I left this video with almost no cuts because I think it helps display my emotions on this one (long pauses, loss of words)... I hope y'all enjoyed! :) Here is a playlist of all my present/future reactions to The Warning!: th-cam.com/play/PLDYJIGSuxqEmGFk7r7dFWd5MNPMqOhz1w.html
Great reaction, this song is a anthemic masterpiece! If you want to hear this amazing song in a completely different way, check out this orchestral version a guy did a couple of years ago. He actually did 3 songs by TW, “Martirio”, “Dust To Dust” & “Dull Knives” & they’re all fantastic! I’m not sure if it would make for a good reaction video but they all deserve to be heard because they’re so good! I’ll leave a link if you or any other member of TWA is interested. ⚡️🤘th-cam.com/video/SfQSNn8PnPM/w-d-xo.html
I am from Australia, don’t speak Spanish, yet this is one of my favourite songs ever. I get chills every single time I hear it. Great reaction, it’s exactly how I felt the first time. Cheers
This song has remained in my top 3 The Warning songs for a long time now. This song showed me that there's no language barrier with great music. I agree with a lot of the others who have recommended the video. I love it as well. Thanks for the reaction. 😊
Excellent reaction! I had the same response as you when this track was released. Instantly became my all time favorite for this band. BTW, the music video is killer. You have to witness all things Martirio. This track should have its own fan club. ✌️❤️🔥
Usually people tell you to watch the live versions of their songs, but in the case of Martirio, their music video is amazing and captivating. Beautifully done!
This is an emotionally driven song. it gets you in your feels with just the tone and harmonies. It’s Tough love from the girls as they push you through a moment of despair (lifetime of despair if you don’t break the cycle) to get up and fight.
Full disclosure, and I do not know why, but I tear up every time I hear Martirio. First time to this time and the dozens of times in between. Many a reactor have said they don’t write complicated songs. That may be true in some sense…but when it comes to hitting the listeners senses they write exactly what is needed to resonate deeply within. Martirio resonates within me directly in to my soul. Great reaction.
@mt4design2 - the first time I ever heard The Warning...it wasn't the lyrics that drew my attention...it was the music...the way these 3 ladies compose their music...the riffs, the chorus, the bridges, everything that has a musical note, they put so much heart into them!! #APDVillaReality
Everything you express about this one…. Is what everybody feels. It’s universal. These ladies are so good…. It’s mind blowing. I’m 60 and tearing up… I have heard this song 50 times, and I tear up every time.
An absolute Anthem! "Is the studio version anything like this?” - just watch the OMV and you´ll see, also beautiful scenery, shot in the Icamole desert north of their hometown. React to next? I highly recommend QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE at Lunario.
The first time I heard this, from the Teatro Metropolitán concert in front of 3000 people, my first thought was there should be 50000 singing along. On of the best rock anthem ever. I have seen people who speak no Spanish brought to tears by Martirio. Just epic.
"Music...is...the...language" I agree, this is one of their greatest and I don't speak a lick of Spanish. Their music video of this is incredible as well. Worth the watch.❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
One of those rare TW songs where the official music video is just as excellent as the live performance. A work of art in it's own right and if you need some world class rock star posing...
all 60 of their tracks from their first EP and all four albums are on Spotify... i have them all in my DPA/TW playlists and listen to them on loop 24x7... TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA
This song gets me every time!! 🥲 I got to hear it live last October and was singing my lungs out 🥹. I’m Spanish speaking and I was so amazed that the crowd in the majority were non Spanish speakers were singing it too 🥰🥰
Thanks for your reaction. I don't understand Spanish, but I also think that Matirio is such an epic (almost beautiful) sounding song. I think you would really enjoy the official video of this song. They put a bit of work into it.
SUBBED! No clue why I haven't before. Thought I did! Yeah. Sometimes there are no words, and that's enough. Speechless is sometimes better than a 5 minute breakdown of the song.
At one festival they had a tough time limit and so they had to remove Martirio from their setlist. But the crowd was clamoring for it, chanting the title. So, Dany did a quick, impromptu acapella rendition for the crowd. Pretty impressive.
This was at The World Is A Vampire festival at the Foro Sol(biggest venue) in Mexico City, an alternative musical festival created by Billy Corgan of The Smashing Pumpkins.
This song was my favorite for quite a while and it's still in my top 3 songs of theirs. It's an emotional song IMO. Check out the OMV, it gives me chills.
Martirio stands out as a unique piece in ERROR’s lineup. It was the only song from the album performed live before recording, debuted twice during The Warning's tour in Argentina in 2019. That early live version had slight differences compared to the final track. The song delves into the weight of suffering and its grip on the human spirit, offering two potential interpretations. On one hand, it paints a bleak picture of inescapable pain, where the protagonist feels trapped in a cycle of despair, surrendering to their "destiny" of anguish and isolation. The imagery of drowning in martyrdom and the fire at their feet suggests a life consumed by suffering with no hope of relief. On the other hand, Martirio can also be read as a tough-love message, urging someone to stop dwelling in their pain and face the hard truth that suffering is inevitable but not insurmountable. Lines like "Learn from those who suffered" and "Say goodbye, foolish martyr" encourage breaking free from self-imposed victimhood and embracing growth, even when it feels impossible. This duality gives the song a raw emotional complexity that resonates deeply, depending on how it is interpreted.
It’s a song that never gets old and top tier. You should check out the music video and the live performance at Teatro Metropolitan. The bass work is incredible
This one has grown to be nearly invincible for me, one of their best. Iconic. As was mentioned, you should watch their official video for this, even on your own time, you don't need to react to it. It's extremely artsy, in the best way. Cinematic. Shot out in the remote hills and dessert NW of their hometown of Monterrey. If the music video awards had a category for pure art this would be the winner❤ You'll be goosebumpin all over again.
Love the reaction bro I totally get you getting emotional with this song, I’m a native Spanish speaker so I understand the lyrics perfectly and everytime I hear this song I just start weeping 😂 it really hits me to my core. I really want to say it’s my favorite but man The Warning have soooo many insane songs it’s tough to put just one in that spot.
A fantastic song an anthem style perfect for arenas and stadiums they usually close their shows with it before encores. I don't speak Spanish but this song moves me and it's awesome to hear TW in their native language so beautiful. Thanks for doing this one the OMV is a beauty very well done. 🔥⚡
You would love the official video to this song! They almost look like freaking super heroes!! It's killer my favorite Warning song and can't understand the words😂
This song has been my favorite since the day I first heard it. The vocals, the message, the instrumentation and the arrangement are all perfect. Glad you liked it.
That "buenos noches, Ciudad de Mexico!" at 6:26 from Pau... every time I hear Martirio, whether studio or live recordings like these, I always hear Pau say "Good Night Baltimore" as she did to us in 2023 and 2024.
Hell of a way to end a show, eh? All of us at the Pepsi Center that evening we at a loss for words. This show is one of the best live music events I have seen in nearly 50 years of concert going. This song in particular has stadium anthem written all over it. At the end, the crowd can sing the "Oh, Oh oh oh ohs" along at the tops of their lungs.
Got to me first time I heard it, and I didn't have a clue what they where singing about. Now as I understand the Spanish language and it's nuances a little better, it hits twice as hard. Great reaction, thanks very much. ❤✌🤘⚡🔥
Dany the masterful Riff Master. Along with absolutely breathtaking Volcals... You need to give Hell You Call A Dream (Pepsi Center) And Automatic Sun from Tecate Pa'l Norte festival a shot...
The cadence of the lyrics pull you in with lots of emotion as well. I dont understand a single word but who cares? The tone of her guitar for the solo is amazing. This song does hit you that way. I feel like that on so many of their songs. If you want to see Paulina come out from behind the drums do "Narcisista" from the Teatro Metroplitan.
So true! When I first started listening to them about a year ago….every time I listened to another song…I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. Another new favorite. I couldn’t stop telling people you have to hear this group. They may become the best ever.
You know how we all like their outros to be longer? Yeah, this one, is the one that could use it most. Imagine another 30 seconds of Dany and that epic finish!
I found this song kinda snuck up on me. Wasn't anything amazing the first time I heard it, but everytime now it builds. And in Toronto when we saw all 3 Spanish songs on the setlist it sparked a moment of joy in me that surprised me. Hearing the song live though, that was something incredible and unexpected. Wasn't a rock out moment, felt like a musical trance, just vibing out elevated beyond the music. I will never forget looking around at the crowd and seeing everyone looking the same way, just enjoying DPA transporting us somewhere special. Also, I love your enthusiasm for the guitar parts! Totally different for me, as the bass is what pulls me in. Especially Ale's crazy little run coming back from the bridge (it's actually easier to hear that run on the album version I find). If you're looking for your next 'favourite' Warning song, my suggestion would have to be a 2-video reaction: When I'm Alone. It's a Dany special song, watch the Teatro Metro version first (the full-band version with some incredible visual cues), and then watch the Pepsi Center version that is solo acoustic, just Dany and the crowd. You will need subtitles on for that one, as she gives an awesome personal speech to the crowd. There's also Survive, a fan-favourite for sure. Either the Teatro Metro or Pepsi Center versions are amazing. Personally I like the outro from Teatro slightly better, but for every other part I lean Pepsi Center. Also you can watch their whole Tedx 2017 performance where they play both of those songs along with some talks to the audience. I like the idea of going back to this video after seeing others, to see both how far they've come since then, but also how hard they could rock even back then.
This one's been my favorite of theirs from the get-go - studio AND live. And I'm surprised that it's not more popular - it doesn't get too many reactions. And you tearing up? You're not alone. This one gets me EVERY time, and I don't cry at the drop of a hat. It's an awesome composition. Thanks for the great reaction!
This is a beautiful song that gives me chills and makes me tear up every time I hear it. The ending part where the “Oh, ohihohoh oh…” is occurring then Dany comes in with those high notes is just breathtaking.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🤘🤘🤘⚡️⚡️⚡️
Maybe their best composition. Not easily, because of stiff competition in their own catalogue. But still I cannot think of a better composition of this band. No, not even HYCAD.
This song has slowly become one of my favorites, it's excellent. You should watch the video, it's worth it. Thanks and greetings from México!! 🇲🇽 🤘😁✌️ .
Hey Brother, make sure to check out the OMV for this one. That riff your on about just hits different set against the desert backdrop they had as a location. Rock on. \m/\m/
I too was in the "last Warning song I listened to was my favorite" syndrome. That is until I heard Martirio! It just floored me, and it is still my #1 in my playlist. And that is saying something since all of their other songs are way up on my playlist. The OMV is will worth the time to react to. I agree with you is that the guitar tone is unbelievable and perfectly mixed with the vocals, base and drums.
After mom passed away Spanish is no longer spoken by the current generation of my family. When I first heard Martirio I realized how much we lost. I cry every time I hear the song, as if it was mom’s life story. Surviving regrets and hardships she went through, because of the choices she made. I have learned to play Martirio on the guitar to teach my son Spanish. Now dad is in failing health and before it is too late, my son and I are learning his dialect. When Dany lets loose with that final haunting wail, I am just a crying mess. I adore this song.
Yeah, it doesn't get more epic than this song. If you have youtube premium it comes with YT music and you can play any video with your screen off so you can make a playlist of any live performance you want.
Tears for me, too, and Pau admits it can make her cry.. I decided quite a while ago that this was my favorite The Warning song, partly due to that beautifully emotional, even majestic ending, the guitar, Dany's cries. Hit's me in the soul every time. There is an OMV, very good.
As others have already mentioned, the OMV is a 'must watch' - beautifully filmed, and sonically awesome! Hey, btw, it's o.k. to let the tears go, - man, I remember I couldn't contain the moisture in my eyes the first time I saw them play it live in S.D. California.⚡️🤘 P.S. Why not react to the official video - we're here for it. Would luv to see your reaction to the video! 👊
I NEED Dany's solo ten bars longer. Darken the lights, just stand still at that mic and just fall all the way into this magical song, and show what she can really do! IMHO. I may love it more than they do. Lol! For me this song on the Error LP broke the tie with QOTMS. It should close every show and I don't even speak Spanish! How'd I get so opinionated?😂
The speechlessness that you experience is Warning Psychosis. It's common among people who have just listened to a Warning tune for the first time. I tell friends that they don't have to understand Spanish to get into this tune. The music and the vocals, whether you understand the lyrics or not, express the emotion of the song. It always hits me in the feels. In this performance, the music is true to the studio version. The music video visuals add another level of excellence. It's worth a watch. 🤘😎⚡
I left this video with almost no cuts because I think it helps display my emotions on this one (long pauses, loss of words)... I hope y'all enjoyed! :)

The guitar solo at the end of the song needs to be extended, it can just go on and on. Love it.
Check out the teatro Metropolitan CDMX version of Martirio it's also very good. It's my favorite.

Love this song.. 🥰🤘⚡️🔥
And I think I like the Teatro Metropolitan version even more. 🤯

The music video for this song is worth a watch.
@@eddiedillon5768 definitely! Probably my favorite of theirs! Simple yet haunting, like the song itself!

“Drown in your martyrdom. It is your destiny: surrender…” Meaning: you’ve been warned 😅
🤘Epic reaction for an epic song 🤘
the original music video of this song is beautiful
Arena anthem. When thousands of fans sing with them at the end it’s Magicl

One of my favorites for sure!!!!! 💯🤘🤘🤘
This is their best song to date and will be tough to beat, Survive and Narcisista come close, but not quite.
This song has remained in my top 3 The Warning songs for a long time now. This song showed me that there's no language barrier with great music. I agree with a lot of the others who have recommended the video. I love it as well. Thanks for the reaction. 😊
This EPIC song is a rock anthem!!
Absolutely awesome live performance!

This is not a song, is an anthem! 💙 And the ending is chilling... 🤩
oh. the next one on the setlist is Evolve ... good luck 🤣
This song is in my permanent top 5. It so deserves to be played in sold-out stadiums.
Without a doubt!
Usually people tell you to watch the live versions of their songs, but in the case of Martirio, their music video is amazing and captivating. Beautifully done!
No worries, Ratty. We feel you. 😊
This song holds a special place for almost all of us in TWA.
Great reaction as expected to Martirio.
This is an emotionally driven song. it gets you in your feels with just the tone and harmonies. It’s Tough love from the girls as they push you through a moment of despair (lifetime of despair if you don’t break the cycle) to get up and fight.
Wow

Dany's vocals really soar in Martirio.
If you don't get chills from this anthem you are dead!
🤣🤣🤣 You've been infected with The Warning Syndrome (TM). The last song you hear becomes your favorite!!
The first time I heard this, from the Teatro Metropolitán concert in front of 3000 people, my first thought was there should be 50000 singing along. On of the best rock anthem ever. I have seen people who speak no Spanish brought to tears by Martirio. Just epic.
I’ve listened to this song well over a thousand times and I literally get goosebumps every single time. EVERY.SINGLE. TIME. Incredible.
Music video, no more to say. Go enjoy it, you're welcome!
Great reaction.
You gotta see the official video for this song
In my opinion, Martirio is the greatest rock anthem/ballad in the last 30years, and I don't even speak Spanish. It is that good.
100% agree
I have never even looked at a translation for the song. I don't need to know what the words say, I feel the song and that is more important.
Yes, this has an emotional element to it. Check out the music video.
"Music...is...the...language" I agree, this is one of their greatest and I don't speak a lick of Spanish. Their music video of this is incredible as well. Worth the watch.❤🔥❤🔥❤🔥
Yeah, what's left to say, but we've been WARNED! 🤘⚡️🫶🇲🇽

This song is anthemic. It's a musical trip that works in any language. The arrangement is incredible. As the band say, "Music is the language."
You should watch the music video for this one, on your own time if nothing else. It matches the song.
This one has all the special sauce!
all 60 of their tracks from their first EP and all four albums are on Spotify... i have them all in my DPA/TW playlists and listen to them on loop 24x7...

most have the same issues finding words,, they are that good
Very good stadium rock song. Everybody can chant it.
One of their best songs...and I don't understand a word! 🤩
This is one of those songs that you don't have to understand a word of and it hits you.
❤️⚡🤘
California.⚡️🤘
