I got Cuno to join me on my first playthrough. I failed to warn Kim, and I was so close to reloading my save, but decided to exhaust the whole conversation with Cuno explaining what happened before reloading my save, and when I saw that he joined me, I could not pass up the opportunity. Kim survives, he's just in the hospital, so it's not a bad ending for him, and having Cuno interject on everything is incredibly fun. I totally recommend people play through that outcome.
I always imagine Kim being visited later in the hospital by Harry and Cuno, flowers in hands, telling him about how they solved the murder AND even saw a cryptid. A small tear comes down his eye and he says "I always had faith in you".
This was my experience in my first play through as well, which was literally two days ago. Kuuno is the man!! The way he lays into your colleagues is priceless. And then I made him a jr detective or whatever it was!! Loved it. He did tell us his real name is Kuuno, didn’t he? Haha
I think the dream sequel is 6 years later, and it’s a young adult Cuno at the RCM - You could implement skills development as more like coming of age type growth as a spin on Harry’s more new born way of doing it. (Thank you! 🫶)
It's crazy how accurate they got the personalities of these ideological followers. Having been a part of the incels, before they were even called that, long ago before I learned how to communicate, it was hilariously shameful listening to the leader and follower version of that ideology get said it out loud in a serious manner. I'm sure none of these ideologies are remotely new, just new versions of the same insecurities and the made up bullshit that's been going on for thousands of years.
How the hell did I not know about detective Cuno?!!? that's the sickest secret I've ever since in a videogame before... and it's only a secret because Kim Katsuragi is so good noone wants him to get injured, God I love this game
Whelp, if I already didn't want to do the Fascist quest, I can rest easy doing not doing it spares me five minutes of talking to Measurehead about semen
The Detective Cuno thing is not much of a secret and you don't even need low approval by Kim or fail the check - you can be at highest affinity with him and still choose to not warn him, easy peasy. IMO that's the much better ending as it's the only scenario where Cuno is off the street preparing to join the junior delinquent unit of the RCM, and Kim still lives so it's all good. I'm a sucker for seeing the most possible paths so I just made a save after doing the standard tribunal path, then replayed it to see what happens if I keep my mouth shut. Possibly the best choice I ever made. Not getting a phasmid pic is a shame, but what can you do - I'd rather save the kid and have another future ace detective in the ranks.
Weird how Revachol keeps being mispronounced in the mirror sequence but not always. I guess they recorded the personalities at different times and the pronunciation was corrected by the time Endurance was done.
@@rafasilva1265Is there some joke or point to the mispronunciation I’m missing? Endurance seems to say it wrong until the final time and then uses the soft sh. I am always keen to understand if there are yet more layers to this game I haven’t yet appreciated. 😂

One random example I can think of would be asking a French speaker to say "there". They don't have "th" in French so it would likely come out as "zere" or "sere". Similar with Rice and Lice for telling English speakers from Japanese, etc etc.
Is it possible to explore the different "icebreaker" variants? For example, is the "kingsman" angle the only one there, or is there another? Does the size of your icebreaker change depending on how you respond? I'm curious to know!
These political quests’ (and other additions of Final Cut) writing is so different from original game.. a lot less subtle, and politics feel much more current and less stylized and that of the past

Seeing Cuno actually care almost made me shed a tear. I'd love to see him as a Detective in a possible sequel.

endurance is purposefully mispronouncing it. The game had been released without a voiceover and spent more than a year before being voiced
