The 'clip' for the easy storage is on the wrong part of the tube. Take it off, and put it on the other one just by the handle. When you separate the two tubes, the bottom one clips to the vacuum body and the other one rests on it via the clip.
Brilliant video thank you so much! I just got this vacuum and had a couple of questions about the assembly I couldn’t quite work out from the instructions or other videos on TH-cam. Your video was incredibly detailed and thorough. I had no idea what the “storage clip” thing was for and agree it is very awkward and doesn’t quite sit right. Your voice is very soothing I could watch you for hours 😁 thanks
Merci encore pour cette excellente vidéo, extrêmement précis et détaillé. Personne d’autre ne sait aussi bien présenter un aspirateur dans les moindre détails !
I bought the Classic One Turbo and am very happy with it. I do find on some rugs and carpet I do have to open the air vent a little bit so my floor heads glide smoothly across the carpet. My problem was the Turbo head. Works fine but my hair and my cats fur wraps around those bristles and I have to cut it off with scissors or exacta knife and that is a hard job and I am fed up with it. I have switched to this Combo floor head. So thank you for your videos on the Miele Canister Vacs.
Ok so I think that clip bracket for the wands goes on the top wand under the curve hand grip. And than when done vacuuming you seperate the wands and and with the floor head in the parking bracket on the back with the bottom wand still attached to the floor head. Take the top wand and clip it in place with the bottom wand in that storage spot to the back. I hope this is understandable and may help I did pause the video and took a look at the set up you have there and something isn't right for sure. So to simply say switch the wands from the original position you had them from unboxing and see if that works better maybe. Sorry this is long I ramble and over explain but I tried painting a clear picture what I mean
We actually have this same one in the USA and probably no difference btw I love the beginning of you hitting 100 thousand subscribers and I love the goblin robot unboxing
Great video! Would be lovely to have Mieles available here in Brazil :) About the storage setting, maybe it needs to have the "cap" attached on the tube with the floor tool while the other part (like a collar) and the hose attached on the second tube, this way I think they would be side by side... Love your channel!
Bonjour Monsieur pouvez vous me conseillez ce modèle pour un nettoyage pour du carrelage et parquet? merci encore pour cette présentation très instructive
We do not have a power nozzle version of this cleaner or any Miele in the UK. The power nozzles supplied with some models are not designed to be easy to open for cleaning as I think you need to undo multiple screws and many vacuum repair technicians don’t like servicing Miele power nozzles.
Hi Roger When I was about 3 or 4, i was really scared or vacuums and hand dryers and I thought the + and - was a volume control and when my mum pressed the + I got very annoyed, thinking she was turning up the volume too loud…😂😂😂😂😂
I recently got a used S2186 similar to C1. It did not come with the dust bag holder. I ordered a spare holder. It does not have a spring I read might be needed. Does yours have a spring? The vacuum shop did not carry a spring...
No. Some youtuber said that mostly upright and canister with brush roller are not best on loop pile carpets. The carpets becoming very bare when the brush roller pull the fibres of the loop pile carpets. It is depends on carpets type not only brush roller cleaners are better on carpets and suction only cleaners are better on hard floors
Not just the tools that are inconveniently placed. The fact that all the controls are at the opposite end to the carrying handle when you stand the cleaner up is also a pain. As for stairs. Forget it. Can't wait to replace mine.
We had the turbo nozzle. It broke after a year's worth of usage. Plus cleaning the brush bar is a pain as hair wraps around it. We bought an aftermarket floor tool that has a metal underneath instead of a plastic one and it does a really good job.
@ibaisaic could you please tell me how long does a bag take to fill up ? how many bags would i need in a year lets say, i live in an communist type block with 2 bedrooms, livingroom and kitchen, with a mix of flat carpets and hard flooring, so not a lot of dirt, i dont want to buy this and have to buy bags every 2 weeks

To Push that vacuum around the house I would prefer to do it on tile floor then on carpet. If I could only buy a vacuum like that I would only have tile floor no carpet

To clean carpet you also are supposed to open the cap on the tube to give more air flow. That way it's easier to move.
Thanks!

I recently bought this vacuum for my new apartment. I'm looking forward to start using it.
Wow, I watch your videos mainly because I can’t sleep at night, your soothing voice helps and I knock out on seconds. Love your videos btw Roger
I’m also watching late at night (midnight) while I should be asleep!
Thank you. Good honest video. I pass on this Miele C-1. I don't have the strength. Appreciate this video so much.

Very nice to see a Miele vac again. When is the Henry HVR200-22 vid gonna be uploaded
What do you mean Henry HVR200-22?

Enjoyed the video and I have the vacuum. But I need to know if there is a way to open up the bottom of the power nozzle to clean this vacuum.

@@ibaisaic Miele now sells a post-motor filter that is for sound deadening.
Great video thanks! Love the socks :)
German cleaners are really good I’m from Austria but German is our neighbor
You had me lol when you tried it on your sitting room carpet. This is exactly my issue.
I was dying xD
Thank you Ibaisaic
Great video-- fantastic job-- very informative and helpful. Thank you for posting this awesome video.
I have the Black Pearl C2 Powerline. Sadly made in China, but as Miele produces all of their motors I dont see the the problem🙂 It’s a great vac

Very good one😀
Hi Roger, Is there someone throwing up in your house or do my speakers need replacing??
Your speakers or ears. I watched the video on my 4K TV and the sound was fine.
@@ibaisaic Okay 😂😂😂 I tested it on my laptop and it’s fine, my TV’s really old now and has gone through many years of films on full blast!
Did you return it and get something else?
How do I know when the dust bag is full and needs replacing?
The indicator doesn't show as only displays suction power.
The bag check indicator can be used as a rough guide, but probably best to check the bag after a few weeks.

This is a nice machine but surely Miele could have included a turbo nozzle as standard as well

have miele stopped making a mains powered upright? i cant find them anywhere
I think so, a lot of companies have stopped making mains powered vacuum cleaners…
Miele discontinued their uprights quite a while ago in Europe and also for the US market, though some sellers may still have stock.
