much again for all your videos and recommendations 🍧 you definitely have the best videos in all of Hawaii!! 😃
Good video! I just moved off the island but I loved going to coffee brew and foam entering Waikiki on Ala moana blvd. And Aloha Kitchen on Ena road is amazing! Just gets busy so be sure to get in early!
Hi, you know when you're passing a given restaurant etc. imho it'll be better if you stop for a split second instead of videoing while moving, while you're still walking.
I figured it wouldn't be in this video because it's stashed away on Ena away from everything, but Aloha Kitchen is probably the best breakfast on the west side.
Yikes! International Marketplace has some good options. Their ground floor has a food hall with a bunch of options & their top floor has a few different restaurants too. Shorefyre is one of my favorites!
DFS was frequented by foreign visitors to Hawaii. As a resident of Japan, I would say it's because the tourist numbers from Japan, China, and South Korea have not returned to their highs pre-pandemic. We just started having regular flights return to Hawaii about 2 months ago. Japan is still closed to foreigners for the most part (but will reopen in October).

Thank you for the video. Was in Waikiki 2 months ago and missed half of these places.
Will definitely have to try them next time!
These are great! Would you happen to have a video from the Holiday Inn Express to the beach?
I don't! It's about a 10-15 minute walk. This video is a good 45-min ish narrated Waikiki walk: th-cam.com/video/5k0U2iXCm18/w-d-xo.html

Why is DFS closed?
DFS closed over COVID during the lockdown and hasn't reopened since.
DFS was frequented by foreign visitors to Hawaii. As a resident of Japan, I would say it's because the tourist numbers from Japan, China, and South Korea have not returned to their highs pre-pandemic. We just started having regular flights return to Hawaii about 2 months ago. Japan is still closed to foreigners for the most part (but will reopen in October).
half of your spots are chains! Why? SMH
Waikiki has a lot of chains. Especially for early morning breakfast spots.
Nothing wrong with chains. People love Dennys, IHOP, cheesecake factory etc...
You can have the best of both worlds in Hawaii!
