    due to watching this excellent video I have bought the machine and it is brilliant. The video is self explanatory and a very user friendly . Thankyou . The cable is not 12 meters long though ! not sure you need music in the background

    As another commenter said, at 4mins, the flat nozzle is actually for upholstery, stairs, car mats or small carpet areas. Don’t use it for hard surfaces as you will scratch the surface. The brush is for small smooth areas and dusting
    Great video😀

    Only one thing, the tube is made out of steel and not of aluminum , so it has a premium quality. It is an amazing vacuum cleaner. I love mine.

    How do you remove the hair from the brush roller? It does not look as though it opens up.
    I presume the HEPA filter has to be replaced every so often, yes? Or, do you just clean it with soap and water? I understand they now come with a HEPA filter.
    That one tiny brush is the only brush for upholstery?
    It sounds like it has incredible suckion power...... Are you vacuuming "medium" or "high" pile carpet in this video?

    I have 3 dogs. I vacuum every other day🌼 This is a very very good machine. Great suction, good tools and easy to move around. It was an investment that was worth it!

    A truly excellent review, and fully explained each tool,but most importantly the Miele Hoover was demonstrated in use. Well done. I have one of these hoovers too. Bags are sold in a 4 pack with additional motor filters for around £10.00 from most retailers.

      I bought one because of how well they filter. I haven’t had to buy allergy pills since owning it. And, it’s so easy to use that I find myself using the attachments to clean more than just the carpet, unlike my Kirby. Initially I thought it was expensive, but I remind myself that my air and home is so much cleaner and It will stay this way for 15-20 years. It’s a great investment.

    I highly recommend the c3 cat and dog. Powerful 2000W. suction that lifts the carpet on half power, which is good as the bag fills up it loses suction which can be increased accordingly. Very maneuverable, collapsible wand allows you to get under furniture. Turbo brush is fantastic. And its made in Germany.

    How often do you need to replace the bags? Do you buy from Miele website or from store? Do you buy Miele bags or generic? The bags (that the vacuum came with) are about 11" by 7" by 5". I went to Miele website. Was not easy the filter bags, so I called them. On website: products > accessories > vacuum cleaner accessories > all original dust bags. The instruction book called them "FilterBags" but on the website, they are called "dust bags". Cheaper on Miele website than on Amazon.

    Great video and the first decent UK one I’ve seen as the specs vary so much in other countries. I’m currently searching for a new machine after falling for the V10 can be your only household vacuum talk. Between the C3 Pure PowerLine plus a turbo head or the CX1 pets.

      I’m not sure if it’s been changed at some stage as someone else said the same and showed it unraveled…
      Mine is only 8.5 too but has a super upgraded handle to attach at the top of the steel telescopic pole!
      It’s otherwise the same, but also came with an extra small upholstery brush head… as well as the standard one and the turbo plus three small accessories

  • @Deano14397

    Does the rotating brush have good contact with carpet or any kind of height adjustment and do you have to have a specific carpet pile? Just I'm used to uprights with height adjustment,
    Thanks

    • @melissafarrugia9531
      @melissafarrugia9531 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes to both those questions and not sure about the pile of carpet question
      The suction is so good on ultra low quiet mode that it lifts the carpet off the floor 😂 the telescopic adjustable hose attachment is height adjustable and the best thing is never running out of battery before time because it doesn’t have one! The battery operated one I am replacing filled up extremely fast and was also a pet option in Electrolux from Sweden but had issues connecting to charge on the dock as it was front heavy etc, so if it wasn’t actually charging and you went to use it… flat….
      I’m so glad to finally have a good electric vacuum again after all the battery operated issues out there..
      no need to waste materials on batteries, the landfills increase and the like when they need replacing
      The fact this has a good suction at a super quiet mode is phenomenal and it is extremely obvious when you lift the head off the floor the sound difference is staggering but I can stealth clean at times needed without waking shift workers etc and even pets appreciate the low sound of it too I’m sure 😂❤

    • @jango1970
      @jango1970 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just used the vacuum cleaner for 1/2 minute. I see a small rectangle (red? orange?) appear in the indicator window. Does the window need to be full completely? When I open the bag lid (dust compartment) and press the blue plastic circle on bag (it says Miele on it), I can see that the bag is empty. I had the suction on MAX.

    • @justme7920
      @justme7920 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Jango place the brush head on the carpet on full power. The orange indicator will fill the entire window. That’s normal. Now lift the brush head from the carpet. The orange indicator should retract and no longer fill the entire window.

    • @croguy
      @croguy 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You are using too much power for the given surface. It is all about using adequate suction power for each individual surface. Hardwood floors use the maximum power. Carpets and area rugs use lower suction power compared to hardwood floors for getting the job done.

    • @multimill
      @multimill 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Miele make a mattress tool which has a very narrow suction channel which makes for a very powerful and effective way to clean mattresses. I have one and it is far more effective than the upholstery tool but to be fair, pretty much useless for anything else. I would never get rid of my Miele especially for anything cordless which seems to be the current fashion!!

    hello what miele would you choose, the c3 or cx1 ? thanks

    • @HenryReviews
      @HenryReviews  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s a hard one to say really. One is bagged the other bagless. The C3 has lots of benefits, but the CX1 does too. I think it’s down to personal preference over if you want a bag or not. They are both on the same level as a cleaner really

    • @rowanmason3428
      @rowanmason3428 7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      OAAC Médias I prefer the c3 as you remove the bags and filters and simply replace them (what doesn’t cost a lot) than the cx1 you have to wash lots of filters and clean a container often

    Just received my complete C3 cat and dog powerline vacuum. I mainly have tile in my home with a few low pile area rugs. My model came with floor brush Parquet twister and also Electro plus power brush. Its so difficult to use either brush or my area rugs as I cant move back and forth easily. pulls my area rug all over the place. What am I doing wrong, what am I missing? Brand instruction are not the best. Also, does it make a huge difference on the settings you use? The instructions say what each setting is best for, but in this video it seemed as though you used it to only adjust the suction no matter the suggested setting for particular area like the curtain fabric setting... etc. I hope I am making sense. Should I consider purchasing a different brush head? Different model? Any advice? Help.

    • @udifel
      @udifel 5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Jessica Roth if you feel the suction power is too much for your rugs simply reduce the suction power by clicking on the minus button (all the way down to curtains mode if necessary). The standard head brush should be fine but switch it to carpet mode when used on rugs.
