If there was ever anyone that deserves to be role models for little girls, pre-teens, and young women... it is these three sisters. Bold, confident, talented, intelligent, humorous, and well grounded. And so many other positive adjectives can be added in here. A testament to their proud parents.
I discovered The Warning at almost exactly the same time as Cole Brauer crossed the finish line in second place of the Global Solo Challenge. Circumnavigating the globe solo non-stop in a Class 40 sailboat, 130 days at sea, is a seriously epic achievement, the first U.S.A woman to do so. My thoughts at the time were almost identical to yours, except for me it was: "These *four* women deserve to be role models ...". While Cole was 29 at the time, that's still young enough. And somewhat like The Warning, at the time she had 10 years of experience sailing, four of those as captain of the craft.
I’m a 50yr old bloke from Australia, can’t speak Spanish but this is one of my favourite songs ever, gives me chills and brings tears every time I hear it. Great reaction guys. You must see Narcissista live at Teatro and Que Mas Quirres Music video. You won’t be disappointed.
@@TJandTheGringa I got ahead of myself, YOU are doing the version from teatro Metropolitan. They also played it at the Pepsi center concert and it is also great but i think i like the one from Metropolitan because it is the first time i saw them performing it.
I agree with you 100%. I don't speak a word of spanish but I fell in love with this song the first time I heard it. It remains as my favorite Warning song. Thank You for the translation.
Fun fact about that "decimated-ass tent": As I recall the lore, the crew put this up intending it to be an actual tent to provide a bit of a break from the wind & the bugs. But the wind in the high desert that day was BRUTAL and shredded the fabric. Rather than call it a loss, well, you see what they did with those lemons.
This is a great song for sure, but played live, in Mexico, at the end of their show, is amazing to be part of. You don't have to know much Spanish to sing along at the end. I also love how proud they are of their Mexican heritage and bring all us non-Mexicans in to join in song. I was not at the Teatro performance, but did go down to Mexico to be part of the Pepsi Center show last year. The 8000 of us at the Pepsi Center were singing with all we had. I can't recall leaving a concert on such a high with a huge smile on my face.
This band were born to perform but perform live they are fernominal in any language the talent personality stage presence there voices perfection they could sing in martian they would❤❤❤ still be my favorite band I've herd in decades
This one is at the top of my list as well. The Teatro metropolitan is performance is my favorite simply because when Dany does her wail at the end and her voice cracks a tiny bit, it just explodes with emotion.
I apologetically don't speak any Spanish, but this song is in MY favorite top 5 The Warning songs easily. Music ascends beyond so many barriers, such as language. Thanks for the reaction. 😊
Dany's development as a vocalist over the last few years is incredible. She really challenged herself with the album Error, especially on this song. And she has taken it even further with Keep Me Fed. She has become one of the best rock vocalists ever, and it's incredible to think where she might take her voice over the next ten years, if she keeps it healthy. The way she maintains consistency with the note and volume when her voice breaks during the wail at the end is a thing of true greatness. She's right up there with some of my all time favourite female singers, like Janis Joplin and Alanis Morissette.
Well, if you like Alanis Morissette you are going to love "You Ought to know" when TW does the cover. If you are subbed to Sirious you can see it performed.
I don't speak Spanish but absolutely love this song. It rocks 🤘🏻. These sisters have me wanting to learn spanish now. I'm going to give it a try. 🎸🤘🏻⚡️
I didn’t fully connect with this song until seeing them live for the first time. They played it at the end of their set with “Evolve” following as the encore. At the end of this song, with Dany doing that wail in the outro about 20 feet from me, I found myself unexpectedly tearing up. I have no idea why, but she got me. I’ve been all in on this song since. When the official video came out, there was some behind the scenes pics and stories released. They talked about how cold it was on that shoot, but my favorite was one of those long sheets flapping right into poor Pau’s face as she was playing. Whoever took the pic got it at the perfect moment.
They have two more spanish songs and both are also great! Narcisista - written as a response to their critics who complained about them singing in English - and Que Mas Quieres - a fun rock song. And the OMV for Que Mas Quieres was Pau's directorial debut as she co-directed it with Ivan.
Good reaction guys. I feel the same way about this song Jimmy. Besides their crazy talent, I love that they are a band with emotion that will suck you into their orbit if you're into that.
I'm glad you did the Teatro Metropolitan version. The Pepsi Center performance is awesome, but there is something special about the Teatro Metropolitan version. There is an intensity in that performance, especially near the end when Pau pumps the audience and Dany's vocals soar and break. I choke up everytime I see it and I don't know why.
Thank you so much! I saw your video pop up on my feed 13 seconds after you uploaded it! Lol The nice thkng about wstching the studio version AND the luve version is it becomes obvious that they do not use any trickery in the studio to make themselves sound better. They are truly masters of their craft. I dont even need to understand the kyrics to have my body covered in goosbumps! When Dany belts out at the end, leading into that closing guitar solo? I'm in tears. They have one song in Soanish on each of their last three albums. The other two are Que Mas Quieres y Narcisista. Thank you again for getting to my request so quickly. Very nice job! Oh, one mire thing, I think this is the first time I've seen you dance, Jimmy! Lol
Charlie!! Thank YOU so much for this song! . We truly appreciate all you have done for this channel and we are lucky to have you here with us. I have not stopped listening to this song .. I feel this song will go down in history as one of the great arena rock anthems. I don't understand much Spanish (words here and there) but the depth of feeling is conveyed through her voice and I find myself thrilled every time I hear it.
I've been listening to these ladies for about 2 years. Like you, Martirio has been and is my favorite song of theirs. I was so impressed by everything about the song. I was glad to hear you, Jimmy, say exactly what I said when I first heard it. I don't speak a lick of Spanish, but it isn't necessary to enjoy this great piece. Martirio doesn't get the love and listens it deserves, so thanks for reacting to it.
To me one of the great parts of this song and there are many is the way Dany channels her inner David Gilmour. Her guitar truly speaks to you even when she is not singing.
The most beautiful Warning song, like a poem set to music. Also - they have their entire Pepsi Center CDMX 2023 concert now posted on their channel - all individual songs, plus the full concert. Even better than Teatro Metropolitan, and well worth watching!

MARTIRIO is my favorite. So many are great songs, we're not supposed to have a favorite, but I can't help myself, MARTIRIO is so hauntingly beautiful. Dany's amazing vocals culminate in that incredible Belt-Wail, her guitar solo is the best; Pau's drumming is gorgeous; amazing power, rhythm, unbelievable control; finally, Ale's Bass is epic, the way she switches between playing the Melody-line and Bass-line is sublime; only a Bass player of Ale's caliber, a master Jazz Bassist playing that amazing 5 string Spector Bass, could pull it off. (It's great to be able to hear Ale sing!). Finally, the song's imagery is breathtaking. I'm not a native Spanish speaker, but I understand. MARTIRIO is a masterpiece; it should win both the Grammy and the Latin Grammy.
@hekmann Only world class Mexican rock band for now. I expect there are hundreds of young señoritas currently honing their craft from Mexico City to Tijuana.
Wow You guys have never listened to their song, 'Narcisista'?? th-cam.com/video/O7IAEhN4RMM/w-d-xo.html That is a MUST! It's Pau's middle finger to those who called them sell-outs when they were younger because all their songs to that point were in English. So 14 (16?) year old pissed off Pau created this little EFF YOU song in Spanish just for them. They sang it live at Foro Didi for the first time and you can see the daggers shooting out of Pau's eyes as they play it. And to add to that, they put the lyrics up on the screen behind the band so everyone would be sure to understand exactly what they were singing.
This tune hits me in the gut every time. I wish they were around 35 years ago; I could have used this message in my life at that time (I'm not even sure their parents had even _met_ at that time, so...) I was "that guy" that they are singing about; I fortunately dug myself out of that pit, but could have used the help at that time... even if it's delivered in the somewhat sarcastic tone of this song. They've said before that they write mostly in English simply because it's _easier_ than doing Spanish, because of the rigid grammar rules and occasional difficulty in finding words that rhyme and flow together... but when it works, the result is absolutely gorgeous. This song is perfect example of that.
Fun fact about the music video is that one of the figures dressed in black was their mom, Monica. Just thought I'd give you that little bit of information. Great reaction to my favorite band of all time. VIVA THE WARNING PARA SIEMPRE!!
Hey if you want to get in the top of the list of reactions for TW, search THE WARNING “YOU OUGHTA KNOW”. Someone uploaded yesterday’s cover and Dany NAILS IT!! It’s by far the baddest ass cover you’ll ever hear, Dany turned it up to 11 and is a total flame thrower!!

Thanks for a great reaction video! This performance of Martirio at Teatro is so, so, good. Dany's gritty, primal scream. Pau in tears behind her kit. The way they edited amateur looking footage in, it all just works to be an especially emotional performance.
Hi guys. Even though my Spanish is terrible this is also one of my favourites. Dani is sublime here. Ale is great. She could be a supermodel with her looks but, I'm with The Gringa here, Pao is a fabulous little packet of Dynamite, love her to bits. I'm 73 years old and I want these girls to be my adopted Granddaughters 😊😊❤
These young ladies are just incredible, especially live! Saw them live twice this year and spent both evenings close to the stage on Dani's side. I am quite sure: One day she will be recognized as one of the (if not the) greatest front-woman in Rock 'n Roll!
Great song! The sound the band achieved with producer David Bendeth on the Error album is just phenomenal. Dany still has Bendeth’s guitar amp sound programmed into her pedal board, so that’s what you hear during live shows.
Hi from sheffield yorkshire england yes I've only been listening to this band a few weeks wow as a metal rock gen xer i fell in love with this band from the first song i listened to was live from mtv elvole
Great reaction. You absolutely need to check out Narcisista. Another one is Spanish sung by Pau. When they first started playing, they were criticized in Mexico for singing only in English. Their response was, "Oh you want us to sing in Spanish? We can do that. Up yours! We'll sing any way we want to sing!"
I LOVE this song, I'm maybe semi fluent in Spanish at best, but this song was my first favorite from this album! They have said it's really hard to write rock music in spanish, but they nail every one theyvdo!
Ever since I first heard this song (they actually did an early version of it while on their S. American tour several years ago), I thought it would be a stadium-worthy rock anthem to be performed as the ultimate closer song in front of 50 or 60,000 people!😍🎵🎶 I know very little Spanish, despite living in a predominately Spanish community in the great Southwest, but I tried to learn as much of the lyrics as I could. This and Que mas Quieres have become 2 of my favorite Spanish songs by them.🥰🤘😎🤘 Great reaction you two!!😄👍👍👍
Out of their entire catalog of amazing music this is by far my favorite The Warning song!! And I can't even understand what she's saying. I have listened to this song more times than I can remember and everytime it brings me to tears especially when it's live!! What an amazing song by an amazing family!! I love your reactions!! Keep up the great work!! God bless!!🙏❤
Agree! Though it's in spanish it's still one of their best songs. I really felt the song from the start. Then I translated the lyrics, and it hit me, because I recognised myself...
Thank you guys for a great reaction double of one of my favorite songs ever from the Ladies. Since you love this so much Jimmy you need to see the performance from the Pepsi Center concert....it is simply EPIC!!!! Well all 23 songs from the Pepsi are EPIC. Cheers.
Great reaction guys to 3 fantastic sisters. This song gets me all the time. Would love to hear this song in Italian ( a language I know very well) but I don’t think you can beat in Spanish, ‘estilo mexicano’!
Another great reaction. Was fun to watch Jimmy absorb the lyrics in real time. This is def one of my favorite songs by Las Reinas del Rock, the perfect way to end their biggest headlining show to that point. There’s a great documentary about them recording Error during Covid. Their producers reaction to Dany’s singing on this song is great!
This is one of my favorites. I don't speak Spanish at all. The song is powerful and I love it.. They might be singing about house paint and it wouldn't matter.. Of course, I do know what the lyrics translate too. 🌎✌️
Martirio is an international Rock anthem. In my mind it’s TW’s Free Bird.
Aqui no Brasil, estou esperando o show delas em Março, 2025 - Orgulho de ser LATINO AMERICANO.!

Esta Cancion es genial, Paulina siempre llora con esta canción en vivo
A veces las cosas obvias son las más difíciles de ver
Sometimes the obvious things are the hardest to see
Te asfixiaste con tus propias manos
You suffocated with your own hands
Cuando todo apunta a que por fin alguien te viene a rescatar
When everything points to someone finally is coming to rescue you
Te encuentras nuevamente abandonado
You find yourself abandoned again
En tu martirio ahógate
In your martyrdom, drown yourself
Es tu destino, ¡entrégate!
It's your destiny, give in!
Intentas buscar explicación en lo profundo de tu ser
You try to find an explanation in the depths of your being
Y vuelves a caer en el vacío
And you fall back into the void
Al fin te das cuenta en secreto que el dolor se quedará
At last you secretly realize that the pain will stay
Será tu nueva vida de martirio
It'll be your new life of martyrdom
Ya no hay vuelta atrás
There is no turning back anymore
No puedes escapar del fuego a tus pies
You can't escape from the fire at your feet
Y en la oscuridad te perderás
And in the darkness, you'll get lost
En tu martirio ahógate
In your martyrdom, drown yourself
Es tu destino, ¡entrégate!
It's your destiny, give in!
A veces las cosas obvias son las más difíciles de ver
Sometimes the obvious things are the hardest to see
En tu martirio ahógate
In your martyrdom, drown yourself
Es tu destino, ¡entrégate!
It's your destiny, give in!
Aprende de los que sufrieron
Learn from those who suffered
Si hay que vivir en miedo
If there's to live in fear
Es mejor morir en manos de un adiós
It's better to die in hands of a goodbye
Tu vida triste, mártir tonto, di adiós
Your sad life, foolish martyr say goodbye
¡Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!
Oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh, oh-oh, oh-oh, oh, oh!

Asi es, hermano, en verdad si es la mejor canción de The Warning ❤️🔥
Sierto!
Fun fact about the music video is that one of the figures dressed in black was their mom, Monica. Just thought I'd give you that little bit of information. Great reaction to my favorite band of all time. VIVA THE WARNING PARA SIEMPRE!!
VIVA!!
What an awesome reaction, you guys killed it. I was rocking with ya. Yes...The Warning live will rock your fucking face off!!! 🤘😎
TySm for rocking out with us!! Love having you here 😃.
Sure 😎
The live one is outstanding!
Love your pic ! We are huge fans of Ghost ! 🤘
@@TJandTheGringa yeah man Tobias is the shit!!! I found them at the very beginning so I got lucky o got to watch the whole story and progression of PAPA!! 🤘🏽🤘🏽👻
I heard it on the radio yesterday and found the video this morning, literally had goosebumps the entire song! Dani's vocals holy shit!
@@nate98s10 I’m telling you man this is the point wheee they leave all other bands in this genre in the dust, DANI WAS ON FIRE!!
@@rodneyramirez603 i just heard it again on the radio XM octane they're playing the live sessions frequently. I hope your right and they explode. I will miss the small venue concerts though 😂
Thanks for a great reaction video! This performance of Martirio at Teatro is so, so, good. Dany's gritty, primal scream. Pau in tears behind her kit. The way they edited amateur looking footage in, it all just works to be an especially emotional performance.
They are just fkin amazing!
💗
Yeah, this is right at the top of my favorite The Warning songs! It rocks and it is so beautiful!!! Great reaction!!! 🤘⚡❤🔥
💖💖
These young ladies are just incredible, especially live! Saw them live twice this year and spent both evenings close to the stage on Dani's side. I am quite sure: One day she will be recognized as one of the (if not the) greatest front-woman in Rock 'n Roll!
So awesome you got so close to them!!
No hay duda TW es el mejor trío de rock del planeta
This is the most gorgeous video I’ve seen. Such an emotional anthem. Agree, love this song.
Great song! The sound the band achieved with producer David Bendeth on the Error album is just phenomenal. Dany still has Bendeth’s guitar amp sound programmed into her pedal board, so that’s what you hear during live shows.
This song is my favorite rock song in Spanish.
They played all 3 Spanish songs at the concerts i went to. I don't know what the words meant but i can sing along😂😂 there all great!
Hi from sheffield yorkshire england yes I've only been listening to this band a few weeks wow as a metal rock gen xer i fell in love with this band from the first song i listened to was live from mtv elvole
🍺
Beautiful song omg Dany can wrench the soul out of lump of coal. My fav encore song of theirs 🤘⚡️🤘
We are checking that out very soon so stay tuned!!
Still one of my favs!
I LOVE this song, I'm maybe semi fluent in Spanish at best, but this song was my first favorite from this album!
They have said it's really hard to write rock music in spanish, but they nail every one theyvdo!
Locura!!!
My favorite of their 3 Spanish songs! 😎👍
This and Que mas Quieres have become 2 of my favorite Spanish songs by them.🥰🤘😎🤘 Great reaction you two!!😄👍👍👍
Thanks so much for watching!!
Powerful, emotional, cathartic
🤟⚡️🤘⚠️
They are the real deal. Fantastic songwriting ! 🤟🏼🎸🥁🎸🤟🏼
❤️⚡🤘 Que Mas Quieres or Narcisista may be your next favorite. They are amazing in their native language.
Loved it as always!
This song is SOO good... Definitely both of our favorites right now. Thank you for Watching!!
Thank you so much for watching!!
Agree!
Though it's in spanish it's still one of their best songs.
I really felt the song from the start.
Then I translated the lyrics, and it hit me, because I recognised myself...
I totally feel you there!!👊. *BIG WOOKIEE ROAR*
This is my favorite song too, I can't speak or understand Spanish very well, but still my favorite song.
Thank you guys for a great reaction double of one of my favorite songs ever from the Ladies. Since you love this so much Jimmy you need to see the performance from the Pepsi Center concert....it is simply EPIC!!!! Well all 23 songs from the Pepsi are EPIC. Cheers.
Definitely gonna check it out!! Loooove this song!! TySM‼️
Pau said she was getting beat up from the curtains from all the wind!
🙏
Love this song! 🤘🔥⚡️
At the end of the live version when Dany’s voice cracks a little… instant goosebumps… 🥰
💖
Their stadium anthem song.
This is power!

Thank you so much for this!! 💕
Wonderful song and the first of my 4 favorite videos of theirs
Freezing cold nights in the high dessert of Nueva Leon
Power.
They have two other Spanish language songs. Narcissista and Que Mas Queres. Well worth a look.
Its your destiny surrender yourself
This is awesome live. When in Mexico and SA this is such an anthem you wouldn’t believe it.
ONCE AGAIN GREAT REACTION... THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN❤❤❤
❤️❤️❤️
This song is awesome
🤘😃💯‼️
My favorite song from TW !!
@@lohresouza9406 Yes!! Mine too!
This is one of my favorites. I don't speak Spanish at all. The song is powerful and I love it.. They might be singing about house paint and it wouldn't matter.. Of course, I do know what the lyrics translate too. 🌎✌️
