Idk what the budget is for this list. But I would add Wrenn and Realmbreaker. Once you get to her emblem, you can just keep casting those 1 drops from the grave. She's gonna be super easy to protect since half of your hydras will have reach. So it should be super easy to get to her Ultimate, and once you have the emblem, it's there for the rest of the game
Gargos is my boy and will always be my favourite deck, but hydras are my favourite tribe and this looks like a really fun and different way to play them. I'm definitely building this deck! Also I'm really excited that there's finally another hydra tribal commander!

I tried finding some other budget options, and it turns out there's some hidden goodies out there! Gutter Grime might work as your secondary Polukranos in the 99, except it creates bigger and bigger oozes for each hydra that dies. Haruspex seems interesting during the "engine" turn, accumulating +1/+1 counters then throwing them away for a big mana ramp! Abiding Grace gives extra value at end step by reanimating one of the many 1 mana hydras, converting it into more tokens. Of course, there's also some common voltron options, like Alpha Authority and Whispersilk Mantle. Those are some extra protection for Polukranos, while making it better in combat!
I dig the suggestions abiding grace almost made it into the deck I especially like gutter grimes just netting more and more tokens that get bigger and bigger!

Lol I immediately ordered the cards for this one but had to make it slightly less budget by adding three cards that I already happened to own… Parallel Lives, Anointed Procession and Mondrak (which I just happened to pull the other day)
I found a weird choice, but Teshar can return one of your 0/0 hydras to the battlefield when you play a historic card. Could add some incidental hydra tokens.
By the time the world tree triggers and goes to put the counters on the hydra it’ll already be dead. The same is true for effects like great henge. Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed!
Okay so I just found the most amazing card for this deck. Yedora, Grave Gardener. Whenever your non token creatures die, return them to the battlefield flipped over as lands. All your hydra spells you cast for 1 mana basically are free now. 😂
It’s definitely one of the slower ones and gets set back hard if the commander is removed but, yes I have won a couple games with it Vs non budget decks.

That would be extremely broken I try to keep these builds under $65 but it’s definitely an amazing upgrade!

The new Guardian Scalelord is Sun Titan #2 and also Luminous Broodmoth has the Hydras come back immediately just to die again and get more triggers…

I would definitely add Luminous Broodmoth since it'll instantly revive any Hydra that kills itself, only for that hydra to kill itself again.

Wouldn't Tribute to the World Tree give all your 0/0 Hydras counters instead? I wouldn't have thought to cast Hydras for X=0, very nice!

Nim deathmantle and ashnod’s altar with your commander out and another hydra to sac = infinite hydras
At least I think so. I’d have to figure out the timing on if they would enter and die before you sac it if it’s a base 0/0 hydra
You’d need a hydra with some toughness on it or you’ll just end up with infinite etbs and die triggers you could draw your deck tho!!

is there a reason why most selesnya decks mention Dauntless Escort when Selfless Spirit can do the same but its easier to cast?

I always leave a moxfield link the the description so you can play test before buying. It does sound low but when playing the deck it feels good 😁
But how can you get your hydras to die?
Casting them for 0 kills them sense they enter as a 0/0
