Space Hulk 100% should be a year round product it’s iconic enough where people recognize it even if they aren’t familiar with 40k

I'd love a new Space Hulk, ideally one with Expansions. Maybe sort of a Kill Team Crossover where you can use 40k Kill Teams to sweep corridors and get loot. Blackstone Fortress seems a little busy to me.

My Christmas gift for you, TIN ROOF FLASHING!
It's a thin sheet of metal, comes in a large roll and you can cut it with little $10 TIN snips, although I heard yiu can use a utility knife if your careful. I bought one roll and it lasted me for 6 small containers!

I was able to cut it with a good utility knife and a few passes. Then you fold it and it snaps clean. I would however ALSO get some aviation/tin snips to trim if you are off at all or to get edges that are missed etc. I also ran a bead of hot glue along the edges in the bottom of the container to keep the sharp edges protected. I used double sided foam tape to secure it to the bottom also

You got it Jay, the magnetic storage you showed is how I have been storing my models. I buy a metal sheet from Lowes in their air duct (HVAC) area and cut it with straight tin snipping shears. I use double sided tape and duct tape to hold it in the box. Works well but remember that magnets have weak shear strength so they can slide and bang around if you drop the box or jostle it too hard.

Actually with metal there is a relatively easy way to do it that is easy to cut and use. I've been using K&S Precision Metals hobby sheets for movement trays since 6th edition WHFB. All my armies are magnetized with it and you can buy Tin sheets relatively cheap. You can very easily cut them with scissors to help make model cases for 40k too.

I use 6x1.5mm neodymium disc magnets. You can glue them with super glue to the bottom of the base and you only need to use 1 or 2 for small models and 6-7 for big models. They hold so well that you want to only use them sparingly so you can actually remove the model from the tray. I also recommend getting hard metal sheets. They're tough to cut but hold to magnets way better.

I recently made storage trays for my kill teams. Was running out of space on my display shelf, and my ultramarines didn't like bumping elbows with orcs. I ordered greenstuff world magnet paper and rubber steel sheet. The rubber steel works so much better than the magnet paper. My little neodymium magnets stick to it way better than the magnet paper for some reason, and you could still cut the steel rubber with scissors.

It all comes down to cost. If you line the bottom of the tray with metal instead of magnetic sheeting it’s gonna be more money. If you use the sheeting, then you generally need more magnets to get it to stick properly which is costly. So… 6 of 1, half dozen the other kinda thing.

I only know the german word „Ferrofolie“, but I think it should be called „ferrofoil“ in english. I think that is what you are looking for with your storage. The magnet stuff you‘re using is meant to be used for selfmade fridge magnets and stuff like that. It IS the magnet basically, while „ferrofoil“ is meant to have magnets stick to it. I hope I got my point across. :D

I think it's likely cursed city was limited due to supply chain issues, with the printed elements (game boards, etc) became too expensive and caused it to be unprofitable for a time. I'm excited for what the expansions may bring, I've only played it once but I found it pretty fun and slightly more interesting than blackstone fortress was. Also I'm hoping to use it to get a friend interested in age of sigmar as he's been resistant to get into it despite liking 40k and fantasy. Also I really like hammer and bolter, I thing the space wolf one was the best animated and even though I'm not a fan of space wolves I thought it was good, I think hammer and bolter excels at telling smaller more personal stories, rather than grand narratives. Something like a snapshot of space wolf initiates taking part in a blood game or the most recent one with the tech priest just providing a glimpse into the world is what it's best suited for. The eldar one and old bale eye have probably been my favourite, conversely I think the sisters one was the weakest, it felt very static and didn't really need to be animated, it could have easily been a written short story or audiobook episode. Also even though I already converted a gravis captain I'm going to get the new one as I'd like one to just run as a captain since the one I converted is my chapter master.

I enjoyed the Hammer and Bolter Eldar episode, it showed how brutal the humans are lol. The new model looks great, be fun to see how you base it.

GW should swallow their pride and realise, that warhammer plus is to hide their promotion behind a paywall!

If you got a thin sheet of steel you might be able to use a pair of snips to cut it. You'd definitely need to file and sand the edges after through to prevent splinters and curring yourself

Depends on the sort of steel, and it's better to get a sheet of softer metal.
Best to be specific when trying to find something for this purpose.

tactical rocks are cool, but they really need to be an optional part you connect to, its hard to blent them into the base at times!

space hulk isn't sold because people buy it for models and the game was average even 25 years ago

Get a fold out metal tool box for your carry case

For your boxes... 30gauge or higher sheet metal and some snips. Not hard at all. Not expensive either.

Pleasantly surprised at the lack of redditors, gatekeepers and people that have never touched a mini declaring that supporting anything other than TTS is high treason, and saying anything good about GW is blasphemy

I’d really like some Primaris assault marines. With jump packs.
