Zombie fashion show first up we have, wait what's your name again, Zombie in leather:GGRRRR I WANT UR BRAINS!Good name and zombie in the butter what's ur name, Butter zombie:Must have brains with butter, We have grr I want brains in a lovely girly pink purple and orange suit and for zombie butter is wearing butter and the winnner is BUTTER
Good reply Carly, it's a bit hard to read on youtube because of spacing, normally in a script; a new person speaking gets a new line, here you only have so many lines. Also a few guys here might not get the butter=gold link one some MC communities use it, and while I've only really watched Ethos and Beef, I've not heard them use the term so Minecrack followers may miss the in-joke.
I wish I had watched this season while you were uploading it. Love the underwater ruins. As for the lighting underwater... bioluminescence Beef! Totally works! Should have added tons of random glowstone underwater. Light up what you made.
Beef! Use the spruce wood like you were in this episode for the path when you get near the ruins of the town. It makes sense that they would have a semi-built path. But also living in a desert, the wind storms would always have sand over everything. So mostly sand/sandstone with bits of wood showing would look amazing!
BTW beef the desert always changes, dunes constantly change. If you have a path it will always get covered with sand so don't make it smooth add random sand over it (it wont pose a problem for the horses) also consider putting hills of sand on each side to represent that the path has been covered and cleared many times.
Hey beef, that tunnel idea you had in the fountain, you should lead it to your base. so when you're done you can take the dirt bridge out plus you have a secret passage. And with the ruins, you should place random stone/wood columns so it really looks like it got flooded or something. -Bye Beef
Beef, Your "Underwater Path" idea is a good one. I think you should have a broken bridge sort of crumbling into the depths. Then it should start again on the other side. And in some places, it should be buried under dunes or crumble into sinkholes.
Hey Beef, you could use fence as part of a wall. Like how in a regular house there is wood in between the walls, fence could be that wood, but exposed. Also for a building idea for your home, and how ur gonna build it underwater, either make an open modern looking area, or a bachelor pad! Just a suggestion, feel free to make a shutout! Don't worry, I'm not gonna get over u not getting a shutout. Thanks for reading! And good luck with your builds!
For the road, do an underwater tube in the ocean, For the desert do a tunnel that is worn out and falling apart made of sandstone slabs and stairs, for Extreme hills do wooden bridges across ravines and cut natural looking caves through the mountain, for Forest just stick with a good old fashion gravel trail but put lots of flowers and shrubbery there for a beautiful look to it.
for the bridge in the desert biome, you should use birch planks because it would look like the wood was sun-bleached. for the forest biome, use dark wood, as if it is rotted from rain.
Your house looks like the one of the guy that didn't want to stick with the village (village drunk) but at the end was right to set on top of the hill. And that is really nice your builds. :)
when you said you were going to make the path through the biomes, i thought of making the paths some what related to the next/previous biome. like the first path from your base would be water with lily pads on top would be the path til the desert ended and so on
What about your another bridge in the desert which looks like it has been engulfed by a sand dune so it sort of goes straight into a sand dune? Just done one on my minecraft with quartz and sandstone. Looks old worldly.
what you should do for the forest Beef is make it look mystical, what I mean by that is have fairy rings (circles of mushroom) and glowstone on cobble and mossy cobble for lighting, you should also make the path out of mossy cobble and regular cobble with ruined houses in the forest.
Beef when you started the episode I was wondering how you got those microblocks in vanilla. Maybe instead of "fixing" them you can use light glitches to your advantage.
Hey Beef I hope you see this before you get too much done with the path, but I think that you should make the path wider,at least 3 blocks,so that it's easily horse accessible. Most of the guys have horses and can travel quickly with them, so I think its safe to assume most of them will want to ride their horses to other people's homes so they can enjoy the scenery while they speak to their viewers. So with that in mind I think it would be complimentary of you to make the path wider. Great vid!.
The ruin idea is a good one. Not every house needs a light, ruins would be sparse and cause you to squint a little at darker areas. This place is lost, let part be mysterious. Same idea for the path to spawn, have it broken in areas where the desert has reclaimed it.
At 6:09 there looked like something was on the ocean floor, maybe a lighting glitch, patch of different blocks (clay perhaps) or space where sand had fallen into a cave. Might be worth checking it out Beef!
After watching the vid before this one this little idea popped into my head. Why not something to link with the ruins and is a shrine for your sand block, so it is in the same style of the ruins. It would be beneath the lily pad on the ocean floor, then build a tunnel possibly connecting to your place or residence on the pad, so it forms the 'root' of the lily pad. That way the lily pad looks as if it has grown directly 'almost' from the ruins themselves.
Hey beef in the desert, you could add things like small springs near the road with a few trees to add a bit more to your roads? kinda could be a place for horses to drink water ( basicaly a watering hole).
In the desert in the big hills maybe have small bits of obsidian/gold/sandstone sticking out so it looks like a statue buried in the sand after a storm or something
Hey beef I got one question. You are making the futuristic lily pad, so why are you making the walk way old? Don't you think you should make it new? Or that was the walk way for the underwater ruins?
Beef, you should consider making the sunken pathway like you said with ruins with glowstone around it so its visible from the surface. Then you should put a layer of ice just below the surface of the water so you can follow the sunken path by "walking on the water". Also most people are using horses to travel so maybe you should consider wider paths :)
You might be eating up a lot of quartz, but it's looking awesome! You could try birch wood planks in your desert road, they would look bleached out from the sun.
Have you thought about adding some more plants around the bridge too? That way it has a kind of over-grown, neglected look. Like nature is taking over. I like the clean look too though :)
Hey Beef, i realy like the idea of the road going into the ruins it adds to the story of the sunken city and dont worry if you think your work on it will be wasted...we will konw it :D
Hey beef, i'd just like to point out that it is kinda funny how you made a big point of how the riverbed where you made your bridge was fuller in the past. However, jow are building a village which was supposedly swallowed up by the sea. so wouldn't that mean the watrr at the bridge would actually be nonexistent? Just a thought:) great vid though!
Hey Beef, I just got to thinking... Maybe if instead of putting sandstone in the dessert, grass in the plains, etc... You do the opposite... Like if You were in the dessert, you would put snow coverings over the blocks, or something like that... Anyways... I love what you do... Its amazing!!
The underwater ruins are very reminiscent of the town bdubs has outside of the arena past season just in terms of size and build style, it could be interesting if you designed it to somewhat replicate a post apocalyptic version of the arena town and maybe a very stripped down destroyed arena
Beef, As always you amaze me. You are able to be an amazing and extremely popular TH-camr and still be able to have time to connect with your viewers. Just.. wow, wow. You are awesome, just AWESOME. P.S.: I'm eating steak while typing this. XD
Hey Beef remember those pyramids in the deserts... They have Sandstone! pre made for you, just because you dont have to dig a bunch of sand, they are gifts from ancient egyptians! ^-^
When you make the bridge a lot bigger you can put vines and make holes in the bridge to make it look old and rust and also use birch wood to make it look like the sun took off the color
Beef maybe try using half slabs placed on top of the ground level with exposed gravel and sand occasionally set level with the ground. That way the path is slightly more noticable and the gravel and sand would look like road base materials.
You have a higher chance of getting a chicken from an egg if you hit a chicken with the egg. If you'll notice, there was a sudden spam of chickens when the eggs were hitting them.
You know, a great enchantment for boots in minecraft (mindcrack according to beef) would be the ability to swim faster... Propulsion or something like that so the boots act like fins, but feather falling can not be enchanted onto these boots once it has this enchant.
U should build a dam by the dried out river to make other people know that the river was bigger before -mossy cobblestone might look cool I enjoy your series keep making more.
beef i love your videos and your my favorite youtuber you always impressed me especially with your castle in season 2. And my favorite series was feed the beast and i dont want you to quit palying it so do not look im the comments in ep 52 you mite rage quit
What's with the whole white screen when going in the water. When I played Ruins of the Mindcrackers 2, I kept getting a full white screen whenever I went in water. Is it a bug or is it meant to be like that?
Hey Beef the under water town idea is great but I think u should put like more ruins like destroyed houses, houses in a sink hole, houses pieces all scattered out in the water. :) this is my suggestion to u Beef man.
Hey Beef. Just an idea, but I think it would look cool if you build a broken ship or a ruined harbor as well. Also, for the path in the forest, you could use a cobble half slab and stairs road. It is 3 blocks wide and is like this H = Half Slab S = Stairs R = facing right L = facing left SL H SR SL H SR and just repeat that. And you could also have lampposts by doing this G = Glow stone F = Fence F F G F F F I just thought that these ideas look cool. Thanks if you read it
It's whenever mojang change and improve the way that terrain (the world, so like the mountains and trees, really just any land) is generated, so that new, better sorts of land formations are possible.
Would be awesome if beef can replace the ugly dirt bridge to the lilly pad with an awesome Golden-Gate Bridge style structure (Not copying Golden Gate Bridge cause beef said that this time he would not go with realistic builds) but a double decker bridge that has minecart rails below (Below water level), ice or glass underwater walls and a surface walkway (Actually had this in a dream) So hope this works out for beef!
Beef, you should make an underwater tunnel to an underwater base which has see-through glass everywhere and people can look at underwater world thro it, and have your squid farm there too :D
dude you should've did the walkway opposite biomes in each biome / desert=grass ice=nether and so on that would've been cool because you couldn't miss the way it looked thanks great vid subscribed yesterday
beef you should make a underwater ruin every 5 episodes or so, and "dedicated" it to that group of episodes because they have a perpous (besides decoration) and i dont think anyone on the server did it and its unique

im a talk show host for a zombie fashion show!

I mean r u saying this Samuel person here is 5 or me I mean
In my opinion VintageBeef is the best survival video maker. The upload times and the stuff he does, awesome keep it up!
I wish I had watched this season while you were uploading it. Love the underwater ruins. As for the lighting underwater... bioluminescence Beef! Totally works! Should have added tons of random glowstone underwater. Light up what you made.

Thanks for providing entertainment for me beef! :D Keep up the amazing work! I really like how this Lily Pad is coming along! :D
you know beef is the only LP'er I've seen who uses quartz in projects, and it just looks great.
beef, six years ago: "im still waiting for the day you can combine half slabs"
me, now: "im still waiting for the day you can combine half slabs"
BTW beef the desert always changes, dunes constantly change. "Lets go with a fency window, is like a fancy window but fency"
That one cracked me up
Beef I thought you were going for the whole futuristic theme and was really excited for it.
Beef, Your "Underwater Path" idea is a good one. I think you should have a broken bridge sort of crumbling into the depths. Then it should start again on the other side. And in some places, it should be buried under dunes or crumble into sinkholes.

Beef, how do you only have 500,000 subscribers? You deserve way more!
Your house looks like the one of the guy that didn't want to stick with the village (village drunk) but at the end was right to set on top of the hill. And that is really nice your builds. :)
usually deserts sicken me when people do projects there, but beef made me change my mind!
when you said you were going to make the path through the biomes, i thought of making the paths some what related to the next/previous biome. like the first path from your base would be water with lily pads on top would be the path til the desert ended and so on

I kind of like the light glitches, it made it look like microblocks, also they add a nice contrast to the pure white.
for the path, when you get into the next grassy biome, you should use hardened clay and jungle wood!
21:00 you know that wheat is how you breed the vhickens right? and not to mention how to get them to follow you.
Why you dont use glass in the place of ice because its easyer with the light
At 6:09 there looked like something was on the ocean floor, maybe a lighting glitch, patch of different blocks (clay perhaps) or space where sand had fallen into a cave. Might be worth checking it out Beef!

loving this project
Hey beef in the desert, you could add things like small springs near the road with a few trees to add a bit more to your roads? kinda could be a place for horses to drink water ( basicaly a watering hole).
Every time he goes to spawn he needs to bring a saddle for all the wild horses
Hey Beef, instead of placing the fence gate place a netherbrick fence. You can enter and get out easily and the chickens won't be able to go out.
In the desert in the big hills maybe have small bits of obsidian/gold/sandstone sticking out so it looks like a statue buried in the sand after a storm or something

"Oh, a baby? I'm gonna wait until you grow up before I murder you." -Vintage Neef
Hey Beef, Start a pumpkin farm so you can turn one pumpkin into 4 pumpkin seeds, then you can breed the chickens a lot !
if you are worried about the glowstone, you can explain it as advanced civilzation lighting.
You should use birch slabs at the bridge, looks like the Wood has been bleeched.
*casually passes enderman on bridge* You know, you should totally charge him to be there... Toll booth! Ahhaha
Have you thought about adding some more plants around the bridge too? That way it has a kind of over-grown, neglected look. Like nature is taking over.
I like the clean look too though :)
That would be a hell of a throwback!
Hey Beef,
i realy like the idea of the road going into the ruins it adds to the story of the sunken city and dont worry if you think your work on it will be wasted...we will konw it :D

Beef, if you have to go through a jungle biome, make the path out of cobble and have some mossy stone scattered throughout with vines
The underwater ruins are very reminiscent of the town bdubs has outside of the arena past season just in terms of size and build style, it could be interesting if you designed it to somewhat replicate a post apocalyptic version of the arena town and maybe a very stripped down destroyed arena
beef i love your brige and the lily pad and do a small secret room in one of the houses under the water
Beef, you need to go to a random sand hill, and just flatten it out, that is a good way to get sand, while still making it look natural
I think it might be cool if you dug through the terrain like an ancient cave (It would be a large hassle I know) for the road
I think that there should be a mindcrack drinking game. Every time beef says ill tell you what you have to drink
the clicking has never bothered me until you pointed it out :)
I think that having the sandstone road at the same level looks good because It makes the sandstone look like heavily horse trampled sand
Beef,
As always you amaze me. You are able to be an amazing and extremely popular TH-camr and still be able to have time to connect with your viewers. Just.. wow, wow. You are awesome, just AWESOME.
P.S.: I'm eating steak while typing this. XD
Beef! Remember the monument to the first block ever broken! don't wait until it's too late to incorporate it into the lily pad!
You should've made the desert road like the mire road in the Edge chronicles, it's hard to see but if you leave the path you fall in quick sand
You could also build something like a Spinx, but instead of the cat it's a cow because Vintage"Beef"
Hey Beef remember those pyramids in the deserts...
They have Sandstone! pre made for you, just because you dont have to dig a bunch of sand, they are gifts from ancient egyptians! ^-^
Happy Birthday Beef!!!
18:04 You're right, Beef. it is good to touch your wood every once in awhile.
When you make the bridge a lot bigger you can put vines and make holes in the bridge to make it look old and rust and also use birch wood to make it look like the sun took off the color
I don't know what crazy things go on in your life, but you build lays potato chips?
Just kidding, great job, Beef!
Beef has best build so far by far
I love you voice, it's so relaxing, and I love all you videos!
Beef maybe try using half slabs placed on top of the ground level with exposed gravel and sand occasionally set level with the ground. That way the path is slightly more noticable and the gravel and sand would look like road base materials.
hey beef you could make a underwater dome and have holes ib it so water falles in but it doesnt flood the floor.
Beef you should make part of the path head into the ruins and have it connecting to some of the structures as a path.
Love the bridge, Beef!
what if u had the path go around the lake and a path through it. the city could be part sunk and partly above water
You have a higher chance of getting a chicken from an egg if you hit a chicken with the egg. If you'll notice, there was a sudden spam of chickens when the eggs were hitting them.
jn the desert you should build parimids/other ruins as you walk across the path
Beef with the design you have for your cactus farm, you might as well store the Holy Grail in it.
I think the bridge by your house should be like half with oak wooden planks thin have it slant into the water with darker wood
beef i love your videos and your my favorite youtuber you always impressed me especially with your castle in season 2.
On the bridge put some of the half slabs in the water to make it look old
If there is an ancient pathway through a desert i would expect dunes to at least partially cover some bits. Just a suggestion!
Hey Beef the under water town idea is great but I think u should put like more ruins like destroyed houses, houses in a sink hole, houses pieces all scattered out in the water. :) this is my suggestion to u Beef man.
Hey Beef if you put the path under water you you can use glass to see under the water and build a small city and then use glow stone to light it up
Hey Beef. Just an idea, but I think it would look cool if you build a broken ship or a ruined harbor as well. Also, for the path in the forest, you could use a cobble half slab and stairs road. It is 3 blocks wide and is like this
H = Half Slab
S = Stairs
R = facing right
L = facing left
SL H SR
SL H SR
and just repeat that. And you could also have lampposts by doing this
G = Glow stone
F = Fence
F F
G F
F
F
I just thought that these ideas look cool. Thanks if you read it
It's whenever mojang change and improve the way that terrain (the world, so like the mountains and trees, really just any land) is generated, so that new, better sorts of land formations are possible.
For aesthetics , try to leave some houses dark. Also, try putting workbenches, furnaces and beds.
Hey beef, the biome path is awesome! I made one on my world and it looks great!
Since you have an old underwater ruins area, you should have a futuristic floating sky village area
Beef, you should make an underwater tunnel to an underwater base which has see-through glass everywhere and people can look at underwater world thro it, and have your squid farm there too :D
An idea for underwater ruins make a destroyed temple or something, just a suggestion. Keep up the good work
dude you should've did the walkway opposite biomes in each biome / desert=grass ice=nether and so on that would've been cool because you couldn't miss the way it looked thanks great vid subscribed yesterday
beef you should make a underwater ruin every 5 episodes or so, and "dedicated" it to that group of episodes because they have a perpous (besides decoration) and i dont think anyone on the server did it and its unique
Beef in the ruins you should put a system of catacombs where you can actually go in and put a shrine of some sort inside
Birch would could blend in very well with the sand and it has the taste of 'this bridge is old'
You should do an episode where you show a new build after every cut. "Don't know if I showed you guys this yet" every time.
I cant tell you what i think of the bridge, I liked the video when you showed it ;)
