I've been waiting for wurmcoil Commander. It was the first card I ever purchased. In my favorite minifigure that I have for d&d is polukranos. So this is instant Commander for me. Plus they themed it to be actually like a Hydra because when you cut off one of the heads, to replace that one head, according to Greek mythology. So honestly this card is absolutely amazing! Nerd rant over hahaha
Hm , im not sure on how practical it could be but how bout adding Surrak and Goreclaw so that your nontoken Hydras have haste the moment the moment they enter the fight?
I also like Ayara, Widow of the Realm//Ayara, Furnace Queen for the Artifact Aristocrat type of deck it leans to. Add Slobad, Iron Golem & Illuminator Szeras and get value off her flip side.
I don't know about 2 being compleated in Theros. Story wise there was suppose to be two or three gods that got compleated. Probably gonna be like Beyond Death where they have a list of characters but not enough slots.
@@PubStompMTG I get what you mean but I want to see more compleated legends. Here's to helping Aftermath has a few more since I'm dead set on building phyrexian commanders provided I don't have one that plays in their style yet.
Awaken the woods would be pretty good. I would replace a ramp spell like natures lore. You get more value out of awaken the woods, especially in late game
Ah, excellent point. I was looking to provide a bit more mana with some token synergy but was mulling over what to change. This was a fantastic deck teck to watch, thank you
Wait a sec, dumb question here. How are there white cards in this deck if the commander costs 3 green to cast? Is it because it says white in the backside?
Also, on the bottom left of the backside's picture, there is a green/white circle. The colors in those circles are included in the card's color identity. Other notable cards that have a color identity but no corresponding mana symbols include Westvale Abbey, Elbrus the Binding Blade, and Archangel Avacyn. The first 2 are technically black cards due to the back side demons being black, and the back side of Avacyn adds red to her color identity

It has that transform ability paying a phyrexian white mana. Because of that, it has a white color identity
