The fan base (The Warning Army) says that your favorite song from them is the last one you heard. So far, it's working that way for you.

    • @tay13666
      @tay13666 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

It's been working that way for me for a few years now.
Though there have been a few exceptions. When I first heard S!ck from the fan-cams of this show I wasn't that excited. Once the song actually dropped though and I could really hear it that changed.
And I have never been sold on Burnout.

It's amazing how many good songs they have. I started late with this band (Nov 2023), and LOVED the album Error a lot more than QOTMS, but now I absolutely love that album...songs like Sinister Smiles or Staker I didn't pay much attention at first, but now, wow. The last album is Ok but besides Automatic Sun, those songs don't hit me like the previous ones. Having said that, best rock band in a long time.

Dust to Dust has been a huge favorite for so many. Its the opening song for Queen of the Murder Scene and Dull Knives is also from that same concept album QOTMS. Their ages were 17, 15, and 12 when it was recorded. They are 22, 20, and 17 for this concert.
Lets go for "Disciple" from Tetro Metropolitan. Its really good from this show as well.

    • @paulf4650
      @paulf4650 หลายเดือนก่อน +6

Minor correction: They were 23, 21 & 18 for this show and 22, 20 & 17 for the Teatro Metropolitan show the prior year. Ale just turned 20 last week and Pau & Dany have birthdays upcoming in early February and late January (they will turn 23 & 25, respectively).

And apparently the basic idea sank into Pau's middle-school "emo, angsty phase" brain back when she was about 12. Took another year or so to flesh out the album and do a first production run, all of which needed to happen before the Lunario premiere, so the time line matches up.

Both of these songs are from "Queen of the Murder Scene," a concept album about a young woman’s descent into obsession, murder, and madness, released in 2018 when Dany was 18, Pau was 16, and Ale was 13.
"Dust to Dust," the opening track and part of the prologue, introduces themes of life, death, and deception, with the protagonist warning of how quickly things can spiral.
"Dull Knives (Cut Better)," the 9th track and part of Chapter 3, depicts her growing despair and self-harm as her evil side takes control, leaving her emotionally shattered and consumed by darkness.

Their songs are well written, thought out each one of their songs has a hook that sticks within your mind and they’re very reminiscent of when MTV first started. Their videos are really well done. They’re not drugged out and they have great values and they put in their time. Both of their parents have done a wonderful job and they have great support from the family which really helps I’m 72 years old and they’ve given me faith back in rock ‘n’ roll.😊

Just discovered your channel today! Watched and liked your reaction to Evolve, then saw this. Bass player Alejandra (Ale - pronounced AH-lay) wrote that nasty bass line for 'Dust to Dust' when she was 11, and has said she contributed the most to the lyrics on that song as well. She's got a GORGEOUS, smoky voice with a beautiful vibrato, really good range and perfect tone but, sadly, she hates singing lead and will likely never be lead on future songs. She's happy doing backups. And that's fine because live, she's the show within the show, so she definitely gets her share of love from us. Very active and interactive with the crowd, patrolling her side of the stage, constantly moving.

If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. The girls grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV.
The kids all learned classical piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they rarely do covers anymore. (A recent exception is a BRILLIANT cover of Alanis Morissette’s You Oughta Know, that they did at Sirius XM.) They are as good as, or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch.
Their first two albums were crowd-funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense.
These ladies are now 20, 22, and 24. They sold out their Spring, '24 tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They came back from Japan for a stint in L.A. and the launch of their new album, Keep Me Fed, on June 28. They performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live the night before. They were on MTV Push during July. Then they went on to Europe for festivals, Pol'and'Rock and Wacken Open Air, where they played before many tens of thousands of fans. They headed on to Canada, the USA, and other places this year. Most recently, they played at the MTV EMAs in England, and at the Latin Grammys, where they were nominated for their song, Que Mas Quieres. Currently recuperating and recharging at home, they have already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for two dates next February.
Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity. Welcome to a deep, deep, 11-year-old rabbit hole.

Two songs they jammed together from their concept album, Queen of the Murder Scene. Listened to in order the songs tell a story of unreturned love, obsession, murder and madness. Its a really good album! This concert is absolutely epic btw. And they played it while sick. (The drummer was so sick they were considering cancelling and her sisters were not at 100% either. And they performed this in Mexico City at over 7300 feet above sea level...with the energy they bring it is amazing!!)

They do have a very "classical rock" sound -- I think it can be attributed to their exposure to music as children which included their parents' playing concert videos by Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Queen etc... additionally the songs featured in the game "Rock Band" that clenched their resolve to create rock music themselves. They are one of the most inspiring acts out there and I can't wait to see them live again!

    *Dust to Dust*
*Dust to Dust* is the prologue song on DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ concept album (aka QOTMS) which has just turned 6 years old!
it is inviting you in to a funeral to hear the deep, dark, and foreboding story of a young woman apparently in love with someone that doesn't even know she exists... it is a story about how well things can appear to be going and how fast it can all fall apart... it follows her battles between good and evil over her soul...
the Spanish speaking part (hard to hear in the 2023 Pepsi Center show but definitely voiced by the audience) is their manager, Rudy, playing the part of a preacher at the funeral... translated to English, this is what he says...
Brother! Salvation is something that is earned!
Let go of your hand of resentment and
Wake up to a new light within you
    Although your brothers try
    Plunge into the darkness
DPA/TW's _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ is one of those concept albums best experienced by listening to it from beginning to end in order... listening to each of the songs piecemeal and out of order is like trying to figure out a movie by catching a portion near the end, one from near the beginning, and one near the middle... yeah, it won't work out very well... their performance of it at Lunario was the first time the album was presented in full to the public... it had been released over time in chapters of three songs each and the last three songs were presented here to complete the album... i like their Lunario show because it was the first public performance, the animations on the big screen behind Pau, and the girls were in character... others prefer their presentation of QOTMS at another venue for various reasons...
as a concept album, many of us members of TWA can easily see QOTMS as a movie or Broadway stage performance... it is that good and to think it was written by them at a very young age and released as their 2nd album! i mean... whoa! who does that?? 😹
Fun Fact: Rudy plays the part of a preacher in two of DPA/TW's tracks... the 1st one is in *Dust to Dust* off the QOTMS album... the 2nd is in the OMV for their 3rd Spanish track, *Qué Más Quieres* ... while you cannot hear it in the OMV, he does actually say the same part in both...
    TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

These two songs aren't together on the album. D2D is the opening song and is described as an "epilogue as prologue". The singer is playing the part of a preacher at a funeral telling a story about redemption" Dull Knives is much later and is a story about torture (cut better) and murder. And again, written by a 13 yr old drummer.

It's not that they have "zero copyright". What they did is take all their music off the "ContentID" system. This way anybody online who plays their videos on platforms like this do not get automatic claims via ContentID. Of course all their music has a copyright, it's just they are internet savvy and do what is right to ensure guys like you can react to their videos without hassle. They made their fame on social media and know how to wrangle it for their own promotion. Their label (Lava/Republic) and management had to agree to this before they signed.

    • @nichep1

They are part of UMG who is notorious for copyright problems.
Their newer stuff after they signed with Lava has occasionally produced strikes but it’s not by TW’s direct management.
There was a reaction channel I used to watch that quit doing TW reactions because they kept getting claims from 2 different companies in Mexico that no one could figure out had any association to TW.
The general rule seems to be if you react to anything that’s live and on their channel you’re pretty safe.
If you do some of the newer music videos or something 3rd party like VEVO or MTV you’re probably gonna be demonetized at a minimum and potentially get a claim.
TH-cam doesn’t seem to care too much about “fair use” anyways.

💥🤘🤘🤘💥 Hi how are you Ratty, I am from Juarez Chihuahua Mexlco 🇲🇽 and a proud fan of THE WARNING since 2015 and I want to share some facts that I've recopilated troughtout the years of knowing The Warning girls, and I think you'll like:
    ⚠️ "THE WARNING" ⚠️
💥 They are three sisters from Monterrey🇲🇽, The band started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013, the three of them are:
    ❤ Dany ( Daniela ) - Guitarist - 24 years old,
    ❤ Pau ( Paulina ) - Drummer - 22 years old,
    ❤ Ale ( Alejandra ) - Bassist - 19 years old.
💥 THE WARNING has several styles of rock but they are invariably PURE ROCK whit their Structure, their Breaks, Transitions, Rithems, Changes, Modulatios, Choruses, Pre Choruses, Drum Attacks, Their Endings, The great beauty of their Art is on their simplicity, each of their pieces can be very different but allways whit THE WARNING's flavor is more than clear that this sisters have no limits they are The Queens of the Hook, the Riff, the Contagious Rhythms, Catchy Melodies and the Ambiguous but Profound Messages, the new Masters of Rock "THE WARNING".⚡⚡⚡ 🤟
    🥁 PAULINA VILLARREAL 🥁

Took me a couple listens (and a look back at the original album) to realize the "extended ending" to D2D isn't something really created for this; it had been a musical thematic element of he song since the beginning. For this production, they just "brought it forward" and emphasized it because it makes a nice tie-in point to introduce DK. But yeah - it's not "new"; it's always been there. ⚡🤘⚡ Both tunes are, of course, from _Queen of the Murder Scene_ and definite fan favorites... that everyone kind of complains are too short. So linking them together like this makes sense.

    *Dull Knives*
a dull knife tears instead of making a clean cut... torn wounds are very hard to repair... in this 9th song of the concept album, _"Queen of the Murder Scene"_ (aka QOTMS), the Queen is considering suicide as one way to possibly stop her evil side from taking hold... by using a dull knife, she is making it harder for someone to stop the bleeding and save her if she is found before she expires...
in another of the songs on the QOTMS album, *Sinister Smiles* , the lyrics talk about the water in a tub turning red from blood... this is seen as a female way of suicide because the tub would keep the mess all contained and not mess up other parts of the location...
to me, the lyric "I'm plucking roses but keeping the thorns!" is about seeing, gathering, and embracing beauty while retaining only the darkness and gloom that was used to create and protect that beauty... that's some pretty deep stuff, there!

Descartes A Kant literally means Descartes to Kant as a reference to Rene Descartes and Immanuel Kant two significant figured in western philosophy. Descartes favored using logic and reason over feelings and that the physical world sets the rules while Kant much more was a think it into being kind of thinker and that ethics are universal. So the band name is telling a story about their music.

Concept album not concert (I bet autoincorrect was involved there)
It's the opening track where the narrator introduces the story of the murder queen. It's a great album. Then again so are all their albums. But a concept album as the second album. When you are soo young is wild
